For weirdness (in a good way) this place gets five stars. The lush gardens, ponds and courtyards are amazing, and all the gaudy decorations and statues make you feel like you are on a movie set for a Bollywood film. There were hardly any people staying there, and the very formal staff were all just waiting to serve you in the equally formal dining room. It seemed like a hotel fit for kings of a past era, that also had seen busier and better days.

The facilities, including the pool area, were a little run down and grungy. The food was just o.k.. The main reason why I would not recommend it is that it is a three star hotel with a four star price tag.

The quite but central location, the garden with plants and flowers

The breakfast. Fixed and not appealing menus and they cannot provide toasts

Really helpful with travel arrangements. Food was excellent. Very quiet by the pool. Right on the river

Cambodians don't really get the concept of refuse collection so consequently there tends to be a lot of rubbish in the street outside.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, breakfast OK. Rooms were lovely.

Be careful if you book a Tuk Tuk around temples to catch the sunset, you only get to go to four temples and if you (or your yuk yuk driver) finish the tour early, you miss the sunset (as we did). Go for the sunrise! We booked the trip via the hotel which is the only reason that i have mentioned it. I thought that the hotel staff could have mentioned the deal with the temples as we did specifically ask them to make sure we saw the sunset.

The hotel's exterior and gardens and pool were all really beautiful to say the least.

Room was small and I didn't feel safe as there wasn't a secure lock on the door.

Very pretty hotel with beautiful gardens in a very peaceful setting close to the river and only 10 mins walk to markets and town. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and let us stay and use their lovely pool all afternoon as we had an evening flight. Food was beautifully presented and our evening meal delicious. Wish we could have stayed a lot longer.

Nothing. The hotel was perfect for exploring Siem Reap and is in the prettiest part of the town.

The location is perfect, price is good, food is good, staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very local style which is very nice.

Internet signal was too weak to use in my room.

Excellent location - short walking distance from Pub Street and the night markets. Numerous superb restaurants near by. Lovely and relaxing pool area.

Rooms only ok. Could use an upgrade. Bathroom needs improvement as taking a shower floods the entire place.

Tranquil setting in perfect location. Excellent, courteous staff, most of whom spoke reasonable English. I couldn't recommend this lovely haven of peace more highly.

    Nothing at all!

Good location, 5 minutes' walk to the old market, 3 minutes to the post office on the other side. Attractive swimming pool, not big but clean. Very traditional decorations and many plants inside.

    1. No telephone in rooms. We walked through a long path to ask for a blanket in the hall. Very inconvenient; 2. Shabby beds. Hard and uneven mattresses with dirty pillows (lots of yellow stains). Blanket are thin and smelly; 3. No windows in the bathrooms. Bad ventilation and make people depressed; 4. A lot of mosquitoes and the mosquito curtain is unbelievably useless and filthy. Actually it is more like a decoration; 5. Breakfast tastes ok but the restaurant is short of something every morning. The day we went for Ankgor Wat sunrise, we got nothing but fruit in our takeaway package (no bread no boiled eggs). And the next day no dim sum.

The hotel area is a nice calm environment where one could retreat and relax between Seam Reap activities. Close (but not to close to the pub street area). Top level serviced. Clean, comfortable rooms.

pleasant atmosphere, beautiful garden, a few minutes walk from the old market yet very quiet

as we had to leave early morning, we had arranged breakfast packs, but when we checked out these had been forgotten and we had to wait 15 min. for them to be made.
