I liked the location, the staff and the basic, but Todd facilities of the hotel.
The breakfast was repetitive, although nice.
Size of the bedroom was good and it was nice to have fridge, safe, hair dryer and kettle. Breakfast had the same offerings each day but it was fun to be creative and try different combinations. Enjoyed the pool but area small. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The worst part of the stay was the bathroom. Hot water but it was a poorly designed wet room. I did not appreciate the dirty grouting and having to paddle if I wanted to return to clean my teeth or use the toilet. This was a "delux" room! TV size of A4 sheet of paper and had to stand by it to change the channels.
It was very close by to the main streets and markets. Staff was friendly, but not everyone knew English. Good happy hours at the restaurant.
Some staff didn't know English. Many energy shortages and no power generator. Beds were too uncomfortable.
The fridge did not work and a terrible smell came out of it. We were in 2 differents bedroom with air conditioning and the heat was unbearable. Wifi doesn't work 23 hours a day. No elevator and lots of stairs. Insufficient and bad breakfast. Pool with green and dirty water.
Friendly staff Nice pool area Cheap and good restaurant Walking distance to pub street Extremely good compared to the price
Some mosquitoes at the pool area at night A bit too much chlorine in the pool
quiet location, pool, buffet breakfast
Rooms were a bit dark. No bedside lamps in room but one was supplied on request.
Staff were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was not varieties but test good. I loved the fried rice. The pool was a salted pool that's great! If you have planed to see sunrise in the morning you can tell the staff to prepare a breakfast box for you
A/c in the room was not ok. It was too hot than I expected. Luckily the room has a fan!
Big clean room (family room), great pool to cool down after a hot day, nice comfy lounge area to hang out in, free ride to and from airport and away from the night market and pub street so quiet but only a few minutes walk away. Tuk Tuk driver arranged for tour of Angkor was a safe, conscientious driver and we used him again to go to the floating village. Also, our flight out was at 11:00 pm and they let us hang out in the lounge area and use the pool while we waited. Excellent place - highly recommended.
Very minor stuff - breakfast wasn't good for a gluten free diet. English of most of the staff could be improved as they could not assist on information for anything but the basics - but they were all very polite and friendly. Frosted glass see through door on the bathroom door.
Good staff, very friendly. Good location.
Food, very poor Internet connection, owner's kids playing and screaming around.
Location was OK. Restaurant was nice. The staff were extremely polite.
Swimming pool as breakfast
Floor not so clean, toilet water drainage slow, toilet bowl stuck with toilet paper.
The pool, location, bar prices
Receptionists knowledge of english was poor. no shower walls, so when you showered, water splashed all over.
Great location only 5min walk from Main Street, very homely feel, great breakfast, bar and evening meal selection, fantastic small pool great after long day round Angkor Wat, very helpful and friendly staff, a little gem of a hotel. Also great collection from airport in Tuk Tuk!
On the first night we arrived we had 2 rooms very far apart, as a family with young children we wanted to be together, as the hotel was full they could not help but the next night they sorted out the problem, they were very apologetic and very good to sort out the problem
The staff, room, free breakfast.
the place where the guesthouse is located. (Some kind of residential houses) but its worth the price you pay.
Lovely place; I was staying somewhere else for almost the same price and wasn't happy at all, so decided to come here and what a difference. Lovely staff, great facilities for the price and had that extra touch. Been to Siem Reap a few times and this was by far the best accommodation I have been in town (for the price)
Great, easy place to stay. Nice location and very helpful staff. Great to have a pool to degrime after a day exploring. Nice simple breakfast to start the day.
Bathrooms in need of some repair but not a major issue.
You couldn't really ask for much more from a hotel of this price. When we arrived at the airport our tuk-tuk driver Ly was waiting for us with a sign and drove us back through the town to our hotel. The setting is tranquil and inviting and very Angkor-themed, the room is spacious, the staff are incredibly polite and friendly, - a mixture of good and average English speakers but all very helpful - the food and drinks are good and cheap, and the location is pretty handy. The pool is pretty good too - a bit small but great for a dip and a great setting. The only complaint would be the patchy internet reception, but you're in Cambodia - what do you expect?
the price and the comfort are remarkable!!!
only a tiny thing: the bathroom had no window.
Great property. Lovely private courtyard and clean pool, yet very close to all the action in town. Wonderful staff who were very friendly throughout our stay. Quiet. Recommended for travellers who want a peaceful place to stay. Not for party animals. Too nice
No tea/coffee facilities in the rooms Everything else was great!!
The hotel was in a good location-walking distance from Nightmarket, Pub Street.
The beds were not comfortable, sheets did not feel very clean, there were misquotes and other bugs in the room. Staff were nice but did not speak very much English-difficult to communicate.
I do not understand, why are you asking about Alam Citra Bed and Breakfast. We did not stay at Alam Citra. Tanei Guest House was very good and we would definitely recommend it to our relatives and friends. Staff was very co-operative, helpful. We did not face any problems whatsoever at Tanei.
The knowledge of English language of the staff was poor, however, it was compensated by their good behaviour.
Good staff, nice pool
the place is very much okay
the location is kinda located deep inside a village or the like, it seemed a little hard at first to locate
Staff were ver friendly and helpful. Food was very good and well priced along with the drinks. Two free bottles of water in the room every morning is a plus.
The staff were very helpful both at the reception as well at the food court. All the sight seeing details are available at the reception and the best part is that the reception provides you with a map for Angkor Wat and arranges Tuk Tuk on request.... :-)
