They have a good range of services and we loved the tuk tuk driver we used through the hotel. Everyday as we came back from the hotel, they had cold towels on a tray waiting for us, it was the most refreshing thing ever!
Holes in our sheets, bad tv service, generally the room was pretty run down and the breakfast wasnt very good.
We stayed at Jasmine Garden Villa for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful and had great charm which reflected Cambodia and its people. The staff at the hotel were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular we enjoyed the tuk tuk day tour service to the Angkor temples by our friendly driver Mr Tha Ma. Would definitely consider staying here again.
We booked 2 rooms with Aircon and mosquitos nets. When we arrived (late evening) we got 2 rooms with only aircon (switched off) without net and quite crowded of mosquitos. We pointed out that but they changed rooms just from the following night. We acctually found out they cut the mosquito nets to accomodate a light.... VERY USEFUL! Bathrooms and showers are pretty bad an one WC was not working at all
fast wifi clean and quiet stuff is very helpfull and friendly
water had a rusty flavor the furniture needs some renovation rooms are not that large, but the size is ok in general
The Staffs are so nice and very accomodating. I love yheir service and room ambiance.
The water smells like mud.
Very good location, next to the night market, pub street and local amenities. Great atmosphere and quiet rooms. Clean and tidy everywhere, rooms, restaurant, lobby, Garden,... If the hostel's rate is a 10, the staff deserves a 11!! They are great! We had a very warming welcome, not just the first day but also everyday of our stay. They always welcome us with the best of their smiles and with refreshing, wet towels (the best thing you can have after a long and hot walk in angkor temples). We had a reservation for one day but we extended it to a week. They provides you bycicles for free and a delicious breakfast. We have been travelling for a long term and in several countries and this place was one of the best stays, even the best taking into account the low price for a room.
The bycicles weren't the best but good enough to cycle the whole day in angkor area.
Friendly staff, they prepared the free bicycles for us at five in the morning so we could see sunrise at the temples. Free tuk tuk pickup at bus station. We arrived with the night bus early in the morning, and were greated with free breakfast and welcome drink. We could check in right away. After a long day at the temples they had minty cold towels ready for us. Rooms were big and very nice decorated. (Stayed in double room on second floor \w AC)
The staff here are really lovely and made us feel very welcome. We were picked up from the bus station and greeted with a lovely cool drink. Throughout our stay the staff were fantastic with organising a driver to take us around the temples. The location is great because it is a short walk to the main strip of shops, pub street etc. but far enough away that you don't feel like you are too close to the busy areas. Breakfast was pretty good. The best part was definitely the staff. I really enjoyed staying here.
The building itself is quite nice, but I do feel that the rooms are not quite as nice as they are portrayed in photos. They seem quite old. The main thing that brought this hotel down for me was the bathroom, as it was a single room with an electric shower, with no curtain/glass or anything to separate the shower from the rest of the room. So the entire bathroom got wet whenever we showered. Usually something like this wouldn't bother me too much as I am not a fussy traveller but it definitely would have been nice after being at the temples for 8 hours to be able to have a nice shower. Also, there was quite a difference between the services this hotel advertises and what they actually offer. For example they say they have a 24 hour restaurant and do laundry but they don't.
What a pleasant find. Staff very friendly and helpful, Room fine. Good location, In walking distance to city centre. Great price. I'll come back and thanks for the surprise departing present!!
The staff, the yard and the restaurant were very good. It was quite quiet except when the Brazilian restaurant across the street had samba dancing! It didn't last long though, and it was good music! Lots of greenery - was like an oasis in the city.
First room, the toilet didn't flush, and the fridge didn't work. Second room, the shower drain didn't drain. Once that got fixed, it was good. Internet was off and on.
The staffs were very friendly and helpful and whatever we need. In fact, we had to leave the city for a week and they were so nice to store our extra baggage without charging us a penny. Most hotel would charge you because they want the money, but not this one; they care more about their customer than making a few dollars. We were very pleased with them and will stay with them again when we go back. Van
None that I can think of.
Quiet location, breakfas was ok, very very kind staff, wellcome drink. Great value for the price. Gteat wifi
A little bit far from the center. The room was very clean when we arrived, but since then, it was not cleaned anymore.
The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We waited for the night bus and they let us have a shower even we were checked out.
- The asmostphere in villa is very relaxed and quiet. - Thanks a lot to Ms. Sophea who is always very helpful and supported us since we arrived until we left. (She didn't mind waiting for us at bus station in 3 hours and picked us up for free to villa in mid night). - I suggest should call tuk tuk from hotel. He was very honest and smiley. The outside tuk ktuk drivers always asked for more money after deal, tried to make more money from you and not helpful so much. - Staffs friendly and helpful, smiley. - The breakfast included was good.
- Should have more choices for breakfast (pancake, fruits,...)
The staff were very friendly
There were some items in our room that needed repair!
Staff are so nice and helpful,wi-fi is good, breakfast and two bottles of water are provided everyday. The room is not big but neat.
The price is not really cheap one, according to other local people, usually it will be 17-18 dollars, below $20.
Very friendly staff, clean room s, close to the town centre. comfortable and nice garden, cool and inviting.
Bathroom could have been better appointed.
Everybody of the staff was extremely kind and friendly and they always tried to help, even if this did often take long time. The location is quite good, in less than 10mins walk you are right in the centre of the town, but you are far enough from the noice.
The first night they gave us a twin room instead of a double room. The bed sheets were quite old and full of stains, even if we assumed they were clean. The bathroom was a bit run down. The bikes they offered us were without brakes, so we went to rent them just around the corner.
Near to Muslim restaurant and mosque. Easy to get halal food for Muslim. Near to laundry facilities. Free bike from hotel was so awesome! Cosy courtyard to relax after full day cycling.
Very low shower water pressure in the bathroom. Gloomy room.
A great location, you can walk to the night market and pub street (city centre) and on the way there are already travel agency's and nice restaurants. Comfortable rooms. Everything you need is there: wifi, airco (if you want) and the best service ever. We had the most warm welcome by the staff and hotelmanager Sophea. They made us feel like we had a home far away from home. Nothing was to much, and good breakfast! Easy to book the boat to Battambang with pick up, just at reception. And not to forget, for such a low price, it's the best place to stay in Siem Reap. A place and a stay I will never forget.
Maybe not the most modern and beautiful rooms, but enough comfort.
Staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating, but I suspect they don't have any clue what Western guests expect and how to respond when those expectations are not met.
Wifi only worked in the lobby, and even then was slow. Doors are left open in the lobby = no a/c Brownouts a/c intermittently did not work in my room, and staff did not address after repeated requests Lock for my room was broken- key kept getting stuck. Not addressed after shown to staff. Several brownouts during the day Bathroom was a Cambodian style bathroom with shower, sink and toilet in one small area, so everything got wet when showering. Very low water pressure in shower No hot water. Staff told me it is "solar" and depends on the sun that day. No soap/shampoo in the room for showers Did not clean the room daily. I suspect this is because I did not hang the "make up room" sign on the door. Bed was not comfortable, it was like a large foam pad.
