Astoria Hotel  

Cleanliness. Cleaning staff members are extremely polite and pleasant.

Staff at Front desk not warm enough. Not bad though. No Wi-fi in the rooms. No tooth brush provided.

The location is great just 2 mins to the subway station. Near shopping areas. The best is there is a chinese restaurant almost beside the hotel so our children which are not used to eating korean cuisine(hot foods) are able to have their lunch at this restaurant.

The hotel needs to renovate, its somewhat old and there is an odd odor which i think comes from the dirty carpet. Rooms are not clean. Lacking toiletries but toilets are clean. Staff is ok except when we arrive late, there is no shuttle bus from sejong hotel bus stop to the hotel. This is just around 9pm. So we had to walk with our 3 big luggages to the hotel from the bus stop and it was cold at night. We have 2 young kids with us.

The location was great. 5 minutes walk to Myeongdong and 3 minuteswalk to Chungmuro subway. Hotel was clean and housekeeping was promptly done daily.

No wifi in the room. Only available at the lobby. Not very convenient.

Good location. Walking distance to Myeo-dong , and Hanok Folk Village. Near by to Naedomun marke, Lotte World t and Insa dong. Staff also can speak english and very helpful.

No coffee/tea in the room.

A minute walk to Chungmuro station which is a station away from Myeongdong shopping complex and to Sejong Hotel where the limo bus from airport stops...there's Paris Baguette, Holy's Coffee and convenient stores around the corner. Also walking distance to Namsangol Hanok Village.

For those travelling in groups, there's no rooms with connecting doors. Also, although I requested rooms in "non-smoking" floor, 1 room given to us was in a "smoking" floor where the cigarette smell abound in the room

The Hotel Reception staff ( esp. Ms. Han ) were very helpful to guide/recommend me to various places/means of transport around Seoul.

-the location is great. it just 5 mins walk from airport but stop and very close to Myeongdong. -Very easy to travel to other places.

Room was always very clean. Beds are comfortable. A rather comfortable stay on a whole.

Something puzzling - no toothbrushes provided. Walls are thin so you can actually hear what is going on on the other side of the wall.

The location is very good. It's on walking distance to the center of the city. The subway station Chungmuro is close by. There is a free shuttle bus to the limosine bus stop. The rooms are big and clean. Very friendly staff.

I like Astoria Hotel about the room because there are have two double bed inside the room therefore, my family can stay together. Morevoer, its surrounding is very good.

Good location next to the Chungmuro metro station (about 50 metres). It is within walking distance to Myeondong, Namdaemun Market and Dongdaemun Market. There are plenty of eateries nearby such as Subway, McDonald, Tom nTom and other local eateries.

No issues , however it would be nice if the staff could communicate in English but then this is Korea...

Conveniently located near the main shopping district Meoyong Dong. Although located along two main busy streets, the double windows assure a good night's sleep. Rooms are not too small and just right for 2 persons too feel comfortable.

Amenities are a bit on the stingy side.

Very poor airco, room temperature could not go below 26 degrees.

Location is in the middle of the 2 famous tourists place.

The bed is not as comfortable and is very budget hotel. Level 2 has nightclub..

the aircon doesnt really differentiate well between heating and cooling. so eventually we figured out that we should just switch it on when its too hot and off when its too cold. no wifi in the room, but the wifi in hotel lobby was pretty speedy. lastly,the tv is very old, the crt type. but they do have some variety of channels. we watched the chinese channel most of the time.
