- Breakfast is a culinary disaster. - the staff did not know the city so it is better not ask for directions.
-nice design hotel. -front of the hotel all the time available tuk-tuk service. -nice small pool.
Staff was helpful, friendly, informed. It's a family hotel so details matter. A classic, garden-filled, quiet place that's well- located. Room size and amenities suited me. Breakfast was good too!
The staff was not really helpfull.
The swimmingpool was really nice. the breakfast was also very good. the manager gave us a lot of great advise.
Nicely appointed rooms. Pleasant staff, charming management. Beautiful gardens with a stunning pool area. Quiet and laid back
an oasis of calm and comfort near the centre of Siem Reap - very knowledgeable about connections and costs locally - just a great place
Bedroom was a bit dusty
Location was good, friendly helpful staff, pool was small but great to cool down. For the money a great little hotel
Not a thing!
Staff are super accommodating, and helpful!
Staff is very welcoming, room is quiet but still very close to city center busy area
I feel comfortable staying there
everything was perfect, a nice stay
Our family of five absolutely loved Auberge Mont Royal d'Angkor. Located in a surprisingly quiet corner near the very center of busy Siam Reap, the hotel has everything one need to visit stunning Angkor and enjoy the town. The hotel has a lovely, classic atmosphere, the rooms are tastefully furnished, the amount of beautiful flowers and vegetation everywhere is relaxing and, last but not least, the staff is impeccable and extremely helpful. At Auberge Mont Royal we enjoyed the best breakfasts of all those we had during our stay in Cambodia, so good that even the children were up at 5.30 am, in order not to miss breakfast before starting our visits to Angkor. When we were back in the afternoon it was great to know that we could dip in the hotel swimming pool. We will be happy to return
The wifi worked Ok, but broke down every once in a while Laundry was quite expensively in the hotel itself, so we went to a laundry service close by.
The Hotel is one of Siem Reaps older Hoteles which is nonoticed in the very professional staff. A little green Oasis with a nice pool. The Hotel is not next to the noisy Pub Street, but still in a walking distance to everything. There are also a lot of restaurants around in different price ranges. Breakfast was great. Staff at receptions speaks English and French.
Too loud due to funeral ceremony near this hotel.
- Breakfast (one morning I tasted pancakes, other fried eggs) tasted horrible. They also didn't bring any fruit the second day, although it's included in the breakfast. - Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, I desperately needed to buy airplane tickets, and it wasn't possible with that connection. They also can provide the air ticket booking service. Be aware because it comes with a surcharge of 40$. - I specifically asked to book me a car to the airport (which they provide according to their posters near reception), the staff on reception said yes, but they found a tuk-tuk instead and said no car was available, so I had to go and find a transfer to the airport myself and it costed twice less. So get ready to be treated as a cash cow.
The staff was extremely friendly and ready to help. This didn't prevent them however from booking me to a totally different tour as compared to what I expected and asked for. The agency was nice enough to change it later, though. The room and the pool were nice. The location is very pretty and cozy.
Need to keep hot water kettle in room (we had to ask - though we got on request)
Friendly staff Location
The staff was very helpful and tried to answer all of our questions or needs. The garden and pool section were an oasis et the city was right there at the door of the auberge.
No phone inside room and no left u have to use steps
WIFI sometimes a bit slow
Very nice garden with pool, excellent breakfast (which is served, some options to choose from), close to night market/city center (5-10min walk)
The staff is very helpful and attentive to detail Location is perfect (near Pub Street, Temples,...) Plenty of choice for breakfast, though simple, it's quite delicious They're organizing lots of excursions. Excellent price/value
The staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful house and rooms. The breakfast was fantastic and there is a small pool which was nice.
A worth paying hotel for a stay. Good staff cool enviroment great facilities and as a muslim, nothing to worry when it comes to breakfast. We love it! :)
Resturaunt not the best choice for dinner (it's fine, but there's better food in town). Great breakfast and boxed lunch, though.
Great place to stay in Siam Reap. Clean room and facilities, great air con and wifi, nice pool, and a lovely breakfast. The staff go out of their way to help; highly recommended. As other reviews mention, they are doing some minor renovations but we didn't even notice during our stay (no disruption of any of the facilities).
the wifi signal in my room (no.501) was very weak. I had to use it at the balcony. and there's limited option for the breakfast.
The room was so clean and comfortable, i like its boutique style. and shady trees around my room. The location is not too far from the pub street (just 10 minutest by foot)
The breakfast need to be improved
Good location, close to downtown,The basic facilities is good.
Lighting at night was very poor. I had to use the light on my cell phone to find my way on the path and up the stairs. The pool is nice but make sure the construction is finished if you think you might spend any time there. I was busy and didn't use it a lot but the 2 times I really just needed to relax by the pool and have a swim there was horrendous construction noise which drove me away and once also they decided to spray for mosquitoes so we had to vacate the pool area. I really felt that the middle of the day when people were using the pool was maybe not the best time to spray but maybe it was the only time they could do it.
Very convenient location. Just a few minutes from the night market and pub street and excellent restaurants. Sweet little pool. Gorgeous gardens which are really well tended. Really good food in the restaurant and the restaurant staff in particular extremely nice and helpful and chatty. I was on my own so it was really important to feel that people were friendly and interested. The restaurant is really small but adorable and there is a lovely double hammock. You can actually just lie there and sip your drink.
