Able Hostel in Dongdaemun

facilities are basic n location is excellent, it is close to the night market, the building also housed many male solo travellers so ladies should not recommand to travel alone at night. The facilities are basic,but is value for money. The manager Mr Hong is very nice.

The excellent service and friendliness of the manager,Mr Hong.Very helpful and patient. Whenever he is not in his office,there is a mobile phone in front of his office door for the guests to contact him.Rooms very clean and very well equipped .a mini market on the groundfloor (open 24 hours,I think).Subway 2,4 and 5 ,just 3 mins walk away.Dongdaemun shopping area,only 5 mins. Walk away.Airport limousine stops 3 mins walk from the hostel. Excellent location for practically everything,eating,shopping and visiting.Easy excess by subway,taxi or even walking distance from most of the interesting "must visit" sites like the 5 Palaces,the Jongmyo shrine,Namsangol hanok village etc.I Would highly recommend Able Hostel.

Except for the automatic light in the hallway that's way too bright when you go to the wc in the night,everything is just perfect.

I have a pleasant stay here. Close to subway which is just 2 to 3 minuteswalk. Near to dongdaemon market. The rate also reasonable.

You must request to do the daily room cleaning.

The place is perfect for a family traveling like us, we enjoyed the stay! Praises to the manager Mr. Hong who was very warm, helpful and accomodating during our stay. We will definitely stay here again if given the chance to come back in Seoul.

The location is good, near Dongdaemun shopping mall, airport bus stop and subway exit. The manager, Mr. Hong, is a very nice and helpful, only he takes care all the rooms, even he is not in his room, just call then he would come & help asap! Appreciated & thanks! I will stay in Able Hostel next time if I visit seoul again.

Location is good, convenient to go to Dongdaemun and take subway.

Not clean up the room daily, need to request if you need. If this can be improved, it will be excellent to stay there.

Location. Strategically located. Very near to Dongdaemun Shopping area and to metro exit. Mr Hung the hostel manager is very helpful! And there's a convenient store just below the hostel!!!!

Good that I am able to cook simple dishes with the kitchenette available :) There's a computer, wifi. No tv though (well, we don't need any as we are often out anyway) Quite near the Dongdaemun night market. Prob abt 5-10 mins walk. Mr Hong is a very friendly and helpful host. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

I like the place as it is strategically located near the subway station which is very usefull for tourists like us. It is also very near the popular shopping area of Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The owner Mr. Hong is very nice, approachable and very helpful during our stay.

Very near subway which is super convenient for shopping. The room is well equipped and even has a desktop computer with free wifi to use. The manager is very nice and was very quick at replying any questions asked.

Able hostel is just 5mins walk away from Dongdaemun, you can shopping till to 4am without any concern to back to the hostel. The room is pretty large that i am able open 3 luggage in the room. The owner is nice and helpful. The hostel also provide the power socket adapter, towel, dryer and personal computer in the room.

The room do not have TV, or may i don't know how to watching TV in the computer. The computer is installed in Korean language, it should be great if the windows can be installed in English version. The path from eujiro co-op to Able hostel is quiet, if only one girl living there that should be better to follow the main street rather the path at night.

We used arex till Seoul Station and taxi about 6000krw to reach hostel. If by airport bus is 6001 stop in front of Coop Residence. Then walk about 2-3min to hostel. As we bring along 3 yrs old boy n carry stroller along, elevator is a help here. We booked triple room, one double bed and one single bed, very comfortable for us. The room we stayed is 411. Computer avail in our room as well. Fridge also avail in our room, just nice for us to keep some fruits and juice. Washing machine is another credit. Heater keep us warm, This hostel's location is great. Very close to shopping heaven Dongdaemun, retail and wholesale. Normally we used exist 8 with not many staircase. Exist 1 is with elevator avail but walking distance to our hostel. Those bring along stroller may consider exist 1. Overall, we just love this hostel; if we back to Seoul again, we will stay here again.
