They put us in the first floor which is good. The location is quiet far from the night life..so we didn't meet the hangover people walking.
They provide free cold drinking water only at noon in front of the lobby. So prepare your own bottle to keep the water with you for morning and night. They provide tour to angkor wat very expensive, so it's better to book in others.
The location and the staff! They were really helpful when booking over night bus etc
There was no pool and on the first day we had to ask the beds to be changed again as the sheets put on were dirty
Near old town but in more quiet are, fairly large comfortable rooms, clean, in general very nice.
Very noisy fan in one of our two rented rooms
- exactly like on the pictures - very clean - totally new bathroom and room paintings - good and clean sheets and towels - helpful staff - spacious room
- noisy fan - noise from work area in other rooms beginning at 7am - electricity and water breakdown at 7am, but very quick fixed after noticed to the staff
Cockroaches, stained sheets
The free pickup from the airport
- food tastes bad, small portions - a lot of bed bugs - unfriendly staff - stalking you to convince you to take the hotels tuk tuk when it is overpriced
Cheap, very good guesthouse with lovely and great owners. Located in the heart of the town, it took just half and hour of cycling to get to angkor wat. Really clean place comparing it to other asian guesthouses/hostels.
Close to the city center, market,
The room was nice and spacious with a high ceiling, fan, and AC. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff arranged transport from the airport and were very friendly. Great value overall at $10 a night for what could be a double room.
The bathroom needed some basic maintenance. The shower head and drain were both clogged making for a rather unpleasant shower. The water could have also been a bit warmer. When combined with the low pressure, the shower didn't get me as clean as I would have liked.
Tropical Breeze is located close to all the action (pub street, night market etc) is only about a 5 minute walk). The rooms are average, clean sheets but hard mattresses. Never ate at the restaurant as other restaurants are close by and within walking distance.
The shower is right next to the toilet so the floor remains wet for a while. The guesthouse in general is veruy run down (dirty walls/floors). We had a fan in our room since aircon costs an additional $7/night. Fan is OK - it did the job but air conditioning would have been better. When I booked it said breakfast was included but it wasn't.
Near the market. Tidy room. Free billiardboard
Do not have some basic facilities as slippers, toothbrush set, glass
near to old market and very nice staff :)
we were given a room that has some damage in the bathroom walls, probably they have to fix something with the pipe but still it's quite disturbing. also, frequent brownouts and the water has a smell.
No quality of service at all.
Good location, WiFi, some very nice staff. Comfortable and clean.
On two occasions the staff completely forgot our food order, which was weird as we were the only ones in the restaurant. Every time we ordered food there the wait ranged from a half hour to two hours. Many restaurants nearby on Pub Street, 5 minute walk.
It was far enough away from pub street to be quiet but close enough to be very convenient. We had some troubles communicating about booking a tour which created some problems for us and angered the owner but most of the people working there were very friendly and helpful. The place is a bit run down but it is kept clean and tidy. Mostly good value for the money.
2nd time staying here, another pleasant experience, friendly staff, HUGE rooms, great value for money, no real complaints,
if im being picky there wasn't a tv remote in my room haha
Good value. Location good about 10 minutes walk from pub street. Helpful staff.
The location is very good, in the centre and about 2 mins walk to the pub street. The owners are friendly and helpful. the room was good. And Siem Reap also, really enjoyed our stay there.
The only thing i didn't like was getting charged 5 usd for a bike. That is very overpriced and you can get a bike on the street for 1 usd
Excellent location, I would really come back here next time
nearest shopping, marketplaces and lively street pub street. main attractions are close walking distance. Possibility to provide excursions. Friendly staff. quiet location.
The rooms were clean but the bathroom was dirty and was felt blight
It was what you could expect for the money you paid for it, nothing more, nothing less.
The staff did not want to expect my 20 $ banknote, saying that it is old and in Cambodia they do not accept old-looking banknotes. I just laughed and used it in a next occassion without any problem.
Where did this place get its 2 stars?!? Dirty, dirty, dirty. Spiderwebs. Cockroach in the bathroom. Traces of vomit on the side of the bed. We didn't want to ask for our room to be cleaned in fear of making it even worse. Very noisy - next to the Golden Banana, where people act like they are on Spring Break. In addition to that, there was a balcony in front of our window and anybody from the guesthouse could use it. We couldn't sleep half a night because a group of travellers decided to chit chat there. Openly unfriendly staff. Bonus: the owners' (?) few year old daughter threw a piece of food at us. Will never stay there again. Not even for free.
room cleaned everyday, near the night market, friendly staff
breakfast not included
was a nice stay, the rooms were big and the bed and décor were really nice, the bed was the softest bed ive stayed in in S.E.Asia great value for money, has a pool table although I never used it
I thought breakfast was included but turned out it wasn't, we had a little debate about it but he wasn't rude, and was settled without any badness, for the value for money it is a nice guesthouse and worth a visit
No Wi-Fi. Bad attitude. No pick up. Disgusting. Breakfast is so slow.
