The beautiful hotel in Siem Reap. This hotel is a "STANDOUT" from the time you enter the driveway you know you are in a quality hotel. Reception is a piece of art. The reception staff don't allow you to stand and check-in they insist you take a seat, bring you a welcome drink and do all the necessary paperwork whilst you are relaxing in their comfortable chairs. *The swimming pool is Olympic size and twins of deck chairs are surrounded by palm trees. *Breakfast is well presented. *Free Internet is a real bonus. *The restaurant food is AMAZING some of the best food I have ever had. (I RARELY EAT AT HOTELS DUE TO THEIR PRICE BUT THIS HOTEL WAS MORE COMPETITIVE THAT RESTAURANTS DOWNTOWN) * Size of the rooms are more than enough. *Each room has a SPA. *Over 80 channels of Cable TV If you just want to relax and unwind this is the PERFECT hotel to do it in. It is very quite and well spread out.

If you have the opportunity to stay at this hotel, do not pass it up! From the moment we arrived we were dazzled by the classic Asian/ French fusion style of this hotel. The pool was incredible, spa so affordable you'll want to spend every day there, and tour of Angkor wat that the staffs arranged are first class. Everything that you expect from a five star, the happy hour was awesome, spa staff expert and one of the few places you can get a western manicure in the east. Stay here if you have the chance. You won't regret it... And so cheap to boot!

Excellent helpful staff - we highly appreciated their support. The hotel has some disadvantages, but in general we are satisfied with our stay at Royal Angkor Probably expectations were too high... Spa is quite ordinary, breakfast is good, but no local asian food (we have enough sausages and bacon at home). And it is quite far from town center. Of course tuk tuk or complimentary shuttle is ok, but... In fact we have nothing to complain about, the hotel is good, especially for short visit to Siem Reap like we had (2 days)

I love the fact that the place is not too modern. It shows the originality of being in Cambodia. The service is terrific. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The location is close by to airport and also close by to the old market. It's very easy to reach. I do recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit Siem Reap.

The hotel staff and the welcome received made it very special. The management took pride in their work, and looking after the guest. The facilities descriped on the their website exceeded expectations. Five star hotel with values. Already planning a revisit! Loved it so much.

Royal Angkor Resort & Spa has the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel around the world, even compared to the most luxurious hotels. Very interested in you as a guest and really helpful. I can recommended this hotel if you are staying around Angkor Wat and your willing to spend 100$ a night, which is very reasonable for a 5* hotel. Our room had a great view and a jacuzzi/bathtub. Breakfast is perfect, western and asian dishes. You can take the shuttle bus to Siem Reap or a tuktuk. This hotel is nice and clam, you dont want to sit to close to the center of Siem Reap, because its very noisy.

Staffs very attentive. The free shutter to town is a plus. Don't try the spa. Lousy massage at high price. Toilet cover drop off the first day. Nothing was done until the last day. It would be nice if the shower is separated instead of shower in the bathtub especially when the waterdrainage is slow.

Breakfast is good. The room smells, floor is dirty, elevator is worn out and dirty, wooden floor is old and worn out, door has to be closed with force and a big bang. Very run down hotel. Glory is over, and still expensive.

Very nice hotel, Manager exceedingly helpful under difficult circumstances. All the room smelled. Basically all the rooms smelled mouldy - like they had been closed up in a humid environment and not aired for a week or two. This is a real problem for such a humid environment that has carpets on the floors. Even the presidential bungalow (which we were given at the same rate, and which has wooden floors - see helpful manager above) has the same problem. Essentially, this type of hotel need better anti-mould treatments or very high occupancy to avoid these problems. It was a major issue in our case as my other half has a super sensitive sense of smell, but even I noticed it and my smell sense is almost non-existant.

“We stayed at borei angkor resort and spa during our visit to angkor wat. Staff were of excellent service to us, made us feel very special. Our room had great interior and khmer design and was spacious, nice view of the pool from our veranda, and we loved the buffet breakfast so much. And by the way, flower arrangement (bed & bath tub) on our last day was sweet! We loved it!” Cristina, Manila |
