It has a good ambiance ,we had a connected room and room size is excellent.Decor of the hotel is good.Afternoon pool is good. It's little bit far to center but not big problem. You can go with Tuktuk 10 minutes.
Breakfast for the europeans is weak. For that price in siemrep the breakfast should be better. We had excellent breakfats in phnompenh .
Facilities and rooms are gorgeous, staff is fantastic
WiFi is spotty, though this seems to be a common theme in Cambodia
Great staff awesome pool soo much fun!!
wifi is so bad. staff are not trained properly.
We traveled around Thailand and Cambodia for two weeks and stayed in a few hotels along the way - Angkor Palace was by far the best for its facilities, service and value for money! And the breakfast was to die for...
Hard to name anything we didn't like about the place.
This was our first visit to Cambodia and staying at Angkor Palace Resort and Spa made it perfect for us. Where to start? The hotel is spectacular, food and restaurant staff top notch, location just right and every member of staff just waiting to ensure you have a memorable stay.
Nothing at all!
The pool and garden were beautiful
Too far away from siem reap town.
The beauty of the hotel. The free shuttle downtown.
our only issue was we returned back just at the hotel was fumigating outside.
The friendliness and responsiveness of the hotel staff was an added bonus.
we were highly welcomed by all the staff from hotel. Room was tidy, beds are cozy, we got a really great bathroom. whats more, hotel got various kind of breakfast. A good choice, highly commend.
WIFI bar was not that good.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, from check-in when they offered to move us from the rooms near the lobby if it might be noisy. We liked the rooms and the noise was not an issue. At breakfast the staff was attentive even with a buffet, although we did not go at the peak times. The location is convenient for touring the sites, but not right in town near all the restaurants. Friendly Tuk Tuks were available and fine to get us around for dinners. The tour desk was not pushy, and helped us plan even though we did not book a tour with them.
The rooms were a bit dusty, especially the floors, which might be due to the open area, and also I think the the rooms had not been used in a while. There was a mix up with the ariport pick-up and we had to wait a while. Check to confirm you are scheduled for the pick-up.
stayed for 7 nights at 75$ a night then asked could we extend are stay over new year where told yes but they wanted a 150$ a night a bit p---ed off with that as we had just given them 525$ for are stay
-Great breakfast, laaarge buffet. -Decent gym (excellent compared to standards around Cambodia/Thailand) -Very spacious pool area with friendly staff
WiFi is generally slow. It has it's moments but I struggled with photo upload. The separate wireless networks with browser login (that throws you out all the time should also be changed.
to access the WifI you had always lo gon again and very expensive mini bar
What isn't there to like here. The rooms are awesome, facilities are awesome such as great pool, wet and dry spa, gym and fantastic breakfast. The staff are all so polite and speak great english. They bend over backwards to assist you. Room had international plugs which was great. Prices of food are reasonable. Thank you for employing so many people within Siemreap and giving them the opportunity of a new life.
The price of everything in Cambodia is so high. Price of water in mini bar at 6 US dollars. Shameful in a country where you can not drink the tap water. Location is a little out of the city but not too far. While not the hotels fault, if you look at the bill there is in effect, 20% of taxes in that price we pay. Where does the government spend that money on the citizens of Cambodia? Maybe all the V8 land cruisers or Lexus. It's a 3rd world country and I couldn't see any of those taxes being put to good use in Siem Reap or PP.
Nice rooms. Good facilities. Good staff.
Very poor WiFi. Slow, patchy, constant drop outs, had to log on EVERY time at start up. Very frustrating. Not good enough for a hotel of this standard.
Chanthy Chhorn is the best.
Calm, not busy at all when we were there. Great gym. Huge gardens and grounds. Beautifully decorated at Xmas. Lovely breakfast Friendly and professional staff Free bus service (at certain times)
Bus service could have run all day rather than just for a few hours in the evening (but tuk tuks are always available if needs be). Pool was beautiful but felt like it had a lot of chlorine/chemicals in it. Would stay again though.
Pool Christmas lights show Hotel shop
Occasional lost communications between staff
Staff are so friendly! Able to hire a bike through hotel to make viewing sites very easy. Pool facilities excellent!
Internet average connection.
We had communicating rooms, which was very good with young children. Nice swimming pool for kids, with depths from shallow 0.75 m to adult 1.70 m.
Breakfast buffet was quite decent, although a bit more choice and variety would have been a plus.
international breakfast spread complimentary airport transfer Grand VIP welcome great facilities Good wifi excellent customer services no mosquitoes compared to nearby hotel (across street ) what you see in the pictures is what you get. pick up services from pub street at stipulated times
pricey tuk driver will ask more instead resonable usd 2 per trip
The staff, the location, the service, the spa....everything!!!
Nothing, everything was perfect
Their staff are extremely helpful
Location. Facilities. Price.
Closet space in the suite was too small.
