Everything. Spacious room, good wifi, big bathroom, nice private pool area, spa on-site with very good prices, free tuk tuk to town whenever you want it (they give you a mobile phone to call them when you want picked up) the staff are soooo nice, the area is quiet. They will arrange transport around Angkor Wat for a reasonable price.
The free tuck tucks were a great idea and very necessary. The staff were great. The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean. It felt like I had a lot of privacy.
The location is a little out of the way. You cant walk to the center of town.
The staff is always helpful and pleasent. Very big room, clean, gorgeous pool, very nice and well maintained tropical garden. Staff very nice - they give you a mobile phone whenever you go to town to call them when you wish for them to come and pick you up. Excellent breakfast choice and also other restaurant food. Good wifi. A bit far from town, but the hotel staff take you to town whenever you wish with tuk tuk - complimentary service.
Nothing, loved it!
Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are lovely. The hotel is beautiful with a nice swimming pool and a nice restaurant. The food there is delicious. The room is great. They offer free pick-up from the airport and also free tuk-tuk to downtown. I highly recommend this hotel.
Everything...silence around the hotel, pool and breakfast, helpful staff, tuck tuck service.
Everything! Staff to facilities were all amazing. Definitely happy with my decision to stay there. 10/10
This hotel was very small but it was rather quaint with a sense of luxury. The bathrooms were huge and gorgeous. Loved the large "rain" shower head and natural looking shower with no obstructing curtain. Very unique. We we're greatest with champaign glasses and treated like royalty. Everything was clean and the good was great. And the tuk tuk and tour guide service was awesome and very affordable. Never would it have expected to get such great accommodations and service at such a low price.
Outside of the hotel was muddy and nearby places weren't much to be desired - as you wonder if you're driver is taking you to the right place. But it was in a very quiet area away from all the hustle and bustle and so I really have no complaints.
very nice hotel! friendly staff, nice garden, nice pool, spacy rooms with beautiful bathroom We found that the hotel being aprox 1.5km from the center to be an advantage as the neighbourhood is quite and tranquil and the complimentary drop-off AND pick-up service is excelent
free tuk tuk ride anywhere you go and they give you a phone to call them back for pick up. Breakfast was very good and pool area was nice. Stuff was very helpful.
We especially liked to service provided by the staff, the nearby city of Siem Reap and the day trip to the temples. It was a fantastic way to experience Cambodia and its friendly people.
Loved everything! Very good breakfast. Free tuktuk to downtown, nice pool!
I loved the beautiful nature surrounded (very well kept, healthy flora which gave the euphoric tropical summer vacation feeling), well maintained swimming pool, blackstone bath tub, rain shower, friendly, polite and accomodating staffs (shout out to Tolla! Hi Tolla! Hope you're reading this).
Nothing. :) :)
This hotel was a great refuge in Siem Reap. The staff were mostly very helpful, and we really appreciated the free tuk-tuk rides into town. I was in Siem Reap for an academic conference, and the drivers always made sure I arrived on time. This service helped to compensate for the location of the hotel, which is not walking-distance to anything in Siem Reap. The pool was beautiful, and the rooms were pleasant, although they were cleaned only twice during our 6-night stay... We appreciated the fairly large variety of items, both western and Khmer, on the hotel restaurant menu. For the most part, the food was good. The breakfasts were reliably good as well.
While for the most part, the food at the restaurant was very good, my fiancé did get food poisoning on the night before we were meant to visit the Angkor Wat temples. He was so disappointed to miss the temples, and he was not well for several days afterwards. A real bummer! One other disappointment was that the hotel staff would not reserve a private taxi for us to the border with Thailand (we read that this is usually a service hotels provide). Instead, they accompanied me to a travel agency that overcharged us by quite a lot for a service that was very poor. The driver on the Cambodian side picked up a friend on the side of the road and drove him all the way to the border in our "private" taxi. Then, the driver in Thailand took us to the wrong ferry pier and dumped us there with our suitcase when there were no more ferries to our destination that day. It was a terrible service, and we were very disappointed that the Moon Boutique recommended this travel agency. Aside from these two big issues, we enjoyed our stay at the Moon Boutique and would recommend it to other visitors to Siem Reap.
