Nice hotel with friendly staff. My stay at Home Sweet Home was enjoyable and comfortable. Mr. Sovan, the hotel's management executive was extremely helpful and kind to help me with transport and tours arrangement and at very reasonable rates. The rooms were clean .and spacious and would be perfect with a little repairs on door latches, cupboard door catch. Staff are all friendly and courteous. For the price I paid, what I got was considered good! Would definitely stay again.

The staff were very friendly. I got sick at the end of my stay. They contacted a doctor for me, and when he needed me to have IV fluids the staff provided me with someone to stay at my side until my daughter was able to be with me. Because my daughter was staying there with her school group, the whole staff referred to me as mama. It was very sweet.

The staff of Home Sweet Home really help the hotel to live up to its namesake. They were friendly, supportive, and provided assistance wherever needed. Staff members were excellent citizen diplomats for Cambodia. The location to Ankor Wat was great, and the hotel staff will coordinate a good tour via Tuk Tuk. The street outside was relatively quiet. Food (for a fee) at the hotel restaurant was good. A delicious Hawaiian Pizza is right next door. * Hot water and ac not included in the price! Plan on spending an additional us$2-4 per night for these luxuries. * Water dispensed from the faucets had a harsh odor and a brown color. * Roosters outside the hotel wake guests up bright and early - cockadoodle-do! ;) * Hotel owner was a bit of a grump, but he had a nice wife and a cute baby!

The room was very spacious. There was a window to the outside. English speaking staff also available in the later evening (not night). Big refrigerator at the entrance with big selection of reasonably priced drinks. The water from the shower was smelling of metal. One of us got stomach problems and headache after the first day of being in the hotel. We think it was because of that water because we have been traveling for over 5 weeks throughh azia and had no problems at all till that point. The room without ac only has cold water. When you want hot water you have to get a room with ac (which means buy the ac remote for some dollars per night extra).

Some of the staff were friendly but unfortunately their understanding of English was limited. Thr room and bathroom were mouldy and stank terribly. The food in hotel was acceptable if overpriced again because of the language issues it was difficult to make the staff understand what I was ordering. In addition some things promised in the website were not provided and no explanation given when I asked the staff, such as tea/coffee facilities in room and free pick up/drop off at bus station.

Location and only location. The description on booking.com does not match the guesthouse, I.e breakfast is not included. The room we were suppose to have had water all over the floor (1st floor, so not due to flood) so we got the room next to, which had mould from floor to sealing. We only stayed 1 night and moved to the European guesthouse next to, which we can recommend. :)

The young girl at the reception was really sweet and kind and honest. She gave us the best tour options for a fair rate. The guide she booked us for Angkor wat was amazing!! The bathroom is a little user unfriendly had water leaking problems but we didn't bother to ask for a change of room. They charge 4% extra for credit card!!

Excellent hotel, the best one we've been to in Asia! The staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast very good. They have reception desk downstairs where you can book ticket to Saigon, Bangkok etc. They help us with the Tuk-Tuk to the main Angkor Wat temple area. We paid a reasonable price and more reliable than Tuk-Tuk outside the hotel, looked not trustworthy. Staff recommended other places E.G. Shooting range, The lake, Apsara dancing which was wonderful show, highly recommended. All in all a family friendly hotel.

During the stay in Home Sweet Home Guesthouse, the hotel staffs are all welcoming and friendly. The owner of the guesthouse pick us up himself on the first day give us a good first impression. We are traveling in group and due to the limited budget, we choose a guesthouse instead of a hotel with the swimming pool, spa, 5 star restaurant and etc. Although it was just a small guesthouse, the services provided by the staff are excellent and the basic facilities are completed and in good condition. The food provided by the restaurant just beside the guesthouse is delicious and with a fair price. As its name suggested, the guesthouse is like a home. We makes friends with the friendly hotel staff, the owner and some of the others stayed in the guesthouse. The driver of the hotel is punctual and fetch us to any place we want to go at anytime( we didn't miss out the golden time of sunrise and sunset). In short the guesthouse is excellent and I would choose this guesthouse again during the visit to Siem Reap. All the services provided by the staff is good and the basic facilities is complete and in good condition. However, the water supply from the water tap in some of the room is come with the smell of metal rust. But still, the guesthouse is highly recommended to those who looking for a trip that can makes friend and truly experiencing the lifestyle of the Cambodian.

It's excellent value for money. Our room was huge and very clean with a large balcony. It was cleaned every day (which is rare in budget hotels in sea). We had tonnes of English speaking tv channels, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast came with the room but there was only choice - baguette and jam.

The staff picked us up at the airport, which was a huge help. They were all very friendly and helpful... got us a tuk tuk for Angkor Wat, the restaurant was great and fairly priced. The rooms are a bit dated but are large and clean. You can't beat the price and location.

- No one to pick us up at bus station on arrival although we had notified them of our arrival beforehand. After two phone calls and waiting for half an hour, they showed up. - One of our rooms had not been cleaned on arrival. - Hot water did not work. When reporting problem to staff, they promised to come to look at it, but they never did. Eventually we figured out the problem ourselves. - Internet was on and off all the time.
