Friendly people, great accommodation, great tourist day trips.....New Year's Eve Dinner ..fantastic, had a great night...
The hotel and the staff are just magnificent. They greeted us with cool towels and delicious cold drinks. Such a lovely and welcoming staff. Place, location and facilities could not have been better- removed from loud street noises and walkable to lots of things. Loved it.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definately go back. The staff could not do enough for you. The breakfast was great. The pool and surrounding areas were nice with a variety of beds and seating. We stayed at the Tara Angkor last year and were disappointed in the unfriendly staff. Thank you, we will be back.
Staff: made us feel like royalty..immaculately clean...food beautiful...will definitely go back..highly recommended.
Nothing we could complain about..everything was perfect!
Spotless . Good food . Excellent service .
A recent trip to Siem Reap started with a very warm welcome at our hotel the Borei Angkor Resort and Spa. We were overwhelmed by the instant hospitality, smiles and courtesy afforded to us by elegantly attired staff. This attention continued throughout our 5 day/night stay. The hotel was always clean, warm and welcoming, and a pleasure to return to, after a long dusty day touring. One cannot emphasize the attention afforded to us by the ever present and diligent staff, that handled all our request with respect, patience and dignity, and always addressed us by name. Mr Bona, a manager, was as good as you could get in the hospitality industry, backed up by all his staff, and in particular Mr Vibol and Mr Thomas, who executed their duties most professionally.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, excellent choice of food. spa and sauna facilities were great at the end of the day after visiting the temples. Easy to catch tuk tuks to the main street for restaurants, shops and market, only a few dollars.
We were very impressed with this hotel. TheStaff very solicitous, helpful and efficient. Rooms were huge and elegantly decorated. The bed was so comfortable we had our best nights sleep in Cambodia. Pool area is lovely and the breakfast was excellent.
Difficult to find any real faults apart from the wi-fi was a bit flakey. Also on couple of mornings we were woken early (around 7) by really loud music being played in the lobby to welcome new arrivals. This was not very considerate for those like us with rooms overlooking this area.
The staff were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious such a large selection and excellent quality. The front of the hotel is very impressive and once you step inside it is so luxurious. The hotel room was a really good size and the bed was really comfy.
The staff were so accommodating and you were made welcome from pick up.the rooms were very comfortable.
Attention and helpfulness of the staff.
Nothing of any note.
Everything about the hotel was quality, original stay was going to be three nights which on arrival i extended to seven.Special mention has to go to Hak who showed me around the resort on arrival and looked after myself and my girlfriend for my stay, staff were all excellent though and i cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Fantastic value for money, the breakfast was outstanding.
Having to leave.
I like service and food. It is also very relaxing when we used sauna and Jacuzzi daytime. Breakfast is also awesome.
Wifi is not working well at a room.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The lobby is breathtaking.
While the woodwork in the room was beautiful, the room could have used some sprucing up.
The staff, each one of them (I truly mean each one we encountered) are well trained, so caring, provided us with great service. E.g. I made my mistake on arrival time for airport pick up. I called the hotel just about 2 hours before arrival, they adjusted the arrangement. One of the reasons for our visit to Siem Reap is to celebrate my birthday, and so kind of them to prepare a cake for me, a delicious one too I would say and the staff sang birthday songs for me too. I couldn't ask for more on my birthday. I would definitely stay there again.
great sence of smell when entry the staffs are all very nice and helpful great breakfast and good food in restaurant free pick up service from the airport would be my choice again if i revisit Siem Reap
i wish there is a lower pillow of choice ..
Great breakfast, helpful staff, bed was good enough, but don't expect it would be excellent.
Wifi is low, check carefully what you ordered through booking.com and what you get. The cost of lunch and dinner much higher then you may get in the city
Overall service - responsiveness to complaints
misleading pictures (deluxe rooms) on line - very poor wifi in rooms.
Room facing the city
The management was excellent!
Bathroom has mold and there were blood stains on the air conditioner control pad. Hotel needs a lot of upgrading, definitely not 5 stars by European standards... More like 3 stars with nice staff.
This hotel needs a lot of TLC. For $450 a night I expect a shower drain that actually drains. The rooms are worn. Service is horrible. This would barely be a 3 star hotel in the USA. Avoid it!
I was there for the 2nd time, this time with my fiancee. Although I was grounded due to a bad cold virtually the whole stay, it was perfect again. If we should come back again one day, then we'll definitely stay at the Borei Angkor!
The staff were so friendly, The bed was so comfortable, The spa was amazing, Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a large selection of sweet and savory, The gift shop next to the lobby is the perfect place to buy some gifts and souvenirs before you leave, The Cambodian dance show with dinner was such a lovely experience (the dinner wasn't that good though)
The bathroom in our bedroom looked like something from the 80s and not in a nice way, The gym was too small and there weren't enough equipment, Room service ends very early
The hotel lobby is very nice, and you feel the lemongrass scent as soon as you enter. I got a room facing the pool, which was nice. The breakfast was rich and nice. I also got a box breakfast for my sunset Angkor Wat trip.
The mattress was firm, could not sleep well. Massage is overpriced. Hotel lols like 4star+, but definitely not a 5 star.
