even the location is far away, but still very quiet and nice with pool and good environment. staff are nice service. breakfast has a lot of choices. and you can enjoy the good quality wifi every where, even outside area.
the beds are uncomfortable, and the whole villa is unstable, when some one is walking on the floor.
I enjoyed the location & accessibility to Siem Reap. Tuk tuks r always available & everyone is extremely friendly & helpful.
The staff were excellent
The roads to the hotel are not much fun on a tuk tuk. Take a taxi if you can
A truly tranquil place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Small friendly and very personal service. Perfect for us and two families with primary age kids loved it too.
It is a bit out from Siem Reap centre... 3-5$ each way in a tuktuk. We knew in advance and it was great for us and would certainly recommend it to others who are happy to be away from it all.
- far from city center
- bad food and very small quantity - bathroom not very clean - the place in general not very clean - staff did not understand English almost at all (only the very basic)
Quiet location, good facilities, friendly staff, good food
a bit bumpy access roaqd
Mosquito net was not functional. English skills were sometime not existent even at reception to certain times.
Perfect location for exploring Angkor Wat. Nice and peaceful in the afternoon to relax by the pool. A bit far from central Siem Reap, but a quick tuk-tuk drive away. The staff are very kind. We had an amazing very professional and polite tuk-tuk driver - Paul. (One of the hotel's resident drivers I believe), So we never felt unsafe in the dark bumpy road to the hotel and that was not a problem for us.
The rooms are a bit outdated. But the overall experience was very positive.
The hut is very comfortable and has table, chairs and hammocks under for lazing
The road leading to it is bumpy and very dark at night
Overall we loved our stay at palm village, the bungalows are beautiful and situated in tropical gardens. The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times. I also have a vegan friend who struggled to eat anywhere in Cambodia apart from at the palm village resort, where he had plenty of meals to choose from! The only slight issue was the distance from siem reap, which is only about 15mins on a tuk tuk which costs only 3 dollars a trip, however, many of the tuk tuks in town struggle to find the location. If you stick to the resorts tuk tuks who are happy to give you their number this isn't really an issue at all. Would recommend this resort to any type of traveller!!
It's a lovely place to relax but keep in mind the road is a bit bad.
Just the road to the hotel
The gardens. The food. The bungalow and outdoor deck
Construction noise Noisy group of Australian youth who stayed up drinking till well after midnight
This place was beautiful! So quiet & tucked away, it is the perfect place to relax! Still just a short tuk tuk ride to the temples, it has a friendly, welcoming staff who provided breakfast every morning (complimentary!) and arranged everything from transportation to bus tickets. The cabin was clean, large, and had decent Wifi, all a plus. The pool was big, the price was a bargain, and dinner was also cheap. Overall, SUCH a good pick for your money!
My cabin's bathroom had apparently just been finished, and was not entirely up to speed yet. The drain didn't work too well, but that was easily overlooked. This place IS a bit out of the way from the city center, but for anyone looking to get away from the crowds, this is a plus.
Very cormfortable bed. Great food at the resturant. Lovely staff.
Doing renovations at the moment will be finished in a few weeks 19.06.2014.
The location- out of town and a bit quieter. Also liked the fact it was a small resort with rustic accommodation. Swimming pool lovely. Value for money
Would have liked more towels, especially if using the pool. Tea/coffee making facilities would have been welcome, too.
It was a very peaceful place and secluded. I'm glad we didn't stay in one of the huge box hotels in the city. I would like to come back and spend more time.
The hotel environment is very comfortable and relaxed, suitable for vacation. And because the distance is near to Angkor Wat, then we can ride a bike to visit.Swimming pool is very beautiful, staff service attitude is very good, although their English is not good.
The bike rent needs to be improved
The Perfect Resort for holidays, friendly service crew and they have a excellent kitchen and massage!!!!!!!
Everything here blends with nature. Loved everything.
There are only few English speaking staff, though we managed, it would be better if they had more English speaking staff!!
Beautiful bungalow, amazing garden, good food, located near the way to Angkor Temples, bike rental
The staff is not always speaking english, quite expensive services, bar and restauant closing early, very far from city centre
All thing great, except the location, a little bit far from downtown.
Nice resort close to Angkor Wat. Cottage living. Staff helpful and even though we reached late night and only 1 person was there, he got us something to eat.
No telephone in the room.
quiet place, far from the pub street. If you want simple accommodation, nice, relax, quiet and good food here you have your place
just the receptionist speaks english....dinner takes ages
Very nice place, a bit remote from center, which is exactly what you are looking for after visiting the temples... Very good food as well!
the iternal hotel park enviroment - the restaurant food served well with homemade food
the location, obligatory to take a tuk tuk or motobike for reach to any places
