The charming OKAY Guesthouse offers comfortable accommodation with en suite bathrooms.
Score from 361 reviews Good
The hotel arranged tours of the temples for us. It was very reasonable price and helpful staff. Close enough to the center and free tuktuk beetween 6-7pm. We really enjoyed our stay at Khmer Cuisine.
English skill is not good enought. No good restaurants, shops around the hotel.
Wonderful helpful friendly staff who spoke good English, made onward travel bookings happily, bed was super comfortable with new white duvet and sheets. It was quiet at night, breakfast which was included was of a very high standard
I already phoned from PP and spent another night there on my way back to Thailand - same comments apply - I liked everything, and will visit again next month.
Very friendly and approachable staff, always patiently and attentively fulfilling every request and question.
Air-con is not strong enough. Lack of floor mat and disposable slippers as our shoes bring back dust and sand from outside.
Remarkable kindness Breakfast Wifi Air con Location Quite room Good price Pick up service
I feel like copying another post i read, everything was perfect. It was the best hotel we visited in Cambodia regarding the price and qualitie of service. Amasing staff even though some of them do not speak very well english Close enough to the center and free tuktuk beetween 6-7pm Happy hour on wine and cocktail Very clean Good local laundry We even had the air conditionning which wasn't included in our reservation Should figure in guides ...
The staff esp the people at the front desk are very kind and helpful! Our bus from bkk arrived late in siem reap and we were really worried that the staff that would pick us up would stop waiting and return to the hotel, but then our trusty, and very polite tuktuk driver, visoth ,was waiting the whole time! Even smiling when we arrived despite the heavy rain. The front desk people (i regret not taking their names) are very helpful, extending their ways just to give us a pleasurable stay. If ill come back ill most certainly book in khmer again :) i just regret not trying their resto, cos it was closed during our stay :(
The friendly staff and it was clean.
I was very confused when I arrived - what a difference between the place itself and the pictures in the internet. Not a vibrant and gourmet place as in their advertisement. Also the breakfast was very poor. The room was okay, simple and nothing special.
we loved the hospitality, the staff is really sweet, helpful, warm and cooperative. we loved the tuk-tuk arrangement- the airport pickup which was provided, the driver was really awesome. the hotel arranged tours of the temples for us, and they packed bfast for us for the early morning sunrise trip to angkor wat temple.very very reasonable price and great hospitality, helpful staff. great discounts if u wine and dine at the restaurant. clean rooms, spacious and decent. the trip arrangements by the hotel was also charged at reasonable prices. we really enjoyed our stay at Khmer Cuisine.
Price, 20% off food and drinks while we were there and it was delicious. Landry service arranged by the staff. Booked our bus tickets and picked them up for us. Free tuk tuk in to old market and just 2 dollars to get back.
Not a lot of things to do around the hotel, and no other good restaurants. But no need for it, eat at the hotel. Some of the front desk staff need to work on their English. At times we had to wait a day until someone else was around to answer our questions but everything still got done on time.
the english skill is not good enought, only one tuck tuck for all customer,it is unconfortable.it is not easy to call for tuck tuck
Place is easy access to town or Angkor Wat. It is in middle. Rooms are equipped with all the things which is value for money. When you dine in their cafe get discount 20%, which is good. Good internet access. Staff are excellent in their job.
Staff. Value. Quiet
Mosquitoes in room each day.
The staff were amazing! Food was wonderful
Air conditioning only worked well in certain rooms
20%discount for guests in the restaurant was nice. breakfast was good with lots of bread. restaurant staff was super sweet even giving my friend and I a small gift. very easy to find location on the river walkable to downtown in 20 mins.
Our room #05 was located next to the breezeway to the kitchen which was noisy in the mornings and around the closing time. One night cats had gotten into the kitchen and screeched and screamed. Although not under the hotels control, the room location didn't help. The room was also quite small with no room to put bags.
spacious room, staff doing their best to help guests, low price, very good AC, fast WiFi
awful sounds produced by a nearby restaurant or temple (4-6 hours non-stop), trouble with communicating staff in English, bathrooms need some remodeling, we had 'mosquitos problem' in the room. The breakfast is TINY (hard to belive that it can satisfy a child).
Staff were very courteous, accomodating and helpful. Wifi was very good. Rooms were very clean. Very good value
Breakfast choice is limited to two options of an American Style egg, bread, fruit, coffee or tea or a continental. Food is fine but would be nice to have one Asian option like noodle soup or noodles with egg. Not everyone can eat bread. This is not a complaint just a suggestion
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, hospitable, and they would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I have travelled to many countries and stayed in many guest houses and hotels, but Khmer Cuisine was a true standout! Their location is close enough to downtown, and the quiet riverfront property is perfect for a good night rest after visiting the temples.
Friendly and always smiling staff. ^^
The toilet tend to flood after you bathe.
It is really amazing to live here. All the staffs are warmly, everyday they talk with you about your day, let me feel stay at home. Their dishes also taste good. We stay there for 5 nights, we are enjoy and recommend to you. : )
We liked being a little north of the busy area of town, much quieter. The staff were genuinely nice and cared about our happiness, especially Hen, who was our. "go-to" person for everything, but everyone was great.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Super friendly n helpful staff made out stay a memorable one
Excellent place to stay at. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very delicious specially the red snapper with tamarind sauce. Cooking classes is a must, to lean how to cook fish amok
Nothing to complain
The staff are really, really nice. And they speak good English. Breakfast was good. There is a choice between Continental or American Breakfast. Not too much of a difference except the American breakfast has eggs and sausage. Wifi is fast. Room/bed is comfortable.
Helpfulness of the Staff Breakfast Angkor Wat
The toilet could have a new seat
The hotel staff is really supportive and helpful. The room was very clean and could accomodate the whole family.
Their breakfast system was poor and sluggish. Instead of a buffet, you have to select a choice in the menu. The portions were tiny. You will wait forever to refill a cup of coffee.
