Clean and comfortable. Friendly managers who went out of their way to help make my stay really good. relaxing terrace. thankyou!
Breakfast is a bit expensive.
We stayed here for one night. The place was easy to find and close to everything in the city. The owners can organize tours or tuc-tucker to the major attractions. The place is clean and the rooms comfortable.
A week or so before I arrived I received a welcome email from the hotel which gave loads of local advice and advised me about my pick up. I asked info about tours which was kindly answered. When I arrived Christian had paired me up with another solo female traveller who wanted the same tour which halved the cost for us. Over all it's a great place to stay located close to the action but far enough away not to be disturbed! Would highly recommend this fab guesthouse!
Chris helped us to avoid overpriced Tuktuk that we booked earlier. And he arranged another Tuktuk with reasonable price. The staff really helpful and the most important is they speak fluent English. There was also room cleaning everyday. The room is cheap. The location is great and very near to the old market. We love this hostel and definitely will go back there again if we visited Siem Reap.
The toilets and the room are not spectacular but it is very good for the price and really nice comparing to other places i've stayed in Cambodja, Thailand or Vietnam.
The owner and his wife were really helpfull, they helped with everything we needed, they gave us tips on where to go and what to do, helped when my sister got sick and needed medicine, etc. The bar/restaurant is very nice and cheap.
The owners are very nice, always to help a lot on anything either Siem Reap or Cambodia. I do highly recommend the Dancing Frog Hostel to anyone looking for nice place to stay. Thank you...
If you're looking to meet fellow travelers, this isn't the place for you. But it's a short walk away from Pub Street which made it okay. Also, the French owners aren't as fluent in English but they're welcoming anyhow.
It was on a special rate in booking.com so we paid really low rates. We had an airconditioned private which was spacious and was cleaned each night.
Its in the middle of the main shopping and night market district, close to many eateries and other shops. Was very clean and really cheap
Does not allow outside guests, have to sneak them in or lie
Close to pub street, staff helps with transportation.
Insects occasionally got into the room but the desk has spray which definitely helped.
The staff was absolutely wonderful and the hostel is walking distance from pub street and the night market. It was quite easy to get around. The room was nice as well.
the food is not suite for take out in the morning to see Angkor Wat, It's cold noodle and rice, the water is smell and taste like rust and there r some died cockroaches in room.
nice host, nice location near downtown, suit for low price
Unfortunately the staff was not very helpful at all. The husband was quite rude in the way he brushed you off without assisting in any useful way. His prices for a number of excursions was very overpriced.
The location was great, very central and the price was very cheap.
The owners, while accommodating, certainly aren't making any friends. We got some less than positive attitude upon check in from the male in charge and never felt really welcome.
The location was good and bad, good because it was convenient to all of central Siem Reap, but poor because it is loud even in the rooms. The bathroom had hinge hot shower and the room was a good siZe
Mary, Renook and Christian made our stay and because of this we overlooked the standard of the room. Great links with superb tuktuk drivers and tours.
The staff is extremely helpful. When my luggage is misplaced by AirAsia, the owners did everything they could to comfort me during my stay and did all the formalities in order to retrieve my luggage. If it weren't for them, I would have been lost almost all my items and money. If I were to visit Cambodia again, I will look for them in the first place.
1. Mosquitos. On the 2nd day solved it by swithcing on the fan. 2. Not hostel fault. Tap water smelled abit rusty. Just use bottled water for brushing teeth. Nothing big. Would stay again if I'm ever at Siem Reap
Located 400m from the popular pub street, night market, phsar chas. Close by without the noise. Really. Basic room with AC, hot shower, tv, towels provided. Great place for those on a tight budget. Dining is optional but many eateries nearby which offer cheaper prices but the food was quite good but higher priced.
Toilet roll wasn't provided on our first night.
the only thing that bothered us was the water in room 108 .It seems that the plumbing orcthe water tank was a bit rusty.
the owners , Christian and Maryyconne was the most hospitable a d understanding hosts we have ever met...the booking was seamless even thought we booked almost the same day as our stay, the rates were very reasinable and the food was excellent and the servings were abundant. We are not really beer drinkers but my wife Venus and I found their very cold draft beer really refreshing after a day of walking and hunting for photographs. The price online and in the real world matched .Althought not as luxurious as the first hotel we booked into, entering thei rooms immediately made us at home..with hot water, aircon, cable and fast Wifi. The service and facilities were more than what we expected.
the bathroom is very dirty as the water could not drain properly, the people of the hostel only come to repair on the last day of our stay one hour before we check-out; the light is so strong and disturb our sleep as we could not switch off the light during sleeping time; and the cleaner did not supply enough clean towel and toilet paper on the last day of our stay.
A few Mosquitos in the room, but we got rid of them
Lovely French couple own the place, excellent food, friendly staff, went out of their way to make me comfortable as I was ill. Really close to everything. Would stay there again.
They came to clean my room at 12 p.m, but I was sleaping, so the cleaning didn't happen at all during the 2 days. But I didn't mind, actually.
The owners are French and there are very nice. I had a single room for 10 dollars, that's amazing! A Clean, quiet place. It is suated a little far from the cafes and bars, but only 5 minutes walk :) First I was a bit upset that a live not at the heart of the city, but when I saw how noisy it was I got really glad. The night life there is strong, yeap :) The night market is very close.
Rude staff, ants in the bathroom, noisy area, only one bed sheet provided, poor breakfast (eggs undercooked and sausage resembled one of those cheap canned hotdogs.) Avoid
location and reasonable rate.
If you want to change rooms then make sure Monsieur enters it into the computer system...... or he will forget and that could cause a bit of a headache !! Also, for the same reason as above... remind him if you asked him to arrange bus tickets or by the time the tickets are booked you get a bad seat towards the back of the bus ! Our room 03 was a little dirty and so many little things were broken in room/shower which didn't stop us but is still disappointing when you consider there are westerners running the place .
French lady and Khmer staff nice. Good food and dining / bar area clean. Location is great.
The water from tabs in the bahtroom taste like a rust. I don't know whether this is a city's problem or hotel's
It's very close to the old market and the staff was really helpful. Also, they clean the rooms everyday.
1. the owner is too sophisticated. high price for tuktuk. 2. bath is not very convenient.
1. good location, not far away from night market. 2. good connecting of wifi 3. pillow is better than average level. 4. in opposite side, there is a travel agent, you can find Paul and for a good price to outer circuit by Lexus.
