Amiable staff, good food, clean room and bathroom. i like the distance prayer of the monks as a wake-up call in the morning :)
Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast. Spacious bedroom. Close to Angkor Wat. Pool was very welcoming after a day at the ruins.
Quite a walk to Siem Reap city centre, but there are a couple of excellent restaurants close to the hotel.
The staff were amazing and accommodating. Cute hotel away from the craziness of everything but still close enough to major attractions. Loved this hotel and will definitely be going back if I'm ever in Siem Reap again.
SWIMMING POOL,SPACIOUS ROOM FRIENDLY STAFF THE HOTEL WAS JUST LOVELY, THE DRIVER OF THE TUK TUK WITH THE WHITE SATIN COVER AND LARGE APRICOT BOW, WAS GREAT HE IS A MUST IF YOU NEED A TUK TUK. CERTAINLY WILL COME BACK
THE FOOD AT BREAKFAST NOT BEING COVERED, BUT I AM SURE THAT WILL BE SEEN TO
Big and nice room Nice pool Quiet
-Take away breakfast is horrible - hotel location is hidden - staff English very limited - very little help to visit the temples - they cheat in laundry weight
Friendly and professional staff Good Breakfast included Rent bycicles (very nice) Pool
The location although not optimal is relatively near the city (by tuk tuk )
Very nice room, wonderful pool area, good breakfast included, good location for exploring the temples of Angkor by bycicles (about a 15m ride to the park entrance) which can easily be rented at the hotel
A bit far from the city centre - however, this was no issue for us as we preferred to stay close to the temples
Beautiful and nice location closer as possible for this price to Angkor Wat. The hotel in small village road, has swimming pool. Very clean room and excellent staff speak very good English. Always there even during night to help you!!!
Gardens were lovely. It was good to have a very lightweight duvet on the bed. Spacious rooms. Quiet at night.
The open dining room meant there were some flies on the fruit, yoghurt and breakfast cereal. Staff haven't been trained but are keen and friendly.
The staff was amazingly helpful, nice and polite. Everywhere was very clean - do expect to see some insects, remember you're surrounded by nature. The food was very nice, cheap drinks (compared to western countries) and nice, relaxing pool.
The bath is wayyyyyy too big... It would take ages to fill it up (apart the waste of water)... it was easier to go relax in the pool, so it was fine anyway
Everything. It was quite and clean. Everyone speaks excellent English and always there to help. Big Clean room near Angkor Wat. Shame we stayed only 3 days and have to move because Tropic was fully booked.
Everything. The staff did everything they could to ensure you had a perfect stay.
Room was spacious with nice balcony (although too hot to enjoy it!). Swimming pool just the right size and never too full. Food was good (more pricey than in Pub Street but you pay for the convenience). Staff were very friendly and polite.
Note that the hotel is down a narrow alleyway, too narrow for a car but fine for tuk tuks.
Staff were quick to attend our problems and didn't try to charge us for the nights we had booked and didn't stay. Location is convenient if going to the temples.
First room we got had some sort of insect, I suppose termites, that were making a very disturbing noise when working through our bed, we lifted the mattress we saw little piles of wood chips underneath and a lot of dust. We changed into a 2nd room which proved to be a noise nightmare, probably something to do with the water pump of the building, so we couldn't sleep at all. The toilet wasn't thoroughly cleaned. To be completely honest, staff and management offered to change our room again and promised to fix the noise problem but we decided to change hotel to ensure a proper night's sleep. Both management and staff that we dealt with were proffessional, polite and understanding at all times.
Pretty much everything. Extreme friendliness of staff. The pool is decent size (~15m long) and deep from around 1.5m (shallowest) to 2m. Good transportation arrangement by staff (from tuk tuk hiring to long distance bus ticket purchase)
Location is an area full of high end and sprawling hotels: the problem is that kills the street life, downtown (night market) is 2km south: a $5 return tuk tuk lift (alternately the hotel has bikes). Carpet in our room shown its age: the hotel could gain at replacing it with hardwood floors.
- helpful personnel, speaks good english - perfect restaurant, serving traditional meals (try their Lok Lak) as well as international cuisine - beautiful comfortable rooms - in-room Thai massage service
- everything was OK
The hotel is quite small therefore you have a lot of privacy. Staff are helpful and very informative on places to go, things to do and transport and tours which helped a lot as it was my first visit to Siem Reap. It will take you around 10min with a tuk tuk to Angkor Wat and around 10min to Pub Street and the Night Market. There are lots of stores around the hotel so souvenir shopping is made easy.
The hotel was a little difficult to find when arriving on the first night as it is located down a tiny alley. Breakfast could be better.
Everything was great. Nice hotel, good food, pleasant atmosphere.
We enjoyed the stay at the Angkor Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap. The area, where it is located, in the north of the city, between the city center and the entrance of the Angkor Wat area, is perfect to start the sightseeing tours as well as going to the city centre by Tuk Tuk for just 2 USD. The hotel itself is located in a very small side road of a main road Charles de Gaulles (as the street is very small and almost not visible, the small hotel sign should be replaced for a bigger one), which makes the hotel a remote and quite place to relax and recover after a hot, loud and sometimes dusty time at the various visiting sites, specially at the nice pool area. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful, our room was always in a clean and tidied up condition. We can absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay at Siem Reap! There might be some more advertising for the hotel, as there was no information found about the hotel in the local publications about "places to stay"!
I made a good choice, it's really really a good hotel. Those nice stuff in hotel made me feel like at home, and everyone smiles so warmly.especially one recepctionist named inn is a very great guy and helped us a lot.
Loved the pool, very quiet and the sun gets to both sides during the day. Amazing location to access the temples (10 mins in a tuktuk or hire the hotel's mountain bikes and cycle round). Front of house staff were great.
Jasmin room freshner was a little overpowering!
Beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms are clean and spacoius. Breakfast variety limited but OK. Food served in the restaurant sufficient so you do not need to go outside. Pool area very lovely. It's a beautiful place in scruffy surroundings.
Surroundings of the hotel look very poor.
Extremely comfortable, accommodating and helpful staff. Provided tuktuk ride from airport. Long walk to town, so only did once. Tuktuks always available at hotel.
Comfortable hotel on the way between Angkor temples and the city centre. We didn't try the swimming pool as we were there just for 3 nights and we went there especially for the temples. The stadff were super friendly. When we arrived, we were picked up by Narann. He was friendly from the start and was drivibg us around for our whole trip! Strongly recommended!! At the check in we were offered some juice and we could go in our perfectly clean and fresh room. Breakfast was okayish. It was not a buffet but a small menu which all looked like English breakfast... Not our taste. The lunch and dinner menu was much better although I'd recommend eating in the city as the atmosphere is great. The city and the surrounding is stunning but you can see the poverty on every corner.
