Offerered and organised our transfers at a good price. It was a lovely place to rest after a busy week at Angkor. Staff were genuinely concerned when one of us was unwell. Have free transfer into the city and recommended tuk-tuk drivers for trips. We had Mr Lucky who was very enthusiastic in telling us about his country.
clean room beautiful scenery relaxing ambience
Lovely setting. Spacious, stylish room. Attractive clean pool. Delicious food. Helpful suggestions from personable friendly owners.
Absolutely no negatives on this accommodation. However, If we had a wish it would be for some serious breakfast muesli, but this is not a complaint.
The staff (helpful and friendly) The pool area was beautiful Easy to arrange trips and transports (to and away from the hotel)
Shower was a little weak and the wifi was patchy in the bungalow (I'm being very picky though!)
Helpfulness of the owners in providing transport to town, The food was excellent and with the drinks reasonably priced. The room was well appointed and gave an opportunity for relaxation and pool; and surrounds were excellent and well managed. Overall a great place to stay.
So much thought has gone into making the resort into a paradise oasis, from the beautiful butterfly filled gardens to the oil burners in the bedrooms. Wonderful touches to make your stay special. Equally as special are the staff, the owners were amazing.
Unfortunately we only had time in our schedule to stay for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Contemporary and tranquil - super room - loved the detail and minimal design. Brilliant pool -perfect for a swim Good food and excellent service All of our needs catered for- taxis booked and answers to any travel questions given promptly
Absolutely nothing - best to stay for a few nights to really unwind in a tranquil setting
An oasis in the midst of heat and chaos. Friendly helpful attentive staff. Superb clean facilities. Excellent breakfast. Best donuts my 10 year old had ever had. They just kept making her more. Yum. A little out of down. Good and bad. But they will organise times other than 315 and 6. To take you in. For $3. Awe will return. Tanks everyone
Everything was VERY satisfying! Lovely staff!!!
Beautiful pool with jacuzzi, amazing breakfasts (included), good food, really stunning setting, bicycles for your use for free, really beautiful rooms, peaceful, really friendly staff that always say hello, management staff take the time to welcome you and will go out of their way to help you. Really amazing stay
There was nothing I didn't like about the resort. Except that i couldn't stay longer
Staff, rooms, food, pool, friendliness, everything!
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was exceptional, probably the best we had in Cambodia. Loved the pool also.
The resort is out of Battambang itself, which is perhaps a good thing as there is not much there. Within 30 minutes of arriving Jan had ordered us a tuk tuk driver as we only had one afternoon there on our way to Phnom Penh from Siem Reap. Took us to the bamboo train and famous Phnom Sampou to see the temples, killing cave and bat cave. The resort would be a good stay for a couple of days if you were tempted out from Angor Wat.
The resort is feels like an oasis nestled in the country side and villages of Battambang. The staff are excellent, rooms are clean and modern, and the amenities are top notch.
Amazing lakeside villa. The food and service were excellent. Easily my favorite place I stayed in Cambodia.
Amazing place to relax and unwind from the busy roads of Cambodia.
Nothing. Magnificent place.
Lots of flowering plants and a wonderful pool.
The room was lovely, wifi excellent, staff so accommodating and helpful, the pool area was a true relaxers retreat. The food at the restaurant was really nice and affordable. Not having a TV was initially a surprise but made for a nice few days of conversation and reading. The tuk tuk shuttle was great but also the availability of one to use when we liked for only $3 each way. The location is remote and out of the city but it was awesome! You got to see true Cambodian farming on the same st and real life away from the town centre.
The bugs, but little they could do about them. The pool is available to locals and this made it busy and loud at times. The garden was quote overgrown.
The owner of the hotel is from Netherland and he immediately welcomed us. The staff was very friendly and we had a lot of chats with them. The rooms are excellent and the pool is very nice. we really enjoyed our two nights.
The resort looks much bigger in the picture than it really is. But nevertheless it was very comfortable.
Pretty much everything. The staff were charming, the resort was beautiful, the suggested excursions great fun and great value, especially the cycling tour of local food (although the duck egg is not for the squeamish). Would stay again and highly recommend.
The water pressure on the shower was very poor - only disappointment.
Paris was a wonderful, friendly and helpful host. We had a very nice relaxing 2 days between adventures!
The staff at all levels were exceptional and were always willing to provide us with information and answer our questions. They organised a tuk tuk driver to take us around town for the day, who was friendly and spoke good English. The staff also organised private taxi to get to Siem Reap at last minute (we stayed over Khmer New Year when drivers were limited) The resort also has free transport into town twice a day. Mosquito repellent provided in room - didn't need to use it. Loved the pool!
Comfortable king size bed, spacious "lake" room with great rain shower, friendly staff.
Not a TV person but the option of having one in the room would be nice. Loud music coming from nearby resort/village, lots of mosquitos around "lake" area, food at the restaurant was average, and shuttle service into town should be more frequent (only once a day at 1830 ...although the management did offer us a free pick up from the bus station upon arrival and a complimentary tuk tuk ride into town one evening).
The standard of the food was amazing- fine dining beside the pool each night! Excellent chef! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the pool was fabulous.
The music from the wedding next door which continued for 24 hours non stop- not the hotels fault at all but very annoying. The visa machine was not working at the hotel so we had to go to an ATM to pay the bill- just a minor nuisance tho, no big deal.
The location was just out of the madness of town and so was very quiet. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a beautiful meal by the pool side. The staff were more than helpful and pleasant. Im giving it 5 stars!
Nothing, it was all good.
