Location is ok. Close enough to everything. Cleanliness was good and if you leave very early in the morning, everything is just fine. Hot water, english tv channels, ensuite bathroom.. it's all there for a small price. And aircon is optional available.
Beware: No place for people who like to sleep! The building is integrated in a kindergarten/school.. some if the rooms seem to be under their gym.. resulting im stompeding kids and screaming infants all day from 8 in the morning till around 3p.m. the noise is ear trembeling and ear plugs wont help. Also, the energy cut off around 8a.m. and some rooms have no window, so you'll get dressed with the door open to have some light and propably no shower, or a cold one. Also you have to find out tbe hard way. Staff didn't mention it.
The guy on the front desk was lovely and really helpful, always helping us get a Tuk Tuk and asking where we were off to and where is good to go. The room was really clean and wifi was good. It was ten minutes to walk to city centre which was perfect as it was close enough to walk but far away enough for it not to be noisy at night :-)
We stayed in a room with no windows and it was so hot!! Too hot. We stayed there one night and then when there was a room available they moved us.
Location was good
The first night we stayed in a room with a fan and it was horrible. It is really too hot to not have A/C, even at night. The second day we opted for A/C, which made it better but there were still other things that made this stay unbearable. the water would not turn on, this happened two times. I had to go to the manager on both instances to turn on our water. The restroom is extremely small, and the door did not even close. There were ants and other bugs all over the room which is really annoying when you are trying to sleep and there are bugs crawling on to you.
great staff and very helpful with everything. five minutes walk to pubstreet etc. close to supermarket and always a tuktuk driving by. a bit loud with the school right next door, but we had the room right next to their balcony.
Cheap accommodation and fairly central location (a 20-ish minute walk from Pub Street). Room was clean when we arrived. Wifi worked although was speed was variable. Airport pickup was great and we used the same Tuk-Tuk driver for 3 days tour around Angkor Wat, who was very nice (although he didn't explain in advance that different itineraries had different prices to the original quote). Staff were helpful and booked a coach ticket for us.
Low water pressure and we had no water at all on a couple of occasions. Room wasn't cleaned at all during our 4 night stay so bin wasn't emptied, toilet paper wasn't replaced etc and we were only give complimentary bottled water on the first night. Electrics were hanging off in some places. School above is noisy from 7.15am onwards but we were always awake by then.
Friendly helpful staff.
This place was great! Great location less than 10 min walk from night market. Good wifi, basic comfortable rooms. Hot water. I only booked one night bc I've been stuck in some bad places before but when I tried to stay another night they were full :( I booked another place - more expensive. But that place had no water at all, not even cold. Not great wifi. They let me cancel and someone had cancelled at Thanak Thun so I went back. :)
Laundry was $1.50/kilo but down the street $1, so just walk it down a bit if your looking for the cheapest. Otherwise nothing. Great place!
Buny, the manager was a friendly guy and very helpful. he made sure we were given what we needed to make ourm stay comfortable. I would certainly recommend any future traveller to give this place a try. Personally I would give it a 9/10.
Forget what you read about the school above...if you are going to visit Angor Wat, you should be getting up early any way you lazy s..., and therefore miss the noise any way. Otherwise take some ear plugs with you and dose up on some Nytol. Perfect place and ideal for getting to wherever in Siem Reap.
free shower after checkout.
be changed to another room which has no window
Cable TV was provided and the Location ist (just) ok. They picked us up from the bus Station for free
The room had no window, it was quite dirty (Sheets, floor, bathroom) and it was very noisy. The fun doesn´t really work in the first night. Ok they fixed it, but it was a really bad fan. The room was stinky because there was no possibility to bring air in. They tried to overcharge us for tuk tuk Service. Although ist only 10 Dollar I would definityl NOT recommand this place to stay, not even for one night.
Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable beds, personal tuk tuk driver for 2 days, easy to organize trips to Ankor Wat, 20 min walk from center.
Bed sheets were a bit old/stained, walls are thin so can get noisy when sleeping
Staff very helpful
Noisy in Morning
Good location. Only a few mins walk from the centre of the city. Manager was a nice man.
There is a school right above the guesthouse and the noise is unbearable!!! We were meant to stay for 3 nights and checked out after 2. Our room also had no window and this was not stated when booking. The wifi was very very slow.
Staff and location were nice, the price very competitive.
The guesthouse shares a building with a school, second floor rooms very noisy in the mornings
Staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is more than fair.
If you want to sleep late during the week, you can t because of the school. And our room had no window.
Nice, helpfull manager; room was cleaned erveryday with new toilet paper, soap, conditioner, towels; very close to "all you need" but "far away" from noisy bars, etc.; good price, good service, good room; free pick up at bus stand...we would choose it again
there is a school over the guesthouse, so you get a "wake-up call" around 7h30 from the kids; but not to bad and the manager apologized, even it was not his fault
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Nice location.
Room without window. Pretty noisy during the day because of the school next door.
The manager is so nice, friendly, and helpful. Every day he tried to make an effort to reach out to me and offer me help in any way possible. He speaks English extremely well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My wardrobe had a lock and key so I could store my valuables. Room 112 is at the front of the building and has a nice big window to open up. The hotel was within walking distance of anything I could need. The tuktuk driver the manager arranged to pick me up at the airport and then tour me around Angkor for 3 days was very nice and always smiling even if his English wasn't great. Great value for the money.
The school next door can be a little noisy, but the manager did try to apologize for this even though it's not his fault.
The staff is very nice, they gave me a map of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat and always helped me out. It is only a 5 min walk to the Night Market and Pub Street. I think it is the best price/value ratio in Siem Reap for backpackers
There is a school on top of the guesthouse so it can be a little noisy in the morning
The place is reasonably quiet and clean. The manager Buni is super friendly and will help you out with all your enquiries
The school near the guesthouse can be noisy sometimes.
