Borei Angkor Resort & SpaNo. 0369, Banteay Chas, Slorkram, Siem Reap (Show map) Wonderful, Score from 178 reviews“We stayed at borei angkor resort and spa during our visit to angkor wat. Staff were of excellent service to us, made us feel very special. Our room had great interior and khmer design and was spacious, nice view of the pool from our veranda, and we loved the buffet breakfast so much. And by the way, flower arrangement (bed & bath tub) on our last day was sweet! We loved it!”

The service from the staff - we were made to feel like we were friends and everyone helped to make our stay fantastic. The pool area and pool were excellent, and we liked the prices very much :-) We take away great memories of our stay at Borei Angkor :-) That said the night we tried to go to bed early, the noise carrying from the cheesy singer in the bar downstairs was a bit annoying.

We liked everything, from the facilities, service, staff and ambience of the Resort. I guess what stood out for us, was, The staff in their politeness, smile, patience and making you feel as if you were important. Nothing was ever too much for them and anything they did it was always with a smile. We treated ourselves to many massages and always felt so calm and relaxed afterwards. The patience and calmness of the staff certainly helped put us into relax mode. We will be back and will tell many people.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff - that go beyond the call of their duty to ensure guests are safe, comfortable and happy at all times. This is true of the restaurant staff, room service, front desk and all staff actually. Excellent, relaxing, clean surroundings and environment that allows you to fully enjoy the experience, including a great pool and local food options. This resort is highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay in Siem Reap.

The staff is just plain amazing. Everyone goes out of their way to help you. Maybe it was a little bit out of the way to visit the markets in Siem Reap, but anyway, it is just a 5 minute drive and taxis are extremely affordable in Cambodia, so shouldn't be a worry.

Hotel is situated in a good location for visiting Angkor wat and is close to the old town (lots of restaurants and bars). With free airport transfers Getting about theres always a tuk-tuk outside to take you into town (only 5mins) and only costs a couple of $$ Hotel is spacious, clean and pleasant. We used the the spa during our stay which was excellent and good value. hotel offers free wifi alway a bonus for uploading those fab temple pictures. Swimming pool is a good size and nice to dip after a days sightseeing staff were all very pleasant and helpful Reception has a shopping list for tours, driver and guides, all made very easy and well priced, we had a driver / guide for 2days they were great! We would all defiantly stay here again and happy to recommend to others

Initially, the reception did not take care of my requirement of a room with lift facilities as I have a mobility problem which was already mentioned at the time of booking. So I had to make do with climbing stairs for one day. The next day the hotel guys went out of the way to help. In fact, since it was our wedding anniversary, they wished us and also sent a cake to our room. That was very thoughtful of them. The mudita spa was excellent and facial, massage and hair treatment was excellent, in fact superb. Their tuktuk driver Mr. Sovann has left a indelible impression in my mind. Everybody in the hotel were well- mannered and affable. Would love to comeback again and stay here. Kudos to everybody there. Of course Cambodia is a beautiful place to visit - so much of culture and traditions.

Great hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, service and facilities are very good, as well as breakfast (included) and other meals. The rooms are very nice and spacious and the overall decoration of the hotel is in a kmer style. There's an outdoors swimming pool with a jacuzzi and a spa. They also offer all sorts of massages and beauty treatments which you have to pay for separately but at pretty good rates. Location is also quite good: 5-10m to Siem Reap city centre with a tuc-tuc ($2 us fixed rate), 15-20m to the Angkor temples with a tuc- tuc ($15 us for the whole day) and 20m to the airport (the hotel provided for a free shuttle service).

The overall efficiency and courtesy of all staff was excellent. The hotel atmosphere and relaxing ambience as well as the quality of all facilities was perfect. Stafff were also most helpful in arranging tour guide and driver to theAngkor Wat site and to the Cambodian Cultural Museum. Will certainly stay here again and recommend this Hotel to friends. No adverse comments at all.

The lobby, the spa, the pool, the restaurant, most of all the staff are just excellent. Initially, I was worried about the low score on the location when I first booked the hotel, but it turned out that whoever reviewed this hotel before didn't do justice to the reality at all. First of all, Siem Reap town is way too small be complained about, maybe so small that everywhere you stay (but make sure you stay in town) is walking distance. I tried to walk myself and it took me just 15 minutes to get to the river where all the hustles bustles are. Alternatively, take a tuk tuk for 1$ each person one way.

The very courteous, almost solicitous staff. Clean and comfortable room. Clean and very adequate bathroom. Nice, clean swimming pool. Good restaurant inside the hotel premises. Excellent breakfast. Easy-to-arrange tours to archeological sites and downtown shopping at the different markets. Excellent value for money in almost everything, from the hotel room and facilities, the restaurant and the transportation services. We were generally satisfied with everything.

My family and I have a privilege to travel to some contries in Europe, America and Asia. The last trip we had is to Siem Reap Cambodia; it was marvelous. We were surprised to see the temples, especially the Angkor Wat and the Bayon Temple. What I still have in my heart is the spectacular sunset, the Angkor Wat and its moat full of water surrounded by colorful trees I could see from the top of the Bakeng Mountain. Very nice view! I cannot forget the place where I stayed during my trip, the Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. We were offered a room on the third floor with a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and with the wooden floor and ceiling, the Landmark Room. Besides the natural view of the pool, it is convenient to enjoy the city view as nothing could be hidden from that height of the resort that is located in the city center. I really like it! Anyway, every staff that I encountered is very attentive and they served us with a smile from their heart. People in the lobby addressed us by name and the ones in the resort restaurant, the Borei Café?, remembered the drinks I like to have before and after my meals. Yes, the Spa “Mudita”, I took the Traditional Khmer massage, made me feel relaxed after a long day trip. Absolutely fabulous! I look forward to visiting Siem Reap and staying at the Borei Angkor Resort & Spa late this year.

The hotel is ran with a big focus on service. This is not only regarding the staff, who are very service orientated and friendly, but also the facilities offered reach a high level. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the restaurant offers a great breakfast and has a very nice menu for snacks and dinner. The poolarea is good and the hotelshop has a good selection on books about Cambodia (no copies!) With checking in we were offered an upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even nicer! If there is a next visit to Siem Reap, we will be back in this hotel.

The hotel is really amazing. Staff is really frendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is great, you can find really whatever you want. The position is a bit far from the city center. You need 5 minutes by tuk tuk to get to the center.

This is just an okay hotel for what you pay. The room is just big enough for two of us and it's clean. A bit far from the center (15 mins tuk-tuk ride, definitely not a walking distance). The laundry is super expensive compared to what you pay for a T-shirt at the market or $1 for 1kg laundry. The staff at the reception wasn't good enough. We wanted go to the lake and asked for the rate, but depends on who we talked, the price was different! Eventually we found a piece of paper in the room which said there was a fixed rate. Surprisingly enough, the staff was asking more that what was written on the paper.....sad....
