Score from 53 reviews Wonderful
Very friendly staff, good price, very close to Angkor.
Staff very helpfull and took good care of us, facilities were alright
If you're only for angkor wat, this place is excellent. very nice personal and the have a very cheap service for traveling the compound for 2 days. alos there is a very good and cheap restaurant at the front.
Location and friendly staff.
Too "spartan" to be labelled as "boutique". Breakfast is one choice and the same everyday. Had a room without any window on first night.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. Wifi was available throughout the entire building. Breakfast was delicious!
we've requested an airport pick up which, unfortunately, never happened (due to some miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel) but the staff made up for it through various kind gestures.
Cood location, friendly and helpfull staff, good value for money, would stay there again has a good tuk-tuk driver on hand
We couldn't see any spa
The tuk tuk driver, Theary, is super considerate, attentive, and great at his job, and very reasonably priced! I hired him every day I was there and would again! Nice family run business and manager/owner (?) seemed to care about comfort.
Not that clean and wifi was a little slow.
Breakfasts were awesome, hotel driver will help you with a Tuk Tuk to Angkor Wat, very kind people. The hotel staff is very kind, I think the kindest people we found in Cambodia.
very friendly staff, wonderful tuk-tuk driver TERI (ask for him if you stay there) - he gives standard -to-low prices and provides good quality of service. Very nice personality. Room in the hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, good wifi, OK breakfast. Its quiet (in difference if you stay in town)
1.we got really unlucky with bed bugs :((( the bathroom was full of them and i was eaten alive :( 2. they didn't meet us in the airport (i specially requested it in booking and sent email with flight details, i also got reply to this email that they will come) nobody came. But i have to say we got our room upgraded as compensation and good tuk-tuk driver. So it's kinda "forgiven" :) 3. there is no difference for prices to Angkor temples to go from city/airport or from there. Its not walkable anyway and tuk-tuk prices are same. So being closer on the map doesnt make actual difference.
The staff's hospitality made it a top notch place to stay in Siem Reap. I felt like I was at home.
The wi-fi connection seems not so stable.
Our experience was really a memorable one with the positive attitude, good service of all the extremely friendly staff truly makes the hotel seem like home. Being hospitable and attentive to every guest's concerns and worries, the hotel owner lays out how a 5 star service ought to be like. Easy to communicate with and efficient in problem solving! The hotel driver also boosted the atmosphere of the whole trip with a smile and a hearty laughter. Location of the hotel is ideal since it only takes about 9 minutes to get to Angkor Wat and less than 5 minutes to downtown Siem Reap.
Very kind & helpful.
Nothing. Everything is good.
excellent staff... good breakfast... decent rooms... great hospitality... the best among all the small budget hotels i have stayed in the whole world.... really worth its money... special thanks to mr.phirun and family and mr.fruit (phazha?-the tuk tuk driver)............... excellent keep up the good work.............
people around are kind n helpful
hot shower not unction no heater to boil water no hair dryer...nee to wash hair b4 bed coz too dusty outside.
My friend and I stayed at Putheavatei Boutique for 4 nights, and LOVED it! The location is perfect - between the town and Angkor Wat, the rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, the AC and WiFi worked great, the breakfast was amazing, but above all, Phirun and his family were so hospitable, so kind and wonderful. Phirun insisted on providing someone to wait for us at the bus drop-off spot, although I said that wasn’t necessary, since we weren’t sure of the time of the arrival. However, Phirun sent Naro, who was waiting for us, which was great, and we spent the following 3 days with Naro and his tuk-tuk, enjoying the Angkor Wat and more... He was reliable, always on time, and always both professional AND extremely friendly... perfect... I travel 4-5 times a year, have been to a number of places on five continents, stayed in hotels, big and small, inns, lodges, b&bs, guest houses, etc., but this was one of the best experiences ever. Phirun and his family are always smiling, and are genuinely happy if you are happy. They are caring and helpful and will go the extra mile to make your experience unforgettable. Do not think twice - go ahead and experience not only the beauty of Angkor Wat and Siem Reap, but also real hospitality and kindness of Camboadian people.
Great localization - between Siem Reap and Angkor. Very kind and helpfull manager. Breakfast, bikes, tuk-tuk, massage - everything can be arranged according to your suggestions for very good money.
friendly and helpfull staff; free Wi-Fi; free return transfer to and from the airport; minibar with free bottles of water; delicious omelette for breakfast; close to Angkor Wat and other temples; we asked for more blankets and some ice and we had it for free
a bit far from downtown (30 min by foot), but you can take a tuk-tuk (2 dollars) to the hotel
Friendly family operators and good breakfast
A bit out of town but the promised romork shuttle to t/from town was withdrawn "my boss didn't tell me and the internet is broken so I can't see"
A lovely family run the place
One of the tuk tuk drivers is great the other one tried to seriously take advantage of us so from that point on we found our own way around.
The try to do it but it is defenitely not their job
We got a room without a window, no curtain shower or buthtub, The room was not really clean and bathroom really smelt bad, one evening we got back and somebody has entered our room while we were out moving fornitures and our stuff without putting back, and when we have asked Who got in there they didnt even know Who was there and didnt even put everything back and clean, they just apologized and left. You can tell they really don't know what they are doing. Breakfast you only have two options, fried rice or omelettes, tea or coffe, thats it.
The Cleanliness, the positive aproach of people
1. Value for money rooms 2. Clean and tidy 3. Acceptable services for the price.
1. Location about 3 kms from town center. 2. Electricity cut-off three times in a single night. 3. Aircond to rooms was controlled by front office, and was accidently disconnected in the morning.
Far from down town
The staff was great. They are a family run hotel. Very kind and hospitable. Though far from touristy Pub Street, it was fairly easy to hire a tuktuk driver here to Angkor or down to Pub Street. We also had really cheap great food a few buildings down the street. 3$ for two people eating two dishes of stir frued noodles over an egg brought to you in a frying pan. Oh and the breakfast at the hotel is so good. We even woke up late and were still able to eat breakfast at noon. They went out of their way ti make ys comfortable. I almost felt a little guilty that their hospitality was earning them only 18$ a night. And they'll washed our clothes for free, but I tipped them. They just gave us a lot for the money. Hot showers. A/C. Finally a reliable wifi signal...I had to conduct some interviews over Skype.
No elevator, but not a problem for us, we pack pretty light. But note this in case you need one.
