very nice rooms, great location, helpful staff, quiet rooms, great coffee
dirty sheets from previous guests (had been changed imediatly after claiming), very small breakfast
Room was clean Staff was good
Location is not good! Bed was bad!
Location, staff, interior decoration of hotel and the room.
Upon arrival we had dinner at the hotel. The quality of food was not impressive. Also, hotel provided extra bed for our son, that was not comfotable at all.
We loved the ambience and the fact that it is tucked away behind the street so very quiet and peaceful. Excellent value for money and staff are very helpful. We ate quite a few meals here and returned for our last night stay in Cambodia. We chose American breakfast which covered our requirements. Rooms are large and comfy with good bar fridge.
When we arrival Arts, the recepiton told us that the room is in construction casued rainy sean, they had upgrade our booking room and asked TUTU to send us to Royal, the other frangipani hotel. But when i go into the room, the ground had seepage water。。。
The environment is so cozy n comfortable. Staffs are helpful and polite. Very good service. Worth for the price.
Location - easy walking distance to the Royal Palace and Quay side. Spotlessly clean room, large size, excellent breakfast, great value for money
Some building work going on next door which was a bit noisy, staff were excellent although sometimes things were lost in translation
very helpful and friendly staff . great location and lovely atmosphere .
Service is good
Pool is too small. Room is too small too
I really enjoyed staying at Frangipani. Right at arrival at reception, I was given a welcome drink (which I needed). Check in was fuss free. I was o he top floor so I appreciated when they told me my luggage would be brought up to my room especially when they didn’t have a lift. The hotel is very centrally located and within a walking distance to everything you need: food, night life, markets etc. In fact, if I hadn’t been lazy to check the maps of where I wanted to go before jumping on the Tok Tok, I wouldn’t have spent a penny. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I travelled alone, but the times I spent in the courtyard having breakfast, lunch or dinner, I was never alone as the staff just come up to you to strike a conversations. They wanted to know more about where I came from and my experiences and in turn I learn all the local gossip and knowledge of where to go. My room was huge!! and very clean. It was cleaned daily, though I opted for my sheets and towel not to be changed daily. The restaurant has small but good selection of Khmer food as well as western dishes and the chef was very accommodating with off the menu requests. . Their breakfast menu is set but had a reasonable selection. For that amount of money, I was impressed with the service and quality and will book it again.
The location The staff Good value for money
Breakfast wasn't the best and they got our order wrong for everything thing: coffee instead of tea, ham instead of bacon, the wrong fruit, ... A bit noisy
I like how the staff are trying to make us feel comfortable during the stay.
Spacious, nice decor.
No door to bathroom just a curtain. No balcony. Weak aircon. I still didn't get back my booking deposit.
Buffet breakfast was awesome. Room was clean and artsy, nice bathroom with a nice bathtub. Easy tuk tuk transportation in front of the hotel, 3 USD to Central Market, Russian Market. Free bicycle rental, very good service! Mini mart next door, easy to buy snacks. Taxi from airport 9USD, tuk tuk to airport 7USD.
Ala Carte breakfast (day3), I personally feel the buffet breakfast was easier and better. No escalator, but I was on the first floor so it's not too bad. Hotel entrance signage too small, can't find the hotel at first. View from balcony wasn't that nice.
Very nicely done room; minimalistic. Good wifi. Good staff and helpful.
Water temperature tends from cold to very hot. No complimentary toothbrush. Breakfast selection a little weak. A/C is just a small unit Samsung air-conditioner; takes a long time for the room to be comfortable. Slow staff at check-in/out.
The hotel pre-authorises your credit / debit card, but instead of then confirming that authorisation, voids it and then resubmits the bill if your choose to pay by card (they conveniently forget to tell you this by the way because you will think all they are doing is confirming that pre-authorisation). You essentially pay twice for a room and their bank takes a minimum of three weeks to confirm the void action meaning you do not have access to your own funds. I've been waiting 4 weeks for the confirmation from Frangipani and despite contacting them on 4 occasions still have no money returned to my account. Will not be booking with them again and would venture it will be another month before my money is returned. Leisurely is the most appropriate description for their attention to this.
Large spacious rooms (we got a suite) with a balcony, clean, friendly staff. Great value for money.
The staff were super efficient, professional and friendly. The hotel and rooms were amazing! I love the deco of the polished concrete and rattan/wicket bed and the bathroom is so nicely designed. It really felt like a art room with a solid slab of rock as a bathtub. The tuk tuk driver that they have a liason with was so very friendly and kind hearted. The hotel was very serene and peaceful too. If I came back to PP, I would definitely say here again.
Although it was located on a main street, you had to walk into a little lane and the sign on the main street is not very obvious so it was a tad hard to fine. However, this also meant it was very quiet.
Super trendy location. Near riverside on quiet street, 2 blocks from National Museum. Many art galleries, Royal Fine Arts school, artisans, and next to two expat hangout bars, one gay. Nice tuk-tuk drivers. Staff has good English. Free Breakfast ok.
Free breakfast was same each day. Would be nice if they changed the buffet items occasionally.
Intimate sphere (WC) supposed to be separetad from living space. It's all in one, hear and smell everything happens in the bathroom. Breakfeast choice&quality to improve.
Hotel overbooked so we were upgraded to a suite for free. Constant hot water Excellent wifi Very friendly staff Awesome location
Breakfast was average but pleased us, more variety would go a long way here
Frankly not much, but breakfast OK and staff polite.
A lot of disturbance from religious music in a nearby building. Toilet seat broken and hot water irregular. I have no objection to a hotel barring prostitutes - I'm not interested anyway - but I was reminded by the receptionist of the rule at reception on arrival and there, given a written notice to the same effect and then found further notices on the same subject in the room - frankly over the top!
The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We love the layout and design of the room.
Breakfast was very limited. The exterior of the hotel looks like a budget hotel. Staff are not friendly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the location.
Good location near museum and palace. Open air breakfast is simple and served with a smile. (No espresso coffee though).
The hotel has a very small sign on street 178. It should be bigger. Taxis and visitors all go to the larger Frangipani hotel opposite the Royal University further down street 178. Staff don't seem to be aware of this problem. No lift. Engineer has to come to get hot water in the shower.
