Too loud due to funeral ceremony near this hotel.
The staff was extremely friendly and ready to help. This didn't prevent them however from booking me to a totally different tour as compared to what I expected and asked for. The agency was nice enough to change it later, though. The room and the pool were nice. The location is very pretty and cozy.
- Breakfast (one morning I tasted pancakes, other fried eggs) tasted horrible. They also didn't bring any fruit the second day, although it's included in the breakfast. - Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, I desperately needed to buy airplane tickets, and it wasn't possible with that connection. They also can provide the air ticket booking service. Be aware because it comes with a surcharge of 40$. - I specifically asked to book me a car to the airport (which they provide according to their posters near reception), the staff on reception said yes, but they found a tuk-tuk instead and said no car was available, so I had to go and find a transfer to the airport myself and it costed twice less. So get ready to be treated as a cash cow.
Friendly staff Location
Need to keep hot water kettle in room (we had to ask - though we got on request)
The staff was very helpful and tried to answer all of our questions or needs. The garden and pool section were an oasis et the city was right there at the door of the auberge.
No phone inside room and no left u have to use steps
Very nice garden with pool, excellent breakfast (which is served, some options to choose from), close to night market/city center (5-10min walk)
WIFI sometimes a bit slow
The staff is very helpful and attentive to detail Location is perfect (near Pub Street, Temples,...) Plenty of choice for breakfast, though simple, it's quite delicious They're organizing lots of excursions. Excellent price/value
The staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful house and rooms. The breakfast was fantastic and there is a small pool which was nice.
A worth paying hotel for a stay. Good staff cool enviroment great facilities and as a muslim, nothing to worry when it comes to breakfast. We love it! :)
Great place to stay in Siam Reap. Clean room and facilities, great air con and wifi, nice pool, and a lovely breakfast. The staff go out of their way to help; highly recommended. As other reviews mention, they are doing some minor renovations but we didn't even notice during our stay (no disruption of any of the facilities).
Resturaunt not the best choice for dinner (it's fine, but there's better food in town). Great breakfast and boxed lunch, though.
The room was so clean and comfortable, i like its boutique style. and shady trees around my room. The location is not too far from the pub street (just 10 minutest by foot)
the wifi signal in my room (no.501) was very weak. I had to use it at the balcony. and there's limited option for the breakfast.
Good location, close to downtown,The basic facilities is good.
The breakfast need to be improved
Very convenient location. Just a few minutes from the night market and pub street and excellent restaurants. Sweet little pool. Gorgeous gardens which are really well tended. Really good food in the restaurant and the restaurant staff in particular extremely nice and helpful and chatty. I was on my own so it was really important to feel that people were friendly and interested. The restaurant is really small but adorable and there is a lovely double hammock. You can actually just lie there and sip your drink.
Lighting at night was very poor. I had to use the light on my cell phone to find my way on the path and up the stairs. The pool is nice but make sure the construction is finished if you think you might spend any time there. I was busy and didn't use it a lot but the 2 times I really just needed to relax by the pool and have a swim there was horrendous construction noise which drove me away and once also they decided to spray for mosquitoes so we had to vacate the pool area. I really felt that the middle of the day when people were using the pool was maybe not the best time to spray but maybe it was the only time they could do it.
Building style, location, English speaking staff
1. staff - a lady at the counter was not friendly. 2. out of date information in the room - old price for any service in the hotel 3. we upgraded to a bigger room which was big mistake because she put us on the top floor facing the main road but that was not a big deal except it was extreme hot even at night time - small and old, out of date air-con, took several hours to cool the room down 4. old and small TV or fridge - TV is out of date, no English channel, fridge wasn't cold at all. They only turn it on when we walked in the room 5. Safe - advertise as laptop size, but only a half of our laptop, macbook air 13". The safe didn't work properly - locking system often fail 6. no hot water in the hand basin 7. no hair dryer - we had to borrow(booked a day in advance) from the front desk which was dangerously broken 8. our first night came back form sightseeing all day, the room was not clean - their housekeeper forgot daily cleaning in our room 9. wifi in room had weak signal - we were on third floor, tried to Skype with our son but we had to give up
You get what you pay. The breakfast is ok. Wifi is ok. The localization is good and in a quiet street but still very close to de pub street and night market.
The bathroom gets really wet and the water is not really warm. The tv was really old. But the hotel price is not high so you really get what you pay.
Near Old Market, more Restaurants & Massage near Hotel Big Room with King Size Bed Clean
Good location only short 10 minute walk to Pub St. Friendly helpful staff, ecxellent value
No real downsides
Location, relaxed environment and comfort. Value for money,
Facilities a bit tired
Amazing Orcahrds all around the hotel - this is a unique look for a hotel specially in this budget. Breakfast was VERY good, room was specious
Nos so new, small pool
Staff in the Dining Room were delightful. Very professional. Proximity to the main places of interest.
The staff at check in out appeared to try and ignore us . They were not helpful or welcoming. It became quite a game with us to see if any of the staff would talk to us.
-- This hotel has a character: an ancient colonial house, adapted, comfortable, quiet, nicely decorated. -- An oasis: all available space filled with green plants (and where no space available, pots with orchids hanging from the branches). -- Staff very friendly and attentive: feeling of being adopted into a family.
Restaurant menu relatively limited. (Though many other restaurants in the immediate proximity.)
The garden & plants were lush. The restaurant & lobby have a very relaxing ambience.
Our room did not look like the Deluxe room on the website. Our view was a brick wall. Lighting was minimal. We borrowed a torch light to read in the room. Very little hot water - hardly enough to last one person's shower.
Good location to pub street and night market.
Rooms were not clean and staff were less then friendly.
The location and the large rooms and quite hotel for a good sleep and relax, nice swimming pool.
breakfast is over 9:15 am !!!
Good breakfast und very friendly staff.
Room was very dark a view more lights would have been appreciated.
