The shower - low water pressure, impossible to adjust the temperature (either hot or cold)
Beautiful garden with pool, good breakfast
To go out, you'd better take Tuk-Tuk. Walking to Pub St. is not easy as it looks in the map because along the way is not looking nice and covered by city's dust. However, Tuk-Tuk is in full service all time here and only costs $1.00 to go to Pub St. If the hotel's Tuk-Tuk is not available, let the staff know and they will call a local one for you which I tried and being charged double to $2.00 to go to Pub St.
What I like most is that the greenness of this hotel keeps city's dust away. If you want some beer, don't buy it from Pub St., but buy from this hotel's nearby grocery stores. Big Angkor beer costs only $1.50 comparing to $2.00 when buying from convenient store in the city. Staffs are very friendly. The pool in the middle of this hotel is nice. The place is safe and clean.
The beds are extremely uncomfortable, very hard. Pillows are uncomfortable too. The room is way too dark - impossible to read anything with all lights on. The design is nice but minimalist. Not enough hangers in the bathroom. The pool is designed in a way that it is extremely difficult to walk around it, as there is not enough space between the beach chairs and the pool and planted trees. This resulted in one of the guests falling into a small pond (up to her knees) when trying to walk around the pool. So you have to be careful. The shower handle did not work properly and the water was flowing on the wall instead of the bathtub. Towels were stained. We could hear slamming doors every morning from 7am. Not sure whether these were guests or the staff, but there is something about the way the building is designed that when you are at the top floor you can hear the door of the ground floor rooms slam all the time. It usually woke us up.
Nice design of rooms. Swimming pool is great especially when you want to relax after long day at Angkor temples. Great buffet breakfast - plenty of choices, including fresh mango! Quite big room with a balcony. Wifi works well. Very nice and helpful staff, helped us book a restaurant with traditional Cambodian dance.
Very beautiful, well located, good breakfast. Value for money
The rooms are old and tired and the decor is completely out of date. The Wi Fi stopped working all of the time but i am not sure of that is normal in Siam Reap.
The staff were very helpful and the location was only five minute walk to Pub Street. The breakfast was of good quality. Loved the pool area
We felt very safe and well cared for. The staff is incredibly friendly and reliable. Thank u soo much for all your energy and efford.
Pillows were a bit big and uncomfortable with no other options in room
Fantastic pool area and great little restaurant
WiFi was a bit frustrating...it was on and off all day. The AC in the room is not powerful enough to cool the big room (outside temperature was almost 40°C).
Staff was great! They helped book our tours and were always available to seach for a tuk tuk to go into town. The tuk tuk ride takes 4 mins and cost 1 usd the way back late at night costs 2 usd. The pool was very nice considering the temperature was almost 40°C. Breakfast was very nice and we had lunch once in the hotel and it was also very good.
Fantastic staff and beautiful gardens made this a lovely place to stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
Some times the kindness of the staff was just "too much", but it is not a thing to complain...
Amaizing staff, amaizing enviroment, good price. The hotel is near to the night market, and the pub street. like 10 min walk, or less. Thank you for everithing!
This small hotel is a delight. A genuine, warm smile from all the staff, well-appointed room and comfortable bed, a pool to relax in after a hot day and a wonderful breakfast. I left my Visa card behind and they delivered it the followings day to Phnom Penh. Wow. How good was that!
Showers - very hard to control the temperature
Adjoining rooms for family
Cambodja has a double economy: one in Cambodian currency for the inhabitants and one for the tourist in US dollar. Not surprisingly the process in US dollar are not comparable with Cambodian riels.
Power kept cutting out which meant no water. No service around pool.
Location and the rooms were large and comfortable. Plenty of channels on the TV to relax to for an hour before bed.
The hot breakfast buffet section was often cold
Beautiful hidden away retreat which was well situated and very near the centre of Siem Reap. Staff were lovely and friendly, the pool was excellent and the room comfortable.
I couldn't get wifi in my room..
Friendly staff, very good English. Beautiful pool and the room was just gorgeous! Easy walking distance to old market and pub street!!
The pool area was quiet and peaceful especially after a hot day spent visiting temple sites. The staff in the restaurant spoke good English and were eager to help and efficient. The food generally was fine and there is free use of computers in the lobby area if needed. You can easily reach Pub Street etc in the middle of town within minutes. Anchor Wat is around a 15 minute trip of the hotel. Altogether a very relaxing and good value place.
Our tuk-tuk driver seemed to be a little bit annoyed when we didn't followed his suggestions about lunch during the temples tour
Kind personnel, walking distance to Pub Street, nice swimming pool
Staff was wonderful help with anything
The pool area is very small and we were not able to find a sunbed after lunch. The breakfast is ok, but with not so many choices for western tastes. And no espresso.
As expected, the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, had nicely decorated rooms and all amenities needed. All our rooms were on the ground floor, facing the pool garden and staying on the terrace was very pleasant.
spa needs some work, it's a narrow room with no atmosphere i had a massage and a facial - it wasn't a relaxing experience - had some bruising after the massage
Very nice, quiet hotel with helpful staff
The friendly staff. The beautiful pool.Tranquility.
Staff all very keen to help.
