The manager was very good
Friendly and helpful staff
room needs upgrading
Guest house in a quiet location but within walking distance to the busy night market and pub area. Staff very helpful and friendly, and the pool is a great relief after a hot day. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great staff. Lovely quiet pool.
The room was very basic. The shower flooded so we had water all over the toilet floor. Nowhere to store clothes apart from small amount of hanging space so we had to live out of suitcases. A bright rug on the floor would have cheered things up.
Pool, friendly staff in restaurant, comfy bed, fast wifi, staff willing to help with buses etc
Rooms were a bit dirty (sheets stained, bathroom grotty), safe stopped working, shower not very good
-helpfull staff -good food -great mango juice -nice swimming pool -hot water throughout the day -Wi-Fi -AC -safe
-if you want a second coffee with your breakfast, you have to pay extra -fridge didn't work
Perfect location, close to everything. 5 min walk to pub street. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - welcome drink, marking places of interest on the map for us, organising our trip to the temples and always saying hi as we passed! Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Nothing - would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!
Good location, big room, nice staff
The Villa Siem Reap has a great location. It's close to the Night Market and Old Market. A lot of nice restaurants to chose from. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Pip and staff so welcoming .the staff hear cant do enuf 4 u . All the good reviews u read hear are true
really good value for money
Service and response
Poor room lighting.
Decided to stay two full weeks in Siem Reap and thoroughly enjoyed my fortnight at Villa SR. The staff throughout is very friendly and helpful, they offer plenty of help on things to do in and around SR. The location is great, away from the noise, close to town.
A ceiling fan would have been nice, that's all.
friendly staff, nice service, delicious breakfast and good location (near night market and pub street)
We originally only booked 3 days at here as we wanted to make sure it was a a good hotel. After finding that the rooms are spacious, large swimming pool and excellent staff we decided to book another six nights. We thought nothing of this but after a day of exploring we came back to the room and to our suprise was left a mini sofa. Next minute the receptionist came to the door to wish us a happy stay and explained they added a sofa so we could watch t.v and relax A nice touch
Staff were friendly and helpful
Loud construction during day but didn't bother us too much
The staff members went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The pool is much-needed in Cambodia's tropical heat. The bicycle rental is also a great way to get around town. The location of this place is simply beyond perfect - within walking distance from great restaurants, the night market, and pub street.
The bathroom was very basic. The shower at the least needs a shower door to prevent the bathroom floor from flooding.
Staff are friendly Walkable distance to old market and Pub Street Room size was fairly big
No phone in the room and as such, no morning calls. fridge was not working. out of the 5 days I was there, I experienced a blackout of 1-3 minutes on 4 days. Water from the bathroom would also seep through to the bedroom.
All the staff we had dealings with were wanting us to have a good experience and were very helpful and friendly. They were able to supply information on various attractions and helped with bookings.
It was all good. Great value for money.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, large, comfortable rooms, free airport pickup, and good proximity to central Siem Reap, good pool
Very clean for Cambodia, alas, is still not as clean as it could be. Also AC was not very powerful. But for $25 one can only grouse so much.
Airport pickup worked well
Charmless new hotel like many others, breakfast poor. Not enough places to hang things in bathroom and room
Staff were friendly & helpful rooms were fairly cheap
Fantastic staff, probably our best value hotel in SE Asia.
Shower only warm water, WIFI not 100% reliable.
We stayed one night out of the 10 we booked and moved out as soon as we could. The staff were very rude and facilities were poor and unclean.
Liked the pool area which was nice.
Staff seemed disinterested (apart from the breakfast girls). Breakfast itself was pretty poor with only one drink allowed (a tea or a coffee or a fruit juice). Our bedroom looked as if it needed a make over as the walls were marked and one of the ceiling lights was hanging out of its socket. The room safe could be picked up and walked out....its wasnt bolted down anywhere. The bathroom was a pseudo wet room and needed an upgrade. if you had a shower, the water pooled in the bathroom for hours. Lots of Mosquitos about and the hotel could at least spray the corridors or put out coils. Towels on the sunbeds would be nice too. Overall, this place is not worth the money. A better option for the same money would be The Rose Apple Boutique which is super!
