Attimua Guesthouse & Pension

The environment is very beautifu, the house is very clean and the persons are very kindly there. Everything is good.

The owners, as everyone points out, are exceptionally warm, friendly, hospitable and flexible. They are willing to pick you up at and drive you to the closest bus stops at any time. The breakfast we were offered was superb and plentiful. We were there in December, and so were not able to take advantage of the barbecuing and swimming opportunities that presumably are present during warmer months. Once you get your bearings, the location is convenient to the local attractions, such as they are.

The one and only, but rather major, caveat with this guesthouse is that it is impossible to find, even for local taxi drivers and the tourist office. The reason the hosts pick you up at and drive you to the bus stop is that this is pretty much the only way you can get to the guesthouse. We had to take a taxi from the ktx station (Singyeongju) because even if one were to take the bus (700) that makes a stop relatively close to the pick-up location, there is no way to know where exactly to get off and what to do once you get off. Our taxi driver had to make a number of phone calls, including to the proprietors, to figure out where the pick-up location is. I would therefore highly recommend to the owners to provide detailed directions, in both English and Korean, on Booking.com so as to enable travelers to find the pick-up location or ask a bus or taxi driver. Things do become much easier once you get your bearings and the owners explain to you what buses to take, where to get off, and how to call them for pick-up.

Most friendly and gracious host family. They also provided free pickups from the bus stop. Lovely dogs, little poodle and a golden retriever. No barking. Their son speaks English well and is very happy to help with tourists information. The guests stay in a separate building next to the host family house. Spacious room with balcony overlooking a small lake. Nice modern kitchenette. Strong wifi. Large 50 inch? TV with several hundred HD channels. Comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful view of a lake. Free Coway clean water machine in the hall. Nice hot shower with strong flow. Quiet and relaxing. Very safe and secure place. A super value for a smart deal price of 65,000 won for a studio. A perfect getaway! I would have stayed more nights, but the place was fully booked.

No bathtub. Not soundproofing enough. A group of noisy ladies across the hall were making lots of noises till two in the morning! No laundry facilities but I'm sure the hosts would let you use theirs if you asked. Far from bus stop and food, but you could probably ask for a ride or borrow a bike.

The owner and family are warm, hospital, friendly and extremely accomodative. The environment is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a family or couple getaway. The host provide wonderful home cook breakfast and helpful information for sightseeing and transportation. I highly recommend this quaint pension for vacation in Gyeongju.

I truly appreciate Chey and his family. They were so kind with us. Furthermore, we really like the place: the house is amazing and the nature around it (and the lake) is magic.

we stayed unfortunately only one night. the pension is located near bomun lake in the beautiful landscape at a small lake. the rooms are lovely decorated and very clean. you have your own litte terrace but you can also use the big one at the lake. there will also be a swimming pool. we were the only guests and enjoyed our stay very much. they offer free wifi and bicycles for free.you will be picked up for free at the gs25 store near gyeongju world bus station. the bus station is 25 min walk away from the pension but they will always bring there by car. from threre you can reach gyeongju city or bulguksa temple by bus. they also brought us to a restaurant for dinner. we can highly recommend this penson.

The owners are very nice. The home made breakfast was great. As the guesthouse is a bit far of from the bus stop, you will braught to or pick up from there for free.

The owner is very nice. Her son can speak English very well. Free pick up at Expo Centre. Just call them, they will arrive within 5 minutes. Nice environment, clean & tidy room, good breakfast. I strongly recommend to stay there.

A family runs the place. The owner speaks English well and provides you with all necessary information. There are free pickups and you will be brought to the right bus stops for your day trips. Recommended!

Room is very clean and tidy, and beautiful decorated! The golden retriever in the pension is so lovely, I want to stay one more night there!

Traffic.. There is no direct public transportation to the pension. But still ok as there is pick up service, and they will pick you up in the nearest gs25 convenient shop.
