Design, Atmosphere, Staff, quality
breakfast, location not too far but I cant walk to Old market and Pub street
I liked having a house of my own and especially the bed.
Excellent boutique hotel, delicious food, lovely pool and outstanding service.
great set-up, nice architecture, beautiful gardens Not a tourist factory like many other hotels in town
some rooms are a bit too close to the public areas
Beautiful and authentic recreation of Cambodian village in luxury style, very spacious rooms, service impeccable, wonderful breakfast, thoughtful bday cake for our baby boy.
Tonle sap fish great but some other dishes on dinner menu could be improved
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, one of the best we have stayed in. The staff were excellent, very efficient, warm and friendly, our departure flight was delayed and we were given a late check-out. Despite being a high-end hotel the price for food and drinks was very fair and not much more than a lot of places in the town. All meals were really nice, the front desk arranged our tours for us, the tour guide provided (Jack) was excellent. The lodges are beautiful, enjoyed sitting on the veranda in the evening. Ankor Wat and the other temples were incredible, also really enjoyed wandering the town itself and the different markets. A really great trip.
Having stayed 4 nights complimentary airport collection and drop-off would have been nice. There are not enough loungers at the pool. Just a suggestion but it would be great if there were some hammocks also. None of the above would stop me from returning or recommending this great hotel.
The location is excellent! Staff is friendly. The houses are beautiful and the atmosphere is lovely.
Staffs are very attentive. The breakfast is nice. The dinner is nice.
Construction noise of the other property nearby, but it is a minority.
Great lodge for our family of 5. Beautifully done out lodge with excellent bathroom facilities. Pool area was lovely - quiet and well maintained. Staff very friendly smiley and helpful. Cold towels and cold drinks much appreciated.
Beautiful setting. Very helpful staff
Everything! The people and their smiles! The infinity pool, the cool restaurant and the food, the attentive service, the beautiful and comfortable houses. The quiet atmosphere and the beautiful tropical garden! Everything!
Nothing!! We liked everything!
quietness and privacy.
Absolutely beautiful houses, great service, delicious breakfast. Fantastic pool after a hot day at the temples.
Nothing, it was all fabulous
Very beautiful and unique hotel. Food was a very high standard. Would really recommend.
Wonderful, unique concept. Wonderful staff and beautiful pool. Great restaurant priced moderately.
Air conditioning units did not seem to be powerful enough during the day. They did cool down the cabin at night.
very tasteful rooms / lofts. Nicely equipped, very laid- back, quite, just a perfect stay for people with an individual taste. Food very nice, breakfast - well, typical French...
wifi was poor in the lodges. Central area excellent though.
Beautifully designed tranquil haven. The mix of vernacular and contemporary detailing exquisite set in friendly tropical gardens with rice paddies at the door!
Nothing we did not like.
Beautiful resort ,original wooden houses from around Cambodia,in a lovely set up gardens ,with rice paddies ,pineapples and wonderful trees. Very nice restaurant with excellent chose of Khmer and western food. Stuff was excellent as well, ever so helpful :) We had great stay and will come back again. Alexandra
This is an amazingly beautiful place to rest far from the buzz of the city and siem reap. Incredibly friendly owners and staff. A must visit !
The staff were amazing, attention to detail was incredible. A lovely, relaxing stay.
Price for laundry was ridiculous
Enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff, location, lodges were all outstanding. We went to Siem Reap obviously for the sites. Sala Lodge was the icing on the cake. Definitely better than the many hotel choices available. Only small complaint was that the wi fi did not reach our lodge. Had to go to the restaurant where there were no issues. Made it a bit frustrating. Still an excellent stay!
Really cozy traditional house! Just love its whole atmosphere!
The lodges are amazing: beautiful (individual old wooden houses in cambodian style), comfortable and spacious. It feels like you are on a peaceful island with no TV but still wifi :-) The garden is very green with flowers, and there's quite a lot of space between the lodges. The facilities (restaurant and swimming pool) are great as weel: tasty food, great design. The services provided by the Lodge are various: tuc tuc, airport transfert, massages (either in the lodge or in the city center), jewels sales, etc. Finally, staff is very helpful, nice, smily and speak very good English. Note for French people that the Lodge manager is French :-) We had a great stay there and would highly recommend this place in Siem Reap !
The hotel is a bit out of the city center which makes you dependent on the hotel to catch a tuc-tuc for instance. But for the price of it and time to get there (10min to get to the old market for instance), it's not a big issue
This is an excellent spot to relax and appreciate Siem Reap away from the madness of the city, but still close enough to be able to explore the area. Staff is very friendly and the resort is gorgeous and clean. The monks chanting in the background add that magical touch!
Kids screaming at the pool area (we were there during the Chinese New Year when, apparently, a lot of expats go on holiday). Management needs to set some rules, like no jumping/ball games etc., and make sure that all their guests are able to fully enjoy their stay.
