I like specially the very helpful and cooperate with every one. The Owner very present and taking care about daily aspects. Very good.
Location; free Wifi and free airport transfer
The room was not well cleaned, dirty linen, the toilet has an infiltration and smell very bad, no hot water.
Location. That's all!!!
It's not boutique! It's muddy. Dirty linen and towels, bad smelling in toilet. Don't stay here! 25$ per night is a good price but your comfort costs more!
Excellent location. Near the Night-Market and Pub Street. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Very kind people, always helping you. Comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool. Excellent restaurant and food. I'll definitely reccomend King Boutique.
Clean rooms. Provide a pool. Packed the breakfast to take it with us.
Bad reception of wifi
Room was nice and spacious. The view was good, too. Location was perfect and allowed us to save money by being able to walk to the markets instead of having to get a tuk-tuk. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very happy and helpful.
The breakfast was Khmer only and sometimes covered in ants. We forgot our shampoo and the hotel didn't offer extra amenities except for soap. The price was too much for just a plain guesthouse. It was always very not in the lobby, they need AC.
Great value for money. Excellent location - close to pub street, lots of shops&cafes around Breakfast is okay Swimming pool is present. Not that you will want to use it while in Siem Reap, but if you do you will likely to be the only one so it will be fully at your disposal. Wi-fi is working and working fine. They help to arrange tuk-tuk drivers & guides for the daily Ankgor trips, and the driver price looks fair.
They will not pick you up at the airport! They offer free airport pick-ups but you have to request for it and they do their best to IGNORE your request. I specified that I want to be picked up and my flight details in the reservation, I wrote them THREE times in total (2 emails, 1 request through the hotel's website), but all my requests were ignored, and needless to say no one came to pick me up. Transfer to airport for your return flight costs $4 as they said at the reception desk. Also be ready for often electricity cut-offs. This is common for the city, so the hotel is not any different from others, but one of the power surges killed my laptop charger so remember to unplug your devices when they're fully charged.
The swimming pool on arrival looked very nice. The Staff did their best in getting things sorted. The Staff were able to make arrangements for tours and information about the area. They dealt with our room when we had a few problems and moved us to another room. The staff did their best in doing what was best in their eyes for providing a better room. Would I stay again yes if knowing hot water and details sorted.very happy staff and going the extra mile in getting it right.
1, The shower hose was broken, and you had to be a smurf to get under the shower hose. 2, When booking for a bathtub not supplied 3, TV had major problems so couldn't watch 4, The door I had to fix as unable to close.
location, hotel quality, service, very helpfull staff, close to nigth life but quite nigths
breakfast is mainly local food. Only toast , butter and jam as alternative. Payed breakfast is more elaborate.
The pool looks very inviting and the jacuzzi jets are strong. The daytime lady is easiest to communicate with and resolve issues. Location is good.
Staff: The name Boutique, it is not a Boutique Hotel! The staff really do not have a clue how to offer ideal customer service even the owner of the place (except the daytime lady). Any request is difficult to communicate and easily becomes frustrating. The property owner uses this place as a personal space, you'll see children running around, family members aimlessly walking around and shoes everywhere. We was not offered a 1/2 day Angkor Wat's tuk-tuk price initially which is $10 instead of $15, the whole Angkor small tour big tour is very confusing. Room: Air conditioning was really noisy, when asked to fix, they came to shove paper into it. The bathroom flood's as the drain is not properly cleaned from hair from earlier occupants. Breakfast is poor, too many tables not enough space.
We just loved our stay at King Boutique Hotel, for the price you pay on booking.com the place is just a bargain. The staff are probably the best thing about the place, they are so friendly, speak great english and are always up for a conversation. The breakfast is simple but great considering it is included in the price. The pool is always clean and a great spot to relax after a long day.
The main shower head wasn't working, although the staff tried their hardest to get it fixed it didn't happen during our stay. It wasn't a real problem though, as you could hold the button in and it would work, or there was a lower shower head available.
Great situation, next to everything in Siem Reap. Friendly staff.
Need to advert about clean the room, but not good cleaning. I killed some small spiders in the bathroom, and they forgot put new towels.
Place was very nice, pool amazing option for such money.
Guys behind reception are sometimes incompetent. They forget to book taxi to airport. Quite hassle for them to do the final counting. However lady in a suite behind the reception was very good.
The staff were really nice, honest, considerate and helpful. They offered travel & tours for a reasonable fee, same price as seen in the reviews and in the market place. They made our stay happy and memorable. Thanks everyone!!
The value of the money is what you get in the hotel. No elevator but its fine. Food, once you outsidein the hotel you will find anywher from cheap to espensive. Night and pub market 10 minute walk from the hotel. Continental bfast is good. Tuktuk driver sophoan very nuce and can speak english as well. Pool very nice you can relax after your grand tour in angkor wat. Over all i recommend this hotel as an excelent.
