If you are looking for an hotel away from the madness of Pub Street but only ten minutes walk into town, this is your location. The buffet breakfast selections were adequate and the restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool is on the smallish side of breakfast/restaurant area but it was ok for me.

On the other side, the room had no safe box. While the towels were changed daily, they were sometimes holey or threadbare, and they were dried on the rooftop hanging over chairs... The bathroom is too small, with no separate shower but only with a shower curtain (water all over the floor everywhere). Most disappointing was how loud this hotel is. I was frequently awakened by random very loud banging in the middle of the night. Since the walls are thin, I heard every guest coming and going.

Good location, 5 minutes walking to pub street.

Our room has window to the hall. Annoying phone at the hall rings every morning at 6am.

Location is good on a quiet side street close to the market and pub street

Hotel overbook the rooms during busy times and pushes some guests to their much less comfortable lodging. Lack of integrity management staff.

The staff are wonderful; most speak English quite well and those who don't will find someone who does for you. The hotel is a 3 star so remember that as well as the fact that you are in Cambodia and all will be placed in the proper perspective. The owner is Cambodian who grew up in France so he knows much and is the most helpful of all; a really wonderful man. The rooms are quite nice for a 3star hotel and the breakfast is good with an eggs/omelette station, fresh fruits, breads, and hot dishes. The lobby is small but beautiful and tasteful and the sky bar (roof-top) is a great place to catch an evening breeze and have a drink prior to heading out towards pub street and the night market.

Beds could be a little more soft and plush but hey I'm old and broken so no big deal.

Very friendly staff, keep up with the good work! The pool is a very good relax area after the tired walk of temple visit. The croissant add on to the take away breakfast on 5am in our early temple visit is excellent, freshly baked & delicious! You may consider remove the 2 slices of bread from the take away breakfast or make it an option for travelers to choose. ;)

Everything is alright except the response of lift is quite slow, need to press & hold it for few seconds before it will move. Nevertheless, I stay at level 2, can always walk.

Friendly staff, rooms are a good size with tv, fridge, air-con & safe. The pool is lovely with a spa at the opened end and the meals are very good, the big plus is the price which includes Breakfast and only a five minute walk into town.

I really enjoyed my stay. The were very helpful and very nice. They recommened a tuktuk drive and he was so very nice. We went on two tours of Ankgor Wat and he was very knowlegable about all the temples. We had a wonderful massage. The food was excellent and priced very reasonably. I would not hesitate to recommend the Ancient Ankgor hotel.

The location perfect, not in the noisy street but near to noisy street ! (not for families etc -they sell drugs and massage in this road)...facilities for 3* were ok 'nothing too big, but gooood'. (like the swimming pool or the breakftast)

theirs english....and to arrange things;was tricky, some times late etc..
