Staff is fabulous! Specially a girl called Srey Teut. She really helped us with organizing the trips to the temples. They hired a tuktuk driver for us that was very good (batman). Breakfast was very good, served by the pool. Room has lots of space, shower is good and bed is confortable. I`m sure they made everything that was possible to make our stay very pleasant!
breakfast is just declicious, tuk tuk driver eas very helpful and friendy, we really loved the stone bath on our balcony, location is nice, very close to night market and pub street but still peacefull, just in the morning is a bit noisy there are builing 3 hotels on the neighborhood
Room was not clean by my standards but looks like, this is what you get there (well not everywhere), but what bothered us the most were the mattress and the "child crib". Mattress has some small animals, just really hope they were not fleas, both kids were full of pixels, we thought they were mosquitoes, but they were not. And the crib, was an awful bed, smelled by urine ... well do not want to remember ...
Cute hotel. not far from the night market, there is a couple of nice cheap restaurants nearby. Perfect choice if you are planning to visit the temples.
The staff and tuktuk driver are very accommodating. The tuktuk service is a must-use.
Very big nice badtub which is outside. Breakfast which you have to order Private. Walking distance to pub street but far enough to avoid the noice
Only 2 small remarks: - The curtains don't block the sun too much. Since most of the people go on an early trip to avoid the heath during the day, it is not a huge problem. - There could be an additional light or a big candle on the terrace
- Friendly staff - Free Tuk-Tuk from the airport - Location close to the center - Swimming pool - Nice environment, very authentic!
- A bit expensive for Cambodia
size of the hotel suits my style of travel. As a solo traveller I want a small hotel where you can talk to the staff and be made to feel welcome. I had a wonderful time at Pippeli and should I return to Siem Reap they shall get my custom.
- amazing breakfast (no buffet but made to order, with a large variety to order from). I would stay again just for the breakfast alone! - good water pressure - free tuk-tuk pickup from the airport makes for a fun and unusual ride, if you account for all your luggage :) Ride back to the airport costs 5 USD. The same tuk-tuk driver was available to drive us around the temple complex the whole day for a reasonable price - good wifi quality - good location, steps away from the Art night market, and then just over the river to the Pub street and other night markets
- we had the room with the tub on the top floor - the interior showed signs of wear and tear. But the room was nevertheless very clean!
Staff Location Bathtub on balcony 24 Hour swimming Breakfast
Rooms need updating Building work next door
I really liked being picked up at the airport and the young man was very nice. When I got to my room they had they had done a nice welcome. ( will not tell you so you may enjoy it) All of the staff was very polite. The location was good and able to walk to the Old Market and other locations.
I did not get a warm feeling from the place. As a solo traveler I felt much more welcomed from other locations I stayed at. I feel the staff could have been more informative regarding locations I wanted to go to. One evening I really want to go to a certain restaurant and when I asked how to get there and they keep trying to get me to go to this other restaurant. I did find the restaurant and it was great. What I also found bother some was the staff sleeping on the lounge chairs by the pool over night. I guess they also work at security????
The tuk tuks
2 days in a row . We could not a second . Coffee. Sorry we have run out of milk . Only 4 people in guests in hotel encluding us . A shop where you could buy milk was 50 metres away.
Easy walk to pub St yet far enough away that you can get a good nights sleep. Staff were great always happy to help when ever required. We would love to stay at this hotel again if we went to Cambodia.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The place is a little haven to relax in amongst the bustling city. It's really clean and lovely but it is the staff that make this place so incredible - they were so friendly and so willing to help us, answer any questions, assist in any way and also just have a lovely chat to. Five star staff.
location and bed.
rood condtion. there was a dead cockroach and too many mosquitos. also, too loud because of construction near the hotel.
Everything went very well: free airport pick-up worked out well, excellent staff willing to help with any question (they booked our bus ticket to Phnom Penh, arranged a tuk tuk for a day to Angkor Wat,...), breakfast is awesome (definitely try their banana pancakes), rooms are spacious and clean, location is good (5 to 10 minute walk to Pub Street). Number of rooms is limited, so there's a very individual approach.
Nothing to dislike.
Manager and staff where very attentive, breakfast was delicious, easy access to pub street. Went to see four temples in the one day, hotel organised a tuk tuk, very reasonable priced. Spent one day relaxing at pool side water clean and spotless.i even had my own little balcony for privacy.
I liked everything ,
Small gem in Siem Reap! Great location and setting! Very comfortable room, fantastic staff, yummy breakfasts and lovely salt water pool! What's not to like?
This is definitely your first choice in Siem Reap if you are looking for a very private, quite, and pleasure stay with closed location to the old market and pub street. The owner and all the staff there are very kind and warmer. Their smiles from their heart make you feel like home. The room is big and fency, and the hot tub is such relaxing. Rich breakfast is very tasty. And you can choose to have it in the room or by the pool, or taking-out for sunrise at the Angkor Wat! Peppily definitely made my trip there more comfortable and beautiful!
friendly staff peaceful accommodation nice coffee
not proper meal for evening
The staff were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. The tuk-tuk driver, Aron, was very nice and willing to take us pretty much anywhere and also had good recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. Breakfast was also very good as the other restaurants in the nearby old market.
The only downsides were extremely minor. The pool had some bugs and sticks floating in it but that's not too unexpected for an outdoor pool. The rooms were a bit basic but well kept.
The staff were super friendly and knowledgable - I didn't have a bad meal in Cambodia with their recommendations. Thoughtfully designed rooms and a killer pool.
There were so many mosquitoes! Although the staff provided us with mosquito repellent and insect coils. The construction next door was a bit off putting but that was no fault of the hotel's.
I really enjoyed the peace and coolness of Pipelli Pensione - it was truly a lovely tranquil oasis from the heat and 'busyness' of everyday life. I also really enjoyed eating a tasty breakfast on my balcony each morning and having a chilled lemongrass towel on my return each day. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and my stay was a very special experience. Hence, I would definitely highly recommend Pipelli Pensione.
Good location. Near restaurants and pub street but in a quiet area. No buffet breakfast but good quantity and quality. Try their excelent french toasts!
Very noisy early in the morning. A new building is being under construction next door (July 2014). One day we arrived after lunch and they hadn't clean neither our room, nor the leftovers of the breakfast (served in the room). They tried to sell their tuk tuk tours around Angkor very agressively. Better compare somewhere else before. The hotel tuk tuk driver (who also helps out serving breakfast) looked repeteadly and indiscretely at my girlfriend.
Our stay was just fantastic ! Staff is simply amazing : friendly, helpful and available. Hotel is nice, small and clean, very family oriented which is extremely nice !
staff were lovely...
I was cooked a burger on my first day and after bringing me a half cooked burger I told them it wasn't done. They made me another burger which gave me food poisoning. I was sick for the whole day! Construction in the building next door made relaxing difficult. Sometimes it felt like they were drilling into our room. Not much choice for breakfast. Terrible Wi-fi
