There are some works going on just beside the hotel. I've got to leave my room and change accomodation as workers were right behind my window and started to work at 6:30am. shower didn't work and bathroom was dirty.
- location in the town centre
- notified on arrival of (planned) noisy construction works inside hotel - cleanliness: bed sheets and bathroom dirty - return of valuables stored at reception can take hours, oviously only the hotel manager has the necessary key and takes it with him when he leaves the hotel
Choice of breakfast. Really good location close to pub street. Super helpful staff. Very good value for money.
the kindness of the whole staf
guesthouse under construction; drilling at 8 o’clock... and many little things aggravating like asking to change a lamp and 5 days latter nothing downed...
Friendly staff, good location. Good value for money.
The bed was super comfy and big. Great location by shops and food and night market. Free bottles water and room makeup every day. Good cable tv with English channels. Fridge in the room to keep drinks and such. The included breakfast menu had very little selections but the food was good. They sent someone to pick us up from the airport at no additional cost. And they were very helpful arranging tour guides and tuktuk drivers.
Not clean at all, tons of ants everywhere! And hair on the shower wall and literally rotten toilet paper. We had to ask for fresh toilet paper and sheets with no stains, which they did promptly fix. The power kept shorting out and the lights would go off for extended periods of time. The AC was very weak and barely cooled the room enough to sleep. We came back from a horribly hot day and wanted to get cool but the AC was so weak, so we tried to take a cold shower but the water wouldn't get cold! Frustrating! But on the good side, the water was very hot for someone who wants a hot shower in the am. There was no lift and we were way up on the 4th floor. Annoying. And the halls were very dark. But the doorman did carry my bag up for me when we arrived.
good location, close to everything, friendly staff and good sized rooms
air con goes off when you leave so rooms are hot, shower was like a dribble and the tv didn't work at all, although don't really need a tv in that great location
Great location, so helpful and friendly staff. They were arrange our trip to Angkor Wat and reserve Taxi&Tuk-tuk. Room very clean and wifi so strong. Love to stay here again.
Location good value for money.
Location. 5min walk from markets, eateries, central tourist area. Quiet location, own cafe, Laundries opposite, 7/11 type store and beer garden 100m., Internet & printing. Good quality bedding and daily cleaning of rooms. Hot hotwater.
Some of the Tuk Tuks summoned by hotel staff could have been better.
Good location for Pub Street and night market
Booked room was not available on the first night of our stay. It was available on the second night.
Good budget hotel good just to get your head down was a backpackers hostel in the last few years now a hotel
No windows in rooms ,can be noisy
My Favourite Guesthouse in Siem Reap, I stay here every time, stayed here 5 times accumulating to about 2.5 months worth of time spent here, the staff are great the rooms are very big and have everything you need, toiletries, slippers, tv with cable channels, big ceiling fan, great service, no curfew, no problem bringing guests back, downstairs has now been refurbished giving it an even better look, stones throw away from the famous pub street and markets, literally a few minutes walk, local eateries located around the corner serving good cheap local food, great laundry service across the road too, you wont be dissapointed
wifi can be a little temperamental at times but this is Cambodia and just depends how many people using the wifi, its a big hotel just depends which floor you are on
A nice place away from the boisterous Pub St. yet within walking distance. The staff were courteous and friendly. The rooms spacious, clean and great hot showers! I enjoyed my stay at the hotel especially liked the restaurant hidden away on a terrace with its delicious breakfast.
Location Breakfast reasonable Cheap
Rude and unhelpful staff No lift as indicated but no offer of help with bags up 8 flights of stairs Shower consisted of a dribble of water
Lovely. Helpful staff, clean, spacious rooms, substantial breakfast and hot showers! What's not to like? Just far enough away from Pub Street to be quiet. The restaurant is very pretty too.
friendliness of staff. They went out of their way to help. Nice feel with the option of using the guesthouse or "boutique" hotel
All good. I would stay again
It has a great location, just a five minute walk to pub street. The beds were very comfortable.
Although the staff was friendly and helpful they were a bit clueless on many things. The restaurant was not very good. The water for the shower smelled like sewage but seemed clean. The internet cut out often.
Nice staff and great service.
Central location, easy to walk around the town center.
According to an ad "every room has a large window offering city view". My second floor view was totally blocked by a neighbouring building less than one meter away and no sunlight was able to enter the room. Room felt more like a jail prison.
staff were kind, cheerful & helpful room was attractive & well equipped fridge was a bonus restaurant was excellent - great food, low prices onward bus was arranged with pick up at hotel... very convenient
during a 5 night stay the internet was unreliable - often unavailable for 12 hours or more
the friendly staff, the fact that the place is close to night markets and pub street yet still quiet enough at night, has laundry shops nearby
the toilet is a bit old, and there is no kettle/ thermos in the room. Luckily we can get hot water from the restaurant upstairs for free
Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Relatively quiet. Great value for the money. Very good restaurant on site.
Dusty street. Lots of stairs to get to room. Had to change rooms because of leaky toilet.
It was conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the Pub Street & Night Market.
There wasn't the balcony overlooking the garden/river as promised. Poor command of English among the staff. Some staff were always looking to "help" provide overly expensive services & make the difference between the quoted & market price. Absence of illuminated signage at night made locating it after dark difficult. No mosquito & insect repellant devices in the room or common areas. Water heater's coolest warm water was too hot. Bathroom door's lock was spoilt. Only had a 12-inch TV & 1 dustbin. Numerous other cases of overpromising & undelivering.
The staff could not speak English very well. They also charged us extra by accident and took over 2 weeks to refund us the cash. I was disappointed because they promised us the refund the moment they realized their mistake. But '2 days' turned to 2 weeks. Staff were disorganized when it came to the rooms.
