Our first time in Siem Reap and we found a great place to stay. Avie Moriya has everything you need with a great/budget price. It's very near Pub Street and Night Market. All within walking distance. It's quiet and the breakfast is good. The room we stayed is spacious and clean. With clean towels and 50 over channels to choose from. A great way to relax and escape from the heat. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.

Lovely staff, very friendly and responsive. You can safely ask for help from the hotel workers, especially with guided tours to Angkor Wat and Angor-Tomb. We not so liked breakfast, not gorged on :)

Very nice and friendly host. Italian. Greeted us as their friends. The hotel staff are friendly and polite. The hotel itself is very nice and cozy. Our room was nice with a large room in the Cambodian style. Free WiFi, air conditioning, tv with lots of channels ... Located in a quiet location close to the The Night Market and The Bar Sreet. Breakfast to choose from. We ate delicious pancakes. Towels were changed every day. For us booked a taxi to the border with Thailand. For this service we would not have the extra money. The room is not very fresh, and needs repair. We understand that a cleaner come in 11 am. If you do not vacate the room by this time for cleaning, cleaning it will not, so you do not disturb. The first night, we discovered that the bed linen stale. It did not change after the other guests. It was unpleasant. But the owner of the hotel brought us clean linen without any problems. In the morning linen was change to another. Our room was a the extreme to exit the hotel. Throughout the night someone was smoking outdoors and the entire room was filled with the smell of smoke. It was unpleasant. No fridge in the room. Drinking water had to buy the hotel.

Amazing value for money. I took a luxury room, which was really nice. The only thing missing in my opinion is a safe box.

Staff, location, cleanliness The only thing is non-hotel related, the side road hotel is on gets quite dark at night with all the shops closed. There are some locals(and ladyboys) that will come around 11pm to midnight, watch out for them because they will try and rob/steal from you, I got my phone stolen from one of them. A piece of advice, dont walk back alone at night, just take a tuk tuk, its a dollar. Trust me, I've learned. But nothing to say against the Hotel. It was a great 5 day stay.

Clean hotel giving a homely environment within a short walking distance to city centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pillows provided are a bit too thick for comfort. Breakfast 'included' is lousy. Sounded great when booking. Standard menu everyday. One choice - just 2 slices of bread and coffee. Could provide an egg at least!

Location is brilliant (10 minutes walking to Pub Street) and 20 minutes by bicycle to Angkor Archeological Park, room is spacious & very clean (they clean it every day) and most importantly helpfull owner & staffs; very informative and they helped me to arrange bicycle rental, saved me a lot of time, they made things easy...no hassles. Price was very good (paid $68 for 4 nights). Will stay here again next time I visit Siem Reap. I had a good stay. Nothing disliked. :-)

The room was large with very tall ceilings, huge bed, beautiful colonial style and very clean. Internet was strong. Great shower. Staff was as friendly and helpful as could be. The location was suburb. Right by the river and three locks from where everything was happening. This felt like a villa, not a hotel. I recommend it highly and look forward to staying there again. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I loved staying there.

The room was huge and the beds very comfortable. There was no electricity in Siem Reap for the duration of our stay however as the rooms were so large and the ceilings so high the temperature was bearable in the room. The hotel was in a good location, about a five minute walk from Pub Street but in a quiet location. Nothing about the hotel although the minibus service we booked through them back to Bangkok was a disaster - took 13 hours and the bus crashed. I would advise getting to the bus station and taking the government bus to the border then the Thai Government bus from there rather than through the companies that run the minibuses.

The hotel was good value for money and it was a comfortable stay. The location is a 5 minute walk from the main dining and shopping areas. The best part was the very friendly owner and staff. They were incredibly helpful in facilitating all aspects of our visit. Nothing worth mentioning.

2 1/2 stars for Avie Moriya Villa. Friendly staff, good location, and value for money are the villa's good points. Should have been nice if the villa provides extra towels and bathroom items.

The owner is fantastic. Luca makes you feel like home at this great hotel. The location is perfect, it is a 5 minute walk from pub street but situated at a very quite location, so yu can relax very well. They make really good breakfast for a very affordable price, this place really has everything a young traveller can wish for. In our room the bathroom could have used a slight fixing of shelves and hooks as most of them were missing, but this is only a minor inconvenience.

Close to Pub Street, but far enough away to not be kept up all night from street noise/music. comfortable room - big bed! I'd stay here again. Friendly staff and proprietor. The shower drain and sink would would back up and flood the bathroom floor.

The hotel is very well located. Is behind the main street so is well communicated but also quiet away of the night noise (is close to the pub street and night market). The room was very big, with AC, and the place is nice. The owner is very nice. He get a tuktuk for us and also helped with the planing of out visit. Thanks for a great stay Luca! The breakfast isn't very expectacular, but is very cheap. Is ok like a quick breakfast but don't expect a full British breakfast for this price(is possible toy pay more and get a full breakfast).

It was a true pleasure to stay in the Avie Moriya because of great helpful owner Luka who helped us organize our visits to Angkor temples. Guesthouse has perfect location in a quite street but very close to the Pub Street and Old Market. They have hbo and other movie related channels so you have plenty to watch before going sleep :) We trully recommend stay in Luka's place!
