Villa Medamrei is a wonderful hotel that offers exceptional service in a great location (close to pub st) of Siem Reap. The staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfasts excellent and the terrace was the perfect place for a drink after a long day at the Temples. Highly recommend this hotel.
It was all good
The decor is to kill for... so smartly done...I've been in a lot of hotels and for the money the best feeling in the world.
size of the bathroom... but it was o.k.
the room is a little smelly
The staff are excellent in their helpfulness and are trained well. All I met spoke English and understood every query or request, they even accommodated me after I'd checked out! Room was very quiet, clean, very comfortable and with a beautiful secret garden! (109)
The welcome drink and snacks were lovely, but the introduction to the area provided was a little too much for me on arrival! No real space for belongings or clothes, just a couple of hangers. Breakfast could be vastly improved, I'm not fussy, but for the standard of everything else it was disappointing (but not bad!).
Staff were extremely friendly (welcome drink, very helpful in booking a bus to Phnom Penh for us); spacious, clean room with large bathroom; reliable Wi-Fi connection; food was good value; great location (close to Night Market, Pub Street, but nevertheless quiet during the night)
Breakfast portions were too small (at least for a standard-size European)
The staff was friendly and immensely helpful, they were honest and helped us organised tours and guides even though we were planning our day trips on a rather last minute basis. Maybe it was the fact that it was the low season and the hotel had few guests (so they had more time to focus on their current guests) But overall it was such a good experience and worth every penny.
The moment my friend and I walked in we loved it. They immediately took our bags asked us to remove our shoes and escorted us to the most calming waiting area. They were quick to bring us a cool cloth, banana chips and iced lemongrass tea that really hit the spot. Our room, (104) was ready early and it was clean and adorable! The decor was simple but appealing with bright pops of red against the white bedding. We had a door that opened to the outdoor brick perimeter, but not big enough to sit, who wants to stay at the hotel anyhow? :) The bathroom was decent size and clean with good water pressure and cool or hot water depending on your needs. The foam beds were a little firm for my liking but we didn't sleep much because we made the most of our days leaving before sunrise and coming back after dark. The staff, breakfast on the balcony and location was great too. Nothing to complain about. Loved it! If you can get Roni as your tuk-tuk driver you won't be disappointed. He typically parks to the eft of the front door when you exit. Enjoy, we did!!
Small things... The bed was a bit firm but at least they weren't sagging. We thought our transfer back to the hotel was included but it wasn't, so Roni was there to take us for $5.
Firstly it was in a perfect location just round the corner from where it was all happening in Siem Reap. The staff were very friendly and made sure that we were well looked after. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Can't fault it to be honest.
Staff were very helpful. It is very near pub street, but far enough away not to hear it when trying to sleep. Rooms had everything we needed.
Welcoming was very good. Personnel was so polite and helpful Wi-Fi was good. Tuk-Tuk service was very good. There are computers in common area Location was close to attractions but silence Breakfast was OK.
Rooms were small but OK.
-Friendly staff and they are very helpful. -Location. very close to the night market and pub street. But nothing to worry about all the noises.
Soothing welcome drink and banana chips were perfect add-on after flight
Sien reap weather is very humid. The AC doesn't work after you leave the room, so when you come back bed sheets are wet.
All staff are very kind, very helpful. Room is clean, silence, nice. You can go to pub street, old market, night market by walking just 5 minutes.
I know now Cambodia is wet seanson, but room was too humid. I couldn't sleep well because my bed was too wet. I asked changing sheets, but new sheets was not dry too. It is the only one
Book it now! The nicest place with the nicest staff. Ideal location. Quite but very close to the touristic center. We were extremly happy with our tuktuk driver who works for the hotel. Definitely best and safest way to get to the temples.
Just be ready to wait a bit for breakfast. But it's tasty.
The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient and always happy to help your every need. The rooms were cleaned daily too a good standard, and the villa had a relaxing atmosphere to it. The rooms have good wifi, a safety deposit box and the air con worked well. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.
Excellent Service, waiters are very considerate.
Need more chargers.
Good location just at the edge of town, not too busy, not too far away. Clean rooms with good aircon. Staff experienced was mixed, some were very helpful, others not at all.
Staff experienced was mixed, some were very helpful, others not at all. Services for tours and bus tickets not very good.
Nice hotel. Lovely decoration. Location is perfect. Nearby old market, night market and all restaurants. Friendly staff
welcome from the staff and the welcome drink; hotel and room design was fine and elegant. position was good: close to the main street, but in a quite area.
They gave us a five star welcome. The hotel should be a boutique hotel, it is beautifully decorated and very clean. Only three blocks from all three stores, market and bars. Breakfast was included and delicious. Tour to Angkor Wat was the same price as other places, no need to shop around. for it.I would definitely go back.
Bathroom a bit dim, but one of the owners told they will change that.
absolutely a delightful boutique hotel with nice ambience.
a few mosquitoes.
The hotel is modern, clean and a few minutes walk to the old market and great restaurants. The staff were very helpful and organised my trips to the temples including a very early start to see the sunrise.
very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, good location close to all markets and pub street
the room smells very, very moldy - the humidity inside the room is higher than outside - you can't even breath - we changed the room in the ground floor from one side to the other side of the corridor, but there were the same conditions - you can't open the window because there is no mosquito net
The staff are friendly and excellent location. Just few minutes walk from the pub street and night market. You can save a lot on travelling costs. Decoration of the hotel is amazed and cosy.
The room smells wood and the breakfast is small in portion. But overall I like the place.
Beautiful boutique hotel. Everything looked brand new, staff incredibly kind and helpful, and excellent value for your money. 5 minute walk from city center (pub st, night market, old market). We also used the hotel to arrange all of our tours and their prices were competitive. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Employees are the nicest people we've ever met.
