It must be one of the nicest hotel. As for the overnight for the backpacker Golden Mango is perfect: clean and spacious room, a lovely outdoor swimming-pool, simple but tasty breakfast, cheap and nice food, free coffee, free wifi, and most of all, very friendly and helpful staff who can arrange the pickup from the airport, trip around Angkor temples with tuktuk or car, etc. We spent three days there and really enjoyed our stay, even felt more comfortable than in some 5 star hotel as we later took in Combodia. The water in the swimmingpool is sometimes milky.

When the tuk tuk driver turned off the main road and headed down a small, alley-like street, I thought, "uh oh." But then he pulled up to a lush tropical paradise and lovely small hotel, the Golden Mango. We were greeted with a cold, wet, wintergreen(?) scented washcloth and a cup of cold mango juice -- just what we needed! Everyone is very kind and friendly and works hard to make sure every client has whatever he or she needs. The room was plenty big enough with cable tv, a refrigerator, and plenty of hot water. We each scheduled a two-hour oil massage for $22 each. After that, we were in no mood to face the frenzy of downtown Seam Riep and decided to eat at The Golden Mango. Other reviewers also rave about the service, but I was shocked no one mentioned the wonderful food at the restaurant! We were guilty of running off into downtown Siem Reap for first night, too. But our second day after the massages, we decided to stay put. We had a lovely meal in the lush tropical garden, serenaded by geckos. We had Ankor Khmer (a delicious fish curry), tiger prawn soup with fresh herbs, and sweet and sour pork. We also had six margaritas, a lime rickey, a singapore sling, and three tequila sunrises for $30! There's no reason to face the madness of downtown Siem Reap after a peaceful day at the temples when you can stay close to home for just as good! With the pool just steps away, who could ask for anything more! Nothing not to like!

Very helpful and welcoming staff Good swimming pool Quiet Meals available in the evenings Arranged very good Tuk Tuk driver Excellent value for money Small points/tips: Only 1 tap for wash basin (only able to get cool/warm water in basin, not hot water) Would be good if water for complimentary tea/coffee could be boiled as needed (not just hot)

The staff is very patient fridenly. TAK,The tuk-tuk driver, is very friendly. The pool only open in 7am to 7pm. So I can not swim after I visit outside all day and come back. I had not be informed that the tuk-tuk to the airport should be charge 4$ before.

Staff members were very courteous and absolute delights. The ambiance and general decor was charming and really bolstered the feelings of privacy (minus the soaring construction next door that's). Otherwise, the complimentary breakfasts were a nice touch, on top of the Tuk-Tuk rides to Pub Street. Location. Not too far removed from the main beat (free o/w Tuk-Tuk rides to Pub Street are thrown in the combat the distance) though there's nothing worth doing locally. Minor side note goes out to the ongoing construction happening next door - not too noisy, though quite noticeable. Obviously not the fault of Golden Mango, though something to be aware of over the next few months (with guests added in, less privacy from the east facing windows to be expected).

Excellent service, great pool, free pick-up from airport by tuk tuk, free wifi, free daily breakfast, ability to book trips & guides through the front desk and all within a couple minutes drive to Pub Street. The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is a little sketchy, but you could say that about most hotels in Siem Reap.

The staff is fantastic, they are always smiling and very keen on helping in any way possible. The rooms are clean and the food is good, breakfast was included in the already low price. Not so good accessibility for wheelchair: a few steps to the entrance, one step to the restaurant and for the pool. No elevator. Fortunately the staff were always very eager to help us. The staff is great but make only about 2$ a day. Be sure to tip them!!

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Grounds were small but very cute, well done, and cozy with the pool and fun sitting areas. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet as well. Free coffee and tea always available and decent breakfast included. While the staff was amazing, sometimes they were on Cambodian time with things so just be aware and don't be afraid to follow up about things.

Staff provide excellent service and their attitude is appreciated. Hotel provide free pick up service from airport and free one-way transport from hotel to town centre. Hotel location is little far away to centre (5 min driving time) but is ok. Room is clean. Breakfast is not varied but is ok. In overall, the hotel is value for money, espically for budget travellers.

Very nice guesthouse: rooms are quite big and clean, staff very helpful and always smiling, restaurant/breakfast are good...It's true that it is not in the city center but with bicycle it is only 10 min or with tuk tuk (free to go to center and only 2$ to come back to hotel), so the geographical situation is not really a problem... Do not hesitate, book Gloden Mango Inn if you stay to Siem Reap

Can only say great things about this hotel. If you don't mind staying a bit out of town this is the place to be. By tuk tuk you can be in town within 5 minutes. Exceptionally friendly staff, wonderful and spacious standard room, very nice breakfast and very pleasant swimming pool. Excellent overall value for money and me and my wife would not hesitate one second checking into this hotel again. To the staff: thanks again for the very pleasant stay! A little closer to the city perhaps but we really did not experience this as an issue at all. 5 minutes only and the hotel offeres a complimentary tuk tuk trip to town.

Everything is excellent. The Inn has a small but relaxing garden. The room is properly decorated and clean. What impresses me the most is the friendly and helpful staff. Very considerate and kind. You pay for two- star hotel price but get five-star quality of service. I enjoy my stay very much. It is around 3 kilometers to the city center and old market. However, it is not a problem to me at all since taking tuk-tuk is very convenient in Siem Reap.

Very friendly, hospitable staff. Always had a smile. Remembered names. Organised a lovely birthday cake surprise :) Beautiful exterior to hotel, lush trees and areas to sit Free tuk tuk to town to compensate for distance from central Siem Reap (but actually closer to Angkor) Knowledgeable drivers, a real pleasure. Offered good rates for day hire too. Limited areas to sit around pool (with sun!). Nice small pool though. Continuous construction noise did spoil the relaxing and peaceful ambiance of the hotel in general
