Great help in finding us a transportation, a tuktuk, for the 5:00 am trip to Angkor Wat. Also for the free pick up from the bus station. The room is big. Wish they had an intercom so guests would not need to come down 2 floors just to ask a question. The bathroom door squeek, disturbing in their sleep my companions everytime I use the bathroom. The bathroom did not have a place to hang the towel and clothes. The computers as well as the entire place at the 2nd floor were dusty. The computers are not functional.

The clean room and the early breakfast service(5:30), so we could start to the temples very early in the morning and could se the sunrise. Good value if you only took the room and don"t order some trips or bustickets. The tuktuk offered by the staff was complete incompetent. He lost us at the first stop so we had to walk for more than an hour and had to find a new TukTuk for coming back. The staff tries to sell tours and bustickets and we think the prices are to high.

The attention of our driver to go to the temples was exceptional I was quite disillusioned with the hotel, the information was false charged at booking, I had to change rooms because the room I had was full of moisture .. I had to pay more to switch to air conditioning because the hotel was very hot .. besides the information was all wrong .. claimed to have minibar, internet access throughout the hotel and did not have more things .. not recommend it.

The room was very spacious. There was a window to the outside. English speaking staff also available in the later evening (not night). Big refrigerator at the entrance with big selection of reasonably priced drinks. The water from the shower was smelling of metal. One of us got stomach problems and headache after the first day of being in the hotel. We think it was because of that water because we have been traveling for over 5 weeks throughh azia and had no problems at all till that point. The room without ac only has cold water. When you want hot water you have to get a room with ac (which means buy the ac remote for some dollars per night extra).

Also Ton La Sap lake the big lake ii Asia. After my tour in full day Home Sweet Home recruitment me to see Apsara Dancing Shows it was fantastic. Excellent hotel, the best one we've been to in Asia! The staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast very good. They have reception desk downstairs where you can book ticket to Saigon, Bangkok etc. They help us with the Tuk-Tuk to the main Angkor Wat temple area. We paid a reasonable price and more reliable than Tuk-Tuk outside the hotel, looked not trustworthy. Staff recommended other places E.G. Shooting range, The lake, Apsara dancing which was wonderful show, highly recommended. All in all a family friendly hotel.

During the stay in Home Sweet Home Guesthouse, the hotel staffs are all welcoming and friendly. The owner of the guesthouse pick us up himself on the first day give us a good first impression. We are traveling in group and due to the limited budget, we choose a guesthouse instead of a hotel with the swimming pool, spa, 5 star restaurant and etc. Although it was just a small guesthouse, the services provided by the staff are excellent and the basic facilities are completed and in good condition. The food provided by the restaurant just beside the guesthouse is delicious and with a fair price. As its name suggested, the guesthouse is like a home. We makes friends with the friendly hotel staff, the owner and some of the others stayed in the guesthouse. The driver of the hotel is punctual and fetch us to any place we want to go at anytime( we didn't miss out the golden time of sunrise and sunset). In short the guesthouse is excellent and I would choose this guesthouse again during the visit to Siem Reap. All the services provided by the staff is good and the basic facilities is complete and in good condition. However, the water supply from the water tap in some of the room is come with the smell of metal rust. But still, the guesthouse is highly recommended to those who looking for a trip that can makes friend and truly experiencing the lifestyle of the Cambodian.
