Fantastic for visit to Kampot as short walk to riverside and restaurants. Lovely rooms and great staff, particularly Thavy on the desk who was always there with a smile. Good breakfast in nice cafe.

Very smart new renovated hotel set in a old villa, very friendly staff, located right in the centre of town.

Had a room at the back there was not much natural light.

Boutique hotel, central location 300 yards from river, bars and restaurants. Kampot is small quite town, relaxing not much to do outside of advertised trips independently or guided. This hotel was ideally placed, receptionist very helpful spoke good English and can make all arrangements for you. Western breakfast included eggs, bacon, baguette and fruit. Would recommend.

Be careful with shower could be temperamental and become very hot.

Modern hotel in a French colonial style. The manager was fantastically helpful on anything at any time. The hotel is very clean and tidy and run exceptionally well. Close walk to all facilities and restaurants. Free wifi. Definitely would stay there again next time.

This hotel was remodelled and quite new and does have some growing pains. There were lots of little things that needed attention but the good thing was that you only had to mention it and it was tended to. I would have liked to see the cleaning done a bit more carefully. There were area's that needed a good dusting and the bikes needed to be wiped down.

Only one month old hotel in french colonial style. Beautyfully designed, spacious rooms, nice atmosphere. Very helpfull receptioniste who speaks excellent english.

Helas, no garden, but a nice terras with plants in quiet street.

Clean rooms, well sized, all amenities included. Friendly owner and polite staff ready to help you anytime of the day, or night. Will definitely recommend it to a friend.

A little bit expensive for Kampot prices. But then again, this hotel was one of the few nice hotels in the town with western standards.

The Columns was a lovely hotel. Recently opened fully it is in an old French colonial house which has been restored beautifully and with considerable taste. The style is simple and yet very comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent particularly the homemade jam and yoghurt. The hotel is in a very quiet side street, we had a street side room but were not disturbed at all by any. Noise from outside. We thought it was one of the best places to stay in Kampot and would recommend it to friends.

There was nothing we did not like about the Columns.

Wenn Sie ein dunkles Zimmer lieben, das ein einziges rundes Fenster von 60cm Durchmesser auf Kniehöhe hat, dann müssen Sie unbedingt ein "Superior Doppelzimmer" buchen. Alternativ in dieser Kategorie verfügbar gibt es Zimmer mit einem normalen Fenster, jedoch mit Blick auf die 2m entfernte Backsteinmauer.

Ankunft um 10:30. Unser Zimmer erhalten wir erst 3 Stunden später, obwohl in dieser Zeit niemand ein- oder ausgecheckt hat. Unser anfänglich guter Eindruck ist verflogen. Das einfache Frühstück ist ok, doch unserem Wunsch nach einer zusätzlichen Tasse Kaffee und einem zusätzlichen Stück Butter wird eher widerwillig entsprochen.

Me ha gustado todo. Es un Hotel super agradable y tranquilo. Limpio y familiar.

L'établissement est bien mais très cher et même trop cher pour ses services. La route qui conduit à l'hôtel est très sombre et c'est insécurisant la nuit.

Hôtel confortable bien situé en centre ville , calme , personnel attentif et gentil. Très propre , hôtel de charme. À recommander. Kampot est une ville ou il n'y a pas grand chose à faire mais qui dégage une atmosphère intéressante .

Personal sehr gut, Frühstücksraum schön

Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist einfach nur schlecht. Das Zimmer sollte eher als "Standard Zimmer" angeboten werden aufgrund der schlechten Aussicht. Es riecht auch etwas streng wenn man das Zimmer aufmacht bzw. die Klimaanlage nutzt, da vor dem Zimmerfenster Unrat liegt. Dusche ist kaum zu nutzen da es auch nach zig Minuten nicht möglich ist die Temperatur zu regulieren. Das Wasser kommt entweder kochend heiß oder Eiskalt aus der Dusche. Schade denn die Dusche ist schön groß und der Duschkopf ist klasse. Die Preise für Cafe etc. sind extrem hoch insbesondere für Kambodscha!

Petit déjeuner copieux et excellent. Personnel charmant et attentif. Il y a des chambres sans fenêtre, alors attention lors de la réservation. Hôtel très calme.

In camera (superior with balcon - la più cara) fastidioso rumore di fondo probabilmente da condutture d'acqua o da impianto di condizionamento....chissà! L'acquisto di un libro alla reception con notevole differenza prezzo rispetto allo stesso visto in aeroporto.... Sciocchezze però
