It was lovely and very quiet. Great central location close to pub st and Angkor Wat.

The only thing is that it's a little way from pub street, oldies up for the good walk but teenagers had a whinge and preferred a tuk tuk which was fine!!!!!

The swimming pools and all day food and drinks service.

They are not very good organising trips. They only offered tuk tuk for Angkor Wat (no car or van, we had to look it for ourselves). It is far from the city and there are not many services around.

New hotel on the road to Angkor Wat, nice standard, good size pool, large rooms and bathrooms. We have been in Siem Reap for 1 month and checked out lots and lots of hotels. This is the one we felt gave us the most value for the money. Every evening between 6-8 pm a boxing venue playes music in the vicinity and disturbes a little, but except for that the hotel is really quiet. The hotel has bikes for rent, and it only takes 5 minutes to Lucky. Compared to other mid range hotels that get rated 8 or 9 in, this hotel should be 12.

There was nothing not to like

The location is right between Angkor and the city centre so both are only 10 minutes in a tuk tuk. The pool is clean, and was lovely and relaxing after busy days of sightseeing. Nice modern room, with excellent shower. Great value for money.

The breakfast was from a small menu rather than buffet as it was low season.

The pool is very good. The staff, courteous and the room is practically brand new. Generous enough to accomidate our request for a very late check out.

The chicken saté serving is not value for money. Pool needs daily cleaning. Some staff can hardly communicate and comprehend English. Doors need screen to prevent insects from getting in.

Location was little far from most things need tuk tuk most of the time to go anywhere or long walk to city.

Perfect location, between city center and the temples. Swimming pool is very enjoyable, especially after long days at Angkor. Staff and service are great: friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine and the room was clean. Room was very spacious.

Rooms are large and clean and the pool was clean and wonderful after a hot day at the temples. The location is perfect, close to the temples but back from the road enough for quite. We arrived on the Kumer New Years and were treated to a wonderful bbq dinner and celebrations.

One down side was the water in the room (shower and from sinks) has a high iron content and you could smell it and the water was yellow in the sink. Check out was very frustrating - it took over 45 min with multiple attempts at running 3 different credit cards - they said our cards were not working....Turns out that the machine had no paper or ink...and each card had been charged multiple times for the room - it took some back and fourth after we left to correct the cards and reverse the multiple with cash only if possible!!

Staying at the Angkor Boutique Tropic was a very pleasant experience for me. Facilities are brand new and wonderful, especially the rooms, pool and the restaurant; the staff (reception, restaurant and house keeping) are very professional without exception. I also liked the location of the hotel: the airport is 20 minutes west by tuk tuk, Siem centre is 10 min south and Angkor Wat is 20 min north. Getting around couldn't be easier. Ask for Ratha Sao as your tuk tuk driver - he is very friendly, knowledgeable and always reliable. Because the hotel is 50 metres off the main road it is very quiet; and with only 21 rooms it is cosy enough so that one can nicely switch off after the daily activities. Breakfast was included; the buffet had a nice selection - also for me as a vegetarian!

Tap water is not quite fit for consumption - however, 2 complementary bottles of water are included per day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazingly friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean and the swimming pool was a great place to relax after exploring the temples. The hotel is a bit out of the center but can be easily reached by tuk tuk or a 20 minute walk. There are so many hotels in Siem Reap and we're so glad we chose this one. We recommended this hotel without a doubt.

This hotel is really good place to stay and visit Angkor! It is very clear. The stuff is very helpful. When we have to get up early to see the sunrise in Angkor they prepared a breakfast. Pool is wonderful! Especially in the evening.

The location of the hotel. It is really far from the center of the city and it is difficult to find a supermarket near the hotel so we had to buy water and some snacks in the center. Also there are no places to take a dinner around the hotel.

Pool was amazing, so big and lovely big sun loungers. Plus it was one of the pools of the hotels that we stayed in that actually got the sun so you could sunbathe too. Great big room and bed Location - everywhere is a tuk tuk away but most hotels are like this. Pub street was a $2 trip Close to Angkor wat so if you haven't got much time you can get there and back easily plus you don't have to get up quite so early for the sunrise!

Water in our room seemed to be coming from a rusty tank as full of iron... Breakfast was a bit weak but they did have cereals, pastries and cooked English and to be fair only a small outfit

-Rooms are spacious and clean for the most part -Internet worked well and good TV channels -Pool was of decent size and clean -Breakfast was good (except for the nasty powdered orange juice)

-Hotel is not in a central location. You will need a tuk tuk to get to restaurants, downtown etc, so factor that in the cost of your room. -Despite the staff being nice, they spoke near zero English (except for the manager) which made it very hard to communicate. They seemed clueless most of the time about anything we'd asked. -Food at the restaurant was not great and overpriced. Go to Blue Pumpkin downtown to eat instead. -Biggest problem was the AC that stopped working intermittently in our room. We switched rooms but the problem was the same. The room was like an oven.

The bed size. Cleanliness overall except bath tub. Nice staff. Shower is great. Hotwater yo Entrance at garden is a plus. Excellent location.

Bath tub too dirty to be used. Not enough mirror in living room need to go bathroom to check myself. Breakfast can be better. One problem is its cleaniness. There's some ants/flies in the sauce and all around the dining area
