There were also performances every evning and animation team activities.. The hotel is located in the Northern coast, about 15 minuts by cab from Mombasa's main attractions very good value for the money ”

I liked the wonderful friendly atmosphere and the location of the hotel right at the beach. I didn't like that I was expected to pay a daily fee to utilise the in-room safe and that the internet availability was limited to a very small level and only available on purchasing vouchers. For the price this hotel charges, these facilities should be included without an additional fee.

The hotel was great. Loved the all inclusive and hence the budget friendly tag. Once u pay you don't have to think of too many other expenses. There is stuff for kids to do as the parents relax. Liked the theme nights that were followed even in the food menu and traditional dances. The staff were very friendly. The aircon in the room was abit difficult to manoever and so ideal temp was hard to find.

On a Short business Trip to Mombasa, had two nights at the Voyager. Closed to airport and so good if you have a business trip to town. Food was ok, first night not a good shift, second day was great. Would not recommend the the Italien and Seafood Resturant , all over priced. The staff is very helpful. Book in any case "all in" other wise it is getting expensive. Nice pools, even the main pool is very load, they have a relax pool and a sports pool.... Room was simple furnitured, the complex needs urgent a total revamp!! It is also cheap, so you get what you pay for! It is max 3*.... Enjoyed my stay, and will return for two or three night.

Well se out. Staff are friendly and helpful. We found glass in my wife's food, reported it. It nothing was done. My wife as accosted by 2 drunk men at one of the pools and hassled, again we reported it but nothing was done. Electricity was on an off all week while we were there. Very expensive if not all inclusive.

Overall we found the experience “ok” and would very much recommend this place for the traveler who is used to an “all inclusive” sort of place. The food was fantastic, way above any expectations and the highlight of the stay. When booking we were concerned that USD 177 per night is more than we are used to paying – but once you factor in the two meals for two and entertainment (local talent), it actually becomes a great deal. The entertainment: The Mombasa Circus – super talented guys, but the act could use a lot of work (think I may have been watching too much “america’s got talent etc..). The guy on the microphone was super annoying. We arranged our safari’s upon arrival with the Hotel and that worked out super. We had a driver / guide by the name of Micheal and we was super cool. We spend to more nights at 2 different lodges: the Voi Safari Lodge (absolutely amazing) and the 2nd I don’t remember the name of but was also superb (both didn’t have AC’s, 1st had a pool which was awesome for cooling off). It is worth noting that this was our first time in Mombasa and so we did lack experience. The room was not that great at all – below expectations, nothing special at all. Ac didn’t work and we had to call a guy to sort it out, didn’t take too long, but it was a hot wait for sure! The service was “ok” – nothing special, I couldn’t help but feel that the staff overall were not that happy that we were there. Kind of like we were an inconvenience. STAY AWAY FROM THE BEACH. I am a very experienced traveler and have been all over the world, but I tell you, this was horrible. We all like a bargain, we all souvenirs, but these guys take it to another level. We started speaking to one guy, and by the time we were done we were surrounded by about TEN guys all trying to sell us stuff. Do not be fooled by the guys wearing the same color t-shirts as the hotel staff, the do NOT work for the hotel. We did not feel threatened….just harassed and an overall terrible first impression. My recommendation to the hotel is to WOTH WITH THESE GUYS, they have a lot to offer and we wanted to buy – but not like in this manner. We felt that this hotel, although offers all everything you need, just somehow lacks “soul.” Next time I would skip this stop and head straight out on safari.

A fabulous hotel! Great staff, fun nightly themes, lovely food and the sea on your doorstep. I visited Mombasa on business, although very little actual work got done on account of the beach and ample beer. The wifi internet is fairly pricey and only available in the lobby. A wifi hotspot nearer the rooms would be great.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! It was our first stay in an all- inclusive hotel ever and what an experience it was! The place offers delicious food, free alcoholic drinks, evening programs, also has sport equipment to rent, a clean pool, and it's right next to the sea. Did I mention a ton of food and drinks? And the absolutely best thing is: once you check out you can still use all of the facilities and food/drinks/equipment. Also what we found very relaxing - no need to tip people all the time (we would have to do tons) the hotel has a no-tip policy. If you feel like tipping you put it in a box and it is divided equally among the staff. This place is great to relax after a rather tiresome and intensive safari. Advice to fellow travellers: if you're fair-skinned (or even fairly dark) be really careful with sunbathing! It is really dangerous to be out in the sun at around noon even with a 30 filter! The "beach boys" harassing you every time you intend to go to the beach or have a swim. It is not the hotels fault, but be careful - they will want to talk, sell you stuff, or take you places. Also our room was freshly painted in the toilet so there was a slight stench but it was no problem. You have to pay for the wifi or go to the beach and steal it from the other hotel :)

Location on the beach front and the selection of pools. We used the quieter one for adults only, looking out right over the beach. Upon check in I informed the desk staff that we were checking out about 4am for our flight and as such we could not have the breakfast. In the evening, there was very loud live entertainment which was directly opposite the room that we were brilliantly assigned by her. It was impossible to sleep the very few hours that we had paid for. The duty manager did nothing to resolve the problem, denying us a move to a room away from the noise as he considered it an upgrade! The view didn't interest us - we just wanted quiet. All considered, it was a waste of our money. No discounts or compensation of any type was offered.
