Phka Villa Hotel Battambang  

Nice bungalows around the pool, 10 minutes walking from the center of Battambang. Very quiet, clean and with a great staff. Tuk tuk to the center available for free. Fantastic breakfast.

This place was absolutely amazing. After a tiresome trip around Siem Reap this is just what my sister and I needed. The staff are so attentive and lovely to talk to. The grounds, room and pool are amazing. The room has a coffee maker and tea with great tasting coffee. Food good. And amazing frozen cocktails. We were taking a long journey the following day and were provided with a lovely pack lunch. If I am ever back would love to stay longer! Thank you!

Everything Very nice staff

Absolutely everything! This is our second visit travelling around Cambodua, and this is by far the friendliest hotel we have stayed in. Room fantastic, pool fantastic, staff even more fantastic. Had a few tours with Saphon, a lovely guy who speaks English, he even reads through his khmer English dictionary and other English books whilst not working. I could have stayed here forever, we didn't want to leave. We are definately coming back!

Wonderfull little paradise with lucious green garden and cool swimming pool. Excellent service, they even sent a tuktuk to pick us up after an exhausting boat trip and they didn't even know how and when we were coming. Full choice in breakfast possibilities.

After an initial misunderstanding, the owner more than made it up by his efforts to please us. The service was excellent and the staff very kind. The resort is beautiful and very relaxing after visiting in the heat.

The hotel is very relaxing, the staff are amazing, helpful, polite and they make you feel so at home with a touch of luxury! Family run, so you have a chance to learn about the kymer culture and language. We booked for 2 nights and we stayed for 4, we are also on our way back to stay for a few more nights. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Everything was perfect !! The staff is really the most friendly we ever met .We even received a lunch pakket when we left !!! The swimming pool is very nice and surrounded by very nice decorated bungalows !! We can recommend this hotel to Everybody who will visit Batambang !

The staff was very nice and friendly.Nice and clean swimming pool, the room was nice as well with TV and free Wi-Fi. I was sick on my second day and they took good care of me. They manage for me the tuk tuk driver to visit the temple and the land. He was speaking very good english as everyone there and I had a great time and he explain me many things. Definitly the place to be in Battambang,

Our stay in Phka Villa hotel was wonderful. The hotel picked us up from the bus station much to our surprise. This hotel is owned and run by a local Cambodian family (which is rare in Cambodia). All family members work together to make this project a success and they have also hired local kids as apprentices. They were ever so friendly, helpful and committed to making our stay the best that it could be. They were renovating some of the hotel but it did not impact on us at all. They hired a local tuk tuk driver to bring us to all the sites and he was so friendly and knew all about the history of Battambang. The rrom we stayed in was very comfortable with a flat screen tv, dressing gown, mini bar etc. The hotel is covered with beautiful trees, flowers and greenery. I was worried I would get bitten by mosquitoes but this wasn't the case. If you want local charm stay at this hotel!

The hotel closed after I left for refurbishment. This is long overdue.

We liked nothing at all about this backpacker's hostel claiming to be a luxury hotel. The staff tried hard but were obviously let down by the owner/management. The slimy pool was putrid, full of insects and leaves, a health hazard to swim in, the pool filters were not running. The rooms had gaps in doors allowing many mosquitoes in. The door didn't lock properly. The tv reception was poor. Breakfast was a shambles. We ordered bacon and eggs. The eggs came first followed 30 minutes later by one skinny bacon rasher. (No joke.) In our 3 week stay in Cambodia it was the dearest hotel we stayed in and was by far the worst. Kevin, Mim and Helen, Australia. 9 May, 12.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. They even packed us a lunch on the day of our departure.

We think that the rooms needed a fresh coat of paint. Also, the fan was so noisy that we couldn't sleep with it on, so the room was quite hot.

C'est en fait une guesthouse sympa, à côté d'un hôtel rose bonbon, dans une rue pas agréable, vieillot. Parfait pour 20 euros de moins.

Eerste tekenen van verval, bijv.ligbanken bij zwembad versleten/kapot, handboeken vaal en oud. Kamers relatief klein en knullig in elkaar gezet (schuifdeuren)

Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Die Zimmer sind immer mit frischen Blumen aus dem Garten dekoriert. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Der Pool ist sehr angenehm, auf den Liegestühlen liegen nicht nur Handtücher bereit sondern auch Strohhüte.Der Tuk-Tuk Service ist sehr angenehm. Gerne hilft man bei der Organisation der Weiterreise und erhält bei der Abreise sogar ein Lunchpaket. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber nur einige Minuten per Tuk-Tuk von der Stadtmitte entfernt. Ideal für einen ruhigen entspannten Aufenthalt in besonders warmherziger Atmosphäre. Es werden seeing-hands Massagen im Hotel arrangiert, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.

Rien à redire vraiment ! Accueil, disponibilité du personnel, sourire et gentillesse, simplicité des bungalows et de la salle de bain, terrasses privées cachées par la verdure, piscine au milieu du jardin, chapeaux de paille et draps de Bain à disposition, bar calme et chaleureux, plus le TukTuk gratuit pour aller en ville, les prix très honnêtes des consommations et de l'excellent restaurant, tout rend votre séjour trop court !

La lenteur du service, mais on est en Asie !!! Le manque de penderie et étagères pour vider les valises.

we waren aangenaam verrast dat men ons van de bus kwam ophalen terwijl wij niet hadden aangekondigd hoe laat we zouden arriveren. Verder kregen we bij ons vertrek geheel onverwacht een keurig lunchpakket mee. Goed nagedacht!

Accueil très agréable, personnel efficace et attentif, piscine très agréable, pas de nuisance sonore, bungalow simple mais suffisant, un peu éloigné du centre ville mais les touktouks sont present, à recommander.
