The value for money in all round terms
Hotel was excellent value and we felt very comfortable staying there. Staff were very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Breakfast buffet was amazing. All food was fresh and the choice was excellent. Would definitely stay at the Royal Crown again.
Nothing bad to comment on.
Massages Breakfast options Spacious rooms Courteous and helpful staff Lovely hotel Welcome drink on arrival Great room service
Actually I can't think of anything. It was all round great!
The hotel was beautiful and the pool a welcomed relief after a hot day of temple climbing. Breakfast buffet was second to none, as was the service. The location is just across the short bridge to "old town" where all the excitement is.
Courteous and helpful staff
Having only one lift which was down for 4 hrs and we had to climb all the way to 5th floor.
Rooms were lovely, great furnishings, very very clean, spacious Good service by all hotel staff Lovely rooftop bar with good food and drinks - nice sunset Good helpful front of hotel staff Good tour / tuk tuk arrangements made for us Nice pools - though we didn't use them!
Staff overall were courteous however I didn't feel it was overly genuine with the exception of the two young girls who were in the breakfast room every morning and who made a genuine effort to interact and have a laugh with my girlfriend.
Airconditioning wasn't great
Breakfast excellent. Location perfect and close to all main attractions in centre of Siem Reap. Staff helpful.
Beds very firm
Nice hotel felt it was a little expensive for what we got
First room we got had a terrible smell said this to reception and they brought up a can of air freshener and sprayed the room (which didn't do much) after a few hours smell was worse when at this point asked for a new room which they gave us. Also their was a lot of insects in the bathroom due to the window not closing properly.
everything except bathrooms
bathrooms are a bit dated..
Well located for easy access to township .
Poor bathroom facilities. Shower didn't drain well at all. Presented much better on web site. Tired looking.
Great location. 2 min walk to pub street. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.
That it's only 1 way pick up from the airport.
Good size rooms. Breakfast, good choices. Friendly and helpful staff.
Swiming pool & rooftop restaurant. Good breakfast.
Lots of lizard inside of the hotel ( it was in our room too) Felt a bit soulless And our phone charger misteriously dissappeared...
Nice hotel just across the bridge from the old market and pub street area. Spacious rooms to relax after a long day of exploring the temples of the Angkor Archeological Park. I booked my driver and guide through the hotel which is more expensive but with multiple visits you don't have to do everything via the hotel. Pool was a bit small but nice with all the sand and dust during the day (beginning of November was still ok with regard to the dust though). Food was alright and affordable, other services seemed too expensive.
Location is really. Its just a 5 minutes walk from pub street. Hotel itself and room are quite clean. Nice staffs, always welcoming guests.
Wifi connections is not so stable. We had to take a stair to 5th floor because Elevator is only available up to 4th floor. Check-in took quite some time.
Good hotel, well located and very convenient.
Noise from Air-cond.
Great rooftop bar, nice pools (although not really enough pool chairs), great vibe overall.
Odd to not have a bathroom door... whether with friends or family, bathroom privacy is a must for both the person in the bathroom and those outside of it!! The sliding glass partial panel does not quite handle the issue, as all noises can still be heard in the rest of the room.
We loved everything about this hotel. Buffet Breakfast included good variety, the room was very comfortable, the staff were lovely and helpful. The saltwater pool was an oasis after a day of exploring Angkor Wat and the other tombs. 5 minute walk (just across the river) to Pub Street and the markets and great restaurants.
That we had to leave!!
The staff is WONDERFUL as is the breakfast buffet. The location is great - two blocks from all the action of the center yet quiet for sleeping and relaxing. We're going back to Siem Reap in a couple of months and will definitely stay here again.
The beds are firm.
The hotel is located at walking distance from downtown (5minutes) The staff is really friendly, smily, and helpful, The simming pool is in free access 24h/day (even if the bar closes at 11pm), The rooftop bar is really nice, especially with this happy hour system of theirs at the end of the day, The breakfast is potentially huuuuge (if you feel like it) The room is clean, well equiped, and the shower really nice, The staff of the massage saloon is nice, skilled, and the price is cheap
The wifi connexion is fast but disconnects itself automatically after a few minutes of inactivity, I had asked for a queen-size bed, but got two twin beds, due to lack of availability, It's not essential, but having a fitness center would have made this hotel just perfect
The service of the staff was first class as was the guide (Jimmy) ,aka Mr Chem Hout, organised by the Hotel for our 3 day tour. We were close to everything but not in the noisy area.
Only that the road immediately outside needed work.
- good breakfast - location near night market but not in crowded center area.
- receptionist didnt support customer call the taxi driver - telephone cant call outside
The swimming pools. Quite small and all one depth, too deep for me also I didn't like the colour of the green pool, not very inviting.
Good breakfast. Rooms are clean and big.
The bathroom, although very well kept and clean, only had a frosted glass door to separate the WC/shower from the sink.
