Lovely big room, great food, brilliant location - further away from the town and so fantastic for observing local life, great patio and alfresco restaurant - I spent a lot of time chilling out there, I loved everything about this place, the colonial feel of the building, the everyday life outside but most importantly the owners and the staff - amazing people. This was, by far, the best place I have stayed at on my travels. Thank you! I wish I could have stayed longer!
The owners of the guesthouse are always there checking that things work :) . They are also a valuable source of information regarding everything in Cambodia, and traveling to other places like Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. The guesthouse is great value for money!
Great location. Despite being away from the main city it was quiet and peaceful on an evening. Gemma and Tomin (sorry if I've gotten that wrong) were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for us. Local staff full of knowledge about the area. Bar was well stocked and cheap. Good breakfast, comfortable bed and all in all a more than pleasant experience.
We couldn't stay long enough because of work. Could have easily stayed for weeks.
- Away from the noise of the city center. - Close to Angkor Wat and the other temples; can visit them by bicycle! - Nice breakfast. - Friendly personnel and tuc-tuc driver.
- Stayed there for four nights. One the third day we asked to change our towels. If we hadn't, I am not sure when they would have changed them. - WiFi connectivity very poor; had to reset the router very often.
staff/ owner were very friendly close to the Angkor Wat temples nice atmosphere and good food
outside the city so we had to get a Tuk Tuk to go anywhere
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They are always wearing a smile and approachable. The location is about 10 mins from pub street, you can rent the bike from the hotel. The path to the center of the city is very direct. They served great breakfast and enjoyed the view at its rooftop bar. I was overwhelmed when the manage handled me an invoice and thank me for the stay.
The toilet facilities weren't the best that it can have. There was no knob on the door and the shower head was spoilt.
It was a wonderful experience staying at Firefly Guesthouse - The Berlin Angkor. The owners and staff are very polite and helpful. If I get an opportunity again I will definitely stay at Firefly Guesthouse - The Berlin Angkor.
Very friendly staff who are keenly interested in keeping the guests comfortable Value for Money Good fresh fruits for Breakfast Bicycle to rent
No telephone in the room to make or take calls Saw a cockroach in the room
Close to temples but a bit far from the town. Very nice and kind people at the reception, always very welcoming and smiling all the time. Cheap guesthouse compared to others. Food at the bar is cheap and excellent.
Far from the town. Lady at the rooftop bar never smiling and very cold.
I like the staffs, there were friendly enough and welcoming. Smiling and talking politely. The residential Tuk Tuk driver is also good and nice.
I guess I wasn't thinking when I booked as the location is far from Siem Reap town and finding a Tuk Tuk can be tough. But it's a quite place, away from the hustle and bustle of the town area.
Restaurant on rooftop was nice.
Room smells. Free water is only on the first day, not very common in SE-Asia.
stuff is friendly.
location is no good.
Place with potential, but when we wers there it was almost empty, terraceon the roof empty, Place is clean, breakfast decent, people friendly
But we felt that we overpaid for a tuktuk they organised, location is not a problem IF you don't mind taking a tuktuk every time. So somehow i feel there are Vetter places in this price rangę.
I like how they treat their guests as guests in the real sense of the word, not just transient customers. The place is very homey and the staff is very friendly. They will give you the best recommendations for the tours in and around the Angkor Wat complex with good value for money. Satisfaction truly guaranteed!
The wi-fi connection is a bit unstable at certain times of the day but it's just a minor thing.
Always happy and willing to help staff, that can organize everything you want - even a massage in your room ;) Cozy roof terrace bar is also a great advantage, as well as bikes for rent. Guesthouse is located really near to Angkor Wat.
Very friendly staff, big room, very clean, rooftop for having breakfast, cocktails, good laundry service, offering a wide range of half-day / day tours in siem reap / angkor wat
The hotel is a little bit dar to city and the staff is very inexperienced, them can help you well
nice people, good service and really good price
no fridge in the room but u can buy cold drinks at the reception
Nice, clean, good position to explore Angkor temples, stuff was so great and helpfull.
There are rooms without hot water. Be careful!!!
Staff very friendly and helpful Room large and very comfortable Location great for Angkor
Bicycles are Ok but could be better maintained
The owners were friendly and helpful. Close to Angkor Wat, with great prices on tips. Its in a quiet location, about $2 from the city center by tuk tuk. Nice bar on the roof. Drinks downstairs available 24h
everything was great. nice staff, clean big room with air-conditioning, and free breakfast. wifi works in the room perfectly and lots more.
Great place, location is perfect to get to Angkor. The rented bikes help poor children in Siem Reap. The staff is very friendly and professional. Timon cares about his customers in a very proactive way.