Pretty much everything. Our room was great, beautiful bathroom, with excellent shower, comfy bed, a really good room. The pool was very clean and a good size, we used it every day. A really nice place to hang out and relax. Breakfast was very good and varied and in general the food in the restaurant was of high quality. The staff were incredibly charming and helpful and able to arrange tours, bus tickets etc for us with no effort. The location is about a 20 min walk to town but the hotel have tuk-tuks to take you there whenever you need to so it is absolutely not a problem and they give you a phone so you can call for a pick up. Actually ends up saving you money as they will even drive you a little further afield. The hotel is definitely for people who want to relax and take it easy as well as see all that Siem Reap has to offer.
The room was made up daily but the floor wasn't swept. A small thing and when I asked it was done immediately. Be patient with some of the staffs limited English, particularly in the restaurant!
Extremely nice personel. Very helpful. Quiet place. Free tuk tuk to town. Good breakfast. Very green ambient. Welcome drink, fruit basket, souvenir for goodbye. Free bicycles. Fully recommand!
Everything: big, beautiful and clean room, nice pool, great staff, excellent (free) shuttle service to the centre of Siem Reap. Overall a great value for money. Everything was perfect!
Great service and hotel amenities, very good breakfest including freshly squized juice, scrambled eggs, croissants and fruit - all prepared upon order.Free and safe tuk tuk service everytime you need it (10 minutes to the Old Market and approx. 20 to the airport and Angkor temple)
Staff meets 5 star standard! Your manager should be proud of this. Swimming pool and garden are well maintained. Free tuk tuk service, welcome banner and hand-written letter really delighted us. When we chilled out by the pool, staff served complimentary pancakes. Food is restaurant quality, no need to dine in the city center. Room is big. Cleaners worked quietly and took off shoes when he/she entered our room.
When the temperature reaches its highest in the afternoon, a fan will help air conditioner work better.
Staff is perfect, very nice, they know, what you need without telling them. Wonderful pool, just few steps from your room. Spacious room with big bathtub. Free tuk tuk service to and from the city center (also free pick up from the airport or hotel). Garden around creates cosy atmosphere. One of the best hotels I stayed in.
Everything is perfect about this hidden gem. Staff smile every time when we were back from some exhausting trips. When we checked out on the last day, they gifted each of us a scarf. I have no words but: If I had the chance to come back and visit, I would choose the Moon. Breakfast was just too good!!!
this hotel has superb service. the staff r welcoming. and its not.like common hotel with standard boring process. what i appreciate the most is its exclusiveness.
We stayed here for 7 nights, found the rooms excellent & the staff friendly & efficient. Free transport is provided to & from town (between reasonable hours). Meals at the restaurant were excellent & prices very reasonable. The tour & tuk tuk prices offered by the Moon were terrific.
Complimentary Airport Pickup and drop off, late checkout (4pm) without extra cost, complimentary driving service to city center
A true gem is this hotel. away from the noisy centre of Siem Reap, it is an oasis of tranquility in the busy bustling town of Siem Reap. But easily connects downtown with free Tuk-Tuk at one's ready. free mobile supplied to call for your reliable return trip to hotel at any time of day/night (about 8min trip). Staff go out of their way to help, support, advise…absolutely fantastic. Clean pool, lovely breakfast with great selection in tremendous setting in open pagoda-style dining area…loved it. Had dinner there as well, reasonably priced and good choice of dishes. Rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed with huge bathroom. Returning to Siem Reap in the next few years, Moon Boutique Hotel would be my 1st choice. Value for price relation is very much in the positive. 10 out of 10.
