The buffett catered to different nationalities and was very tasty. Pool area was great for a quiet beer or a chat with other guest. Lots of cool little areas to sit in and relax.Quiet area of town. The staff were great. We really enjoyed our stay here not too. far to walk into Pub Street area. Theres a very inexpensive restaurant across the street..Yum Yum Restaurant.. and it is good food for the nights you just can't be bothered .We enjoyed staying in this hotel Excellent. value for what we paid.

I loved the hotel and its feeling. The decor was relaxing but nice to look at too. The staff were exceptional; very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt relaxed and comfortable as a solo female traveller.Prices were reasonable. I would stay there again or in another Frangipani Hotel in another location.

The bathrooms could do with bigger baths.

Staff very helpful and friendly Breakfast buffet is great Massage is excellent Living room is huge and nicely organized with armchairs inside, outside

For several rooms windows are facing a wall with no light from outside. Very few with a view. Take away breakfast would be appreciated with enough to put on dry bread, and a plastic knife.

outstanding staff in every way. Friendly but not intrusive. Just all seemed very genuine. Also amazing breakfast made the stay in itself

rooms furnishings a little tired, but OK and still good value for money

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast spread was awesome. Good location within easy walking distance to restaurants and markets. Spa was excellent. Lovely pool. Staff went all out for a fun New Year's Eve party.

Initially given room where we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to. Moved to second floor after we complained. Hard mattresses which seem to be standard in SE Asia. Walls were dirty - whole place needs a paint job & upgrading. Almost left but in the end, glad we stayed. Service outweighed cosmetics.

pleasant swimming pool, well decorated lobby.

one villa does'not have elevator nor bath (only shower), but we paid same price $80/night as others. A little overpriced.

Was away from the noise of Pub Street. Had good facilities - spa, bar & pool (although shared by both hotels which are next to each other).

The two rooms we were given were completely different to the 'deluxe rooms with sitting room and view over front garden', as advertised. The rooms overlooked a building 1m away and a roof top. It had no sitting room. I was told we had been given a 'better room' with a balcony. It was old and tired and certainly a world away from the picture advertised on Despite numerous requests the hotel was unable to move us. At no point did they try to appease my disappointment. We were refused a late check, despite requesting it on just one of the rooms, even though both room keys did not move out of the key box for the remainder of the afternoon.

Was leading a school group, so the breakfast was a great way to get the group started for the day. Staff were always helpful and friendly and willing to help us develop our Khmer language skills. We had overbooked the number of rooms, but they quickly sorted things out and did not penalise us, which they were entitled to do under regulations. Location is great, within walking distance of the markets, and plenty of eating places in the street.

Are all hotel beds in Sth East Asia hard? Or do I need to toughen up?

Really good breakfast with a huge selection of food. Really nice rooms and pool area. The staff was "super" friendly. Not far from the hotel (on the right hand side) is a really small restaurant (looks like a garage), which serves the best amok ever. By the way: its also really cheap (approx. USD 2/meal)!

The pool is lovely but not really enough sun lounges. It is well located and has an abundance of tuk tuk outside. Nice and clean.

The left had villa is very old and in neat of a paint job and upgrade of the rooms. Check in staff not very efficient - when you arrive after a logn day travelling you don't need to be kept waiting while they sort out other people's bookings when they have already processed yours.

The location of the hotel was good and the room spacious. There is a nice pool at the back and the breakfasts were good.

The room which was booked was called a garden view room which was an extreme exaggeration as the main view was of the roof with some plants in the distance. We complained and were eventually given a pool view room which did have a view of the garden. The staff were friendly but not particularly efficient or providers of good information. Although the breakfasts were good we had an early start (sunrise at Ankor Wat) and the alternate picnic was disappointing (small orange juice, water 2 small bananas, a piece of cake and 2 pieces of bread)

All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly for the whole of our stay particularly Limm the guest liaison officer. It's great to have someone who understands and can speak very good English, a definite asset. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was great to come back to after a hot, busy day out. Excellent breakfasts. Great value for money. Short ride to market and city.

    Nothing to complain about.