Nothing yo say.
The pool was excellent as after a day climbing temples round Angkor Wat it was great to cool off in the pool. It's near street food, shops, restaurants and night life so we found it spot on and I would definitely go back.
The room it's big and confortable, the pool, nice breakfast, the location is pretty much ok
The room it's not clean every day
Everything! Location was very convenient, 5 mins walk to night market. The swimming pool was awesome & tempting, it's a pity we were too busy to even try it when we're there :) We loved our room, it was quite spacious, bed was nice & comfy, with simple but chic decoration. It was also cleaned everyday (unless we asked not to). Bathroom was provided with bathtub & amenities we need. Breakfast included although it's very simple but enough to start the day. They also helped us to arrange the tour to Angkor. Staffs were really nice & helpful. Keep up the good work!
Nothing really. There was miss-comunication, as they offered us a pick up service, which we missed because apparently the bus service took so long to cross the border. But was not a big deal.
Nice accomodation for very good price. Hotel is situated near market and street with many restaurant. Airport and Angkor Wat is avalible by tuk tuk. In hotel you can order tuk tuk to Angkor. Small tour for 15 usd + 20 usd entrence. Be careful in Angkor you must wear long trouser and T-shirt.
Bathroom could be better but for me it doesn't care.
The pool was nice and clean. The rooms were big and the bed was all right. Location was nice to. Only a small walk from pub street and the centre.
The staff in the reception were a bit lazy and sleept all the time. The breakfast was really bad (just egg and bread).
The tuk-tuk driver - Mr Ah Seng, very helpful guy. He can recommend us good and cheap restaurants. I particularly like Angkor Mondial Restaurant Buffet dinner with show - only USD12/pax.
Though we have to remove shoes before entering, I found that the floor inside is dusty and with mud indicating that there are patrons that wear shoes into the hostel.
I liked the staff; they were all so kind, always smiling, and very professional. I liked the breakfast and the help they gave me in arranging where I wanted to go. The room was lovely. The price is good. You won’t go wrong if you stay here.
Confortable bed, nice pool.
Mouldy bathroom walls: this was the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. A white foam getting down all the surface of a wall due to leaks on the roof. It even made a puddle on the floor. This could have been fixed with some cleaning but i think staff were too lazy. Insects smashed on the bathroom walls and cracked bath...... We asked at the reception to change the room but they refuse to do it bc they said hotel was full even if there were rooms available in the website. In the morning we asied again as the wet environment prevent us to sleep well due to the moudsly bathroom, staff said like "yes we know..." And they changed us to another room. I woke up with 6 mosquitos bite. Also woke up at 7am due to guests shouting furig the breakfast as our first room was located close to it... Never again.
V.Reasonable price in low season. Good pool is Best pt of hotel. Try 288 boutique next door if you want some real service, for little extra cost &neg.
The owner used 2 books and on the balance of probabilities overcharged an extra day in 6 day stay , because they did not give receipt for days as paid & already paid. Then bumped me out due to ?,overbooking. v noisy rooms early morning on left due to kitchen below. Room not cleaned even after leaving out clean up room sign. Owner appears to pay lip service to service
The location is really ideal, it is along a major road and a few minutes walking distance to Pub Street and a convenience store. The hotel looked new and was well known with the tuktuk drivers. It has comfortable amenities and that pool is so pretty and the guests swim in the pool. The view from the common balcony area is a nice place to hangout. The hotel is quiet at night. Guests may also leave luggage with the front desk. We booked 2 twin bed bedrooms on our first and second stay. The rooms were roomy. The bathroom is a quite spacious also, lots of space to move around and good steady hot water. Guests must bring their own shampoo, conditioner and soap! The hotel's owner, Mr. Tom, is very accommodating and super easy to approach. He helped us get our laundry done, arrange our return stay and introduced us to Seng our tuktuk guide. Tom's kids are also quite adorable, they made our stay very homey. We felt like coming home every day. Mr. Tom and his family even showed us around other areas of Siem Reap and even the kids went to the airport with us! So sweet of them! There is basic cleaning service. The trash bins were always cleaned out, clean towels towels, clean glasses everyday. The TV and the wifi is also free. There is a kettle and a closet. Payment is during check-out.
For the amenities, there's no elevator so the flight of stairs may be difficult for those on the top level. We stayed on the highest floor (4th floor) first, then the third floor on our second stay. Also, no refrigerator but we didn't really need one. There is a huge chiller downstairs so it may be possible to ask to store perishable items there. The beds have one pillow each. My first bed sank in the middle, my second bed was didn't sink so I slept well. Our first bathroom didn't lock, the second bathroom was fine. Forgot to tell Tom so these should probably get checked.
