Bed was a little hard compared to Western standards.
Property was a restful oasis in the midst of the crazy kayos of Siem Reap.
the pool and garden area
Poor quality bedding and towels. Money needs to be spent on new linen. Bedding basically poor quality, duvet covers torn. Linen not always laundered enough to get rid of stains. Holes in some towels. We raised this with the hotel when we were there. Not happy having to ask for beds to be changed after 4 days. Should not happen.
The Moon Boutique is a very good hotel. The staff here are excellent. Always willing to help and very friendly. Good breakfast in a very pleasant setting. Tuk Tuk ride in and out of town was not an issue.
Helpful staff, relaxing garden and pool, spacy rooms, great spa services. The location away from the busy streets makes for a real vacation feeling while the included drop-off and pick-up service makes sure you can go and come as you want. Great guide & services arranged by the hotel for Angkor Wat trip.
you should add mosquitonet in the bedrooms , it's nice (charm of eastern countries)and useful
kindness of the staff ready to help with excursions , free tuktuk included in the price , nice swimming pool after long visits
Beautiful place to stay with great services and supportive people. Pool, rest places with many flowers and big plants. Very calm.
Slightly out of town but transport provided so not a problem.
The Staff were helpful, friendly put themselves out to help. The hotel provided tuk-tuks to take you anywhere you wanted to go and a mobile phone so you could ring for a lift when you'd finished. The pool & excellent restaurant are surrounded by lush plants, comfy sunbeds and the hotel has a lovely feel to it. Loved it!
a few Mosquitos but that's not something the hotel can change. They proved you with bug spray in your room to combat the problem.
I recently stayed at this hotel for one night passing through to catch a connecting flight. I was treated so well by the staff as soon as I arrived and throughout my stay and made every allowance for me possibly. They provided me with late check out, free tuk tuk rides in to the centre of town and the airport. I was also a solo traveller so to feel that welcomed was lovely for a change. I would recommend staying here for any length of stay. The facilities were incredible. It's like a little sanctuary away for the busy hub. Loved it!!
Outside of property, on streets, not well-lit. Maybe not good for going for walks in neighborhood. Stray dogs all around.
Tucked away from heavy traffic. Really quiet property. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Helpful, caring staff.
The king size bed was actually two beds pressed together, one of which didn't have a headboard. Also there were not enough sockets in the room.
The staff were extremely welcoming so it was always a pleasure coming back to the hotel at the end of a busy day touring Siem Reap. They were really helpful and accommodating. The size of the room was very generous and had a great bathtub and wet room to shower in. The location of the hotel is good if you like a quieter, more peaceful surrounding. It's a 5-10 minute tuk-tuk ride to downtown so you can be in the thick of it relatively quickly. I'd stay there again.
Very pleasant staff who were extremely helpful
The air conditioning system in our room (no.6) was sometimes noisy, as if ice had formed inside it. This might just have been a one-off.
The friendliness and ambience of the hotel, the cleanliness and the quality of the food and drink. The efficient and free tuk-tuk service made up for the non-central location.
My only complaint would be that the drinks prices at the bar are a little high.
Pool is small but there was space enough to get in the sun. Free tuk-tuks into town (or anywhere local) are great and they even give you a mobile phone to call the hotel when you want to be picked up (before 10pm). Staff were amazing.
Everything except it is a little way out of town (not a real issue though)
Good service, greate people, nice food, quiet place. I had a pleasure to stay there. If I go to Siem Reap again I'll stay in The Moon hotel.
Horrible coffee, milk and sugar mixed sachets in the rooms for morning coffee. They should offer decent coffee granules and keep real milk in the bar fridges.
The staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged tours, drove us to Pub street and gave us a cellphone programmed with the hotel telephone number so that we just had to dial them to be collected. The breakfasts were yummy and the pool area is beautiful. This hotel is a little oasis
Loud male guests arriving late and continuing to drink and make noise
Very friendly staff who would bend over backwards to help even when some younger staff had difficulties with English.
Although we enjoyed our breakfasts and drinks at the hotel restaurant, our dinner there was a little hit and miss.
A really lovely, small hotel with wonderful staff, comfortable rooms and a relaxing pool and spa area. The hotel organised our tours around Angkor Wat and we had a really fantastic and friendly driver.
Location of the hotel is such that one has to use a Tut-Tut to go to town although the ride is free. The roads are dusty, recommend to wear a mask. There is a charge to Angkor Wat.
Fairly comfortable for Cambodian standards. The room is very basic. Staff are very helpful.
Mosquitoes. But it wasn't the Moon Boutique's fault now is it? Heh
Sohpep and Sao in the reception were really helpful and friendly. The room was also large and it was always a pleasure going back in the hotel after a busy day out in Cambodia
The staff were fantastic, they could not have been more helpful. The room and the pool were beautiful. Other than our mothers, we have never been better looked after!
Almost didnt want to leaver to see the temples, lovely and relaxing. The Khmer food is good but the Western food not so much. However with free Tuk Tuk into town you can eat where you like. Pool was amazing, rooms were gorgeous, such excellent value for money. I would stay again for sure!
Staff are awesome & couldn't have been better. Rooms are spacious & nicely appointed & pool area is a lovely place to relax. Would definitely stay here again - can't wait to return!
Injured my heel on gap in footpath to restaurant. It should have been filled properly in a place of this level. Staff worked to lease, but let down somewhat by poor English.
Overall the Moon Boutique was a pleasant quiet and well run at a reasonable price.
very poor internet liability. poor taxi complementary service coordination. too far from evrerything. bad roads. isolated. beeing woke up at midnight by team member who went to pick up stuff in the stockroom just beside my room. being disturb by team member for unexplained reason during nap.
bathroom.design.lots of rom space. service. friendly and professionnal team.
