The location is absolutely great, very close to the Victory Beach, which is very quiet and calm place.
The staff was not helpful and it was hard to communicate with them as their english was very poor. Our room (especially sheets) was dirty and smelled horribly. We were looking forward to the pool but it was under reconstruction...and due to the reconstruction the palce was very noisy...do not recommend
-the meals are expensive, change everytime in quality and taste and ... sometimes dangerous (old fish) -my Room for 10$ a night. big room, 2 beds but only one fan. not enough. very dark. only one small window. -wi-fi only good in the restaurant -mosquitos very aggressive at the restaurant/bar -at my room no possibility to mount a mosquito net (room height >3m) -no value for money. I´ve had better AND cheaper rooms in the past
Near of Victoria hill with a lot of bars, restaurant and petanque :) Really close of the beach which is pretty nice and calm ! Their menu is a little bit above in term of prices but the food is pretty good though.
Didn't really like it. When I arrived, the first had to clean the room. The area was under construction,so it was loud the whole time. The pool was also under construction,so I could't use it. it's to expensive for what it is...
Location is terrible- near local "red light" area. room was not cleaned for months. beds were hard. sheets were dirty. all with spider nets. we twice asked to clean the room, they just did some fit. we booked for 4 nights, but couldn't stay.. found another hotel in the center.
Hotel was low price for area and location generally ok and safe etc. We chose to pay more for air-con. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very basic, but for a low price that's to be expected.
Building work / new rooms in progress, so sadly it was basically a building site and noisy all daytime - but that's only short term. Pool also being refurbished - so not in use. Also room would benefit from fresh paint / new linen. But for the low price it's ok.
I like the sarroundings and area
Service and approtch of the staff is not attractive.
everything was good
no coments to make
The server in the restaurant ordered me two meals her mistake I am a single traveler, then charged me for both, after I told her I did not want it , also there was previous damage to the key light switch and when I checked out they tryed to put the blame on me, also they boast a pool for guests to swim in at their leisur and when I arrived I was empty! the prices would change from server to server in the bar, several times I had to show them the menu to get the correct price instead of them trying to rip me off the extra doller over all my experience there was terrible
I liked the facility of the TV and the staff were helpful.
The bedroom and bathroom were very basic and in quite poor condition.
the daytime staff and the excellent bar .also close to victory beach .just a short walk up the hill to the local bars etc. the beer at sakal is 65 cents about 40 pence! many ex. pats use it during the day.
the nighttime staff who only want to watch tv and use mobiles and computer. getting you a drink is like hard work to them. use the main block of rooms... dont use the bungalows they seem poor.
