Helpful staff and cosy environment.
Hot water was non existent. It is OK if you end the day early and shower. But not with a full day's program. Staff were helpful, but could do nothing about it. Pool could do with some moss removal.
Nice and clean room with a balcony towards the pool. Delicious breakfast a la carte. Very good value-for-money. Distance to the city is walkable or take a tuktuk for two dollar.
The hotel takes a large share of every tour or transportation (up to 50%). Better book in the city (here you also need to bargain though) and be informed about typical prices (e.g. Taxi to the boarder should be around 30$ or less, not 50$).
Our room was very spacious and came with a huge bath. The room was perfectly clean and the airco worked good. The staff was very service oriented and arranged for an airport pick-up, a tour to Angkor Wat with a private guide and a bus ticket to Phnom Penh. The pool was a nice bonus and the Wi-Fi signal was very good in all areas of the hotel. Four well deserved stars.
We booked a 'Garden View' room. This view was in fact a concrete wall with some flowers in front of it. No big deal, but don't expect too much. The hotel's neighbourhood is quite dark at night (no lights), so we prefered to take a tuk tuk to get to town (10 minutes - 2 USD).
The staff was amazing and very cool and kindly very talkative. And the room really confortable and charming.
Nice hotel. Not far from the center. About 15 minutes to pub street or night market on foot. Tasty breakfast.
The smiles from the staff.. Good attitude.
nice, relaxed and chic atmosphère throughout the hôtel, with dédicated staff.
maybe a little expénsive, but Siem Reap is not a cheap place anyway with those. Millions of tourists coming to visit Angkor from all over the world!
Comfortable stay lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful room over looking the pool.
There were to many ants
The Landing Hotel is a perfect choice for a romantic trip in Siem Reap. The structure is small and every service is easy to use for the guests. Every minute that you spend inside the hotel you will feel more relaxed than before. The rooms are big, clean and elegant, our room had a shower and a big bath. I read some review of other customers who complains about Wifi and Aircon but in our experience we can confirm that both services worked all of time very good. In the hotel there is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the quality of food is high but the prices are not cheap. Every tourist should to remember that if you are visiting the south east Asia pensare di paragonare the price of a meal here with the price of a meal in Europe or America is wrong because the costs of living here is different. We really appreciated the free service of shuttle from/to hotel-airport. The hotel plans escursions on the Temples area. At end, I would like to spend some words for the driver of tuk tuk who works with the hotel. We shared our trip with him from the start, when he have come to airport to pick up us till the end when he brought us to airport to back home. I would like to reccomend Rattol because is a good person, funny, available and very polite.
if I search something of negative about the hotel, I can say the location. The hotel is located not really close to the area of old market and pub street. I think is not a big concern because you can use tuk tuk to move and in 5 minutes you will be everywhere in Siem Reap.
Cosy and small hotel. Nice swimming pool and quiet surrounding.
Lovely quiet small hotel in delightfully quiet neighborhood a mere bike ride away from the town center
Facilities Breakfast Wi-fi
Staff could have been a little more helpful
Facilities Breakfast Wi-fi
Staff, while very friendly, wasn't overly helpful
The hotel was very nice. The room was big, clean and confortable. The restaurant and pool area although small were very well kept and you felt like in a tropical forest. The staff was very fiendly and helpful and spoke good English. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast (a la carte) were very good and surprisingly cheep.
The only down-side of the hotel was the location, far from the center and in an area our taxi driver advised to avoid walking through at night. But this didn't bother us so much since we went there only to visit Angkor Wat and the tour guide picked us up from and dropped us off at the hotel.
Very small and quiet, we were far enough from the centre of town to not be disturbed, but close enough to walk in 15 mins. The hotel's food was cheap but delicious. The open plan front to the building filled with plants and trees really enhanced relaxation. We didn't use the pool, but it was a very pleasant addition to the dining area. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The hotel arranged all drivers (tuk tuk and car) and fixed the prices so we were never cheated. The room was very big with excellent air conditioning and a large bath tub.
Food was far below standard.
It is a tucked away hotel. With lovely secluded pool. Only a 10 min walk from the center. Great staff really friendly and helpful.
Nothing. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
We had a couple of nice days there. Helpful staff, nice pool, good food and the hotel was only a 10 min walk from the centre. Good value for money.
I'd only say that the hotel should consider new bed linen and towels as most of them were a bit dated.
The service is great and also the meals!!! the breakfast and everything in the menu is simply amazing! our favourite: beef noodles!
- the extreme kindness of the staff - the location a little bit far away from the noisy city center (though just 10min walking) - the refinment of the decoration - the swimming pool, small but quite sufficient
maybe curtains that would cut the light would be better than those installed. nevertheless, if you go and visit the temples after 10am (what we unfortunatelly did), you will regret it so bitterly.... the overcrowed sites will prevent you from any connection with the magic and the beauty of the sites
Greeted well, guided by Mr Vuthy with map how to walk around town and inform us a cheaper apsara dance, Room is beautiful, breakfast is nice, I can order more if I want to, purposely open the kitchen early for our early breakfast, tuk tuk available even for whole day, cost us usd23 11 hrs at angkor wat with early sunrise, free bicycle available for whole day.
Tuk tuk price is a bit pricey. Other tuk tuk around charge lesser. We would be happier to pay more if we are treated more sincere. Rmb to confirm is a two way free airport transfer, if not will get charge usd6.
Room was big and clean.
The food was awful, very oily. Breakfast was not good. Some of the staff couldn't speak English. The kitchen is outside and once I saw a rat running from it. The hotel is a little bit far away from the center.
Big comfortable room, friendly, helpful and English speaking staff. Very good wifi connection.
A bit of distance to walk thru rough and uneven road surfaces to get to town. Not a major issue really as it takes about 15 mins to walk or pay USD2.00 for tuk tuk ride.
I loved staying at Point Landing! My room was spacious and very comfortable with a small patio. It's a new small boutique hotel with a lovely intimate garden space where you can dine and a pool area. The staff is very friendly and professional. It is located away from the busy part of Siem Reap but close enough to the Old Market to take a 5 minute ride by tuktuk. It's a great value for the price. I will definitely go back to next time I'm in Siem Reap.
There was nothing I did not like.
My wife and I stayed for two weeks at The Landing Point Hotel and enjoyed it thoroughly the staff were very attentive from the hotel reception to the cleaners and everyone in between and it would be unfair of me to one staff member over another they were all good. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable and well serviced. The breakfast cooked to order was excellent. The hotel is a little way out of town but is within walking distance during daylight hours but I would recommend a Tuk Tuk which is only $2.00 as the road is not very good to walk on.This hotel is very good for the price my only thing I would like to see is some sort of comfortable seating in the room there is only one chair which is a straight back chair and not very comfortable I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Seim Reap
