Near busan train station. Good people.
Location, cleanliess were super. I stayed there for 4 nights. Crystal was very friendly, easy going. She makes me feel at home.I will definitely stay there if I am in Busan.
position is close to the Busan Station and the bus station
a little bit noisy because the guesthouse is near a pub.
The guest house owner is really nice. She try to give direction as clearly as possible despite of her limited english skill. She always make sure we get what we need, even she give us umbrella when we want to go back to seoul but we dont have any of it.
The location is really convenient, just opposite of busan station, but the bad things it located in underground area of busan, many pubs and bar, so they are really loud at night and unless you sleep like a pig, you will feel disturbed
Crystal herself was most helpful in finding out info about moving about. She was also concerned about my comfort. Very accommodating; downloaded a Korean historical movie drama when I expressed interest in it; checked with a museum where I thought I had left my ID.
Music from nearby night entertainment outlet played till quite late; however she provided ear-plugs - that helped.
The owner is very nice and the room is extremely clean even though that it is a bit noise in the middle of the night. However, it is a quite safe place for female to stay.
Humble staff, helpful and easy to find because it was strategy place at Chinatown, Busan.. nearly to exit 10 busan station as well..
The place is not very good for the guest whose bring children maybe, because it located in pub and bar, nightlife areas (chinatown).. but who cares? Its safety hehe and enjoy your trip during in Busan :)
I had the whole guesthouse to myself as I was the only guest on that day! Crystal provides very good service, helping me with early check-in, searching the internet for the shortest route to my destination and most importantly helping me to send my items to Seoul when I accidentally left them in her hostel. I think she even washed my clothings before sending over to Seoul :) It's budget friendly and the hostel is located very near Busan station, only about 5 minutes away.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
Very nice guesthouse owner who provided a lot travelling suggestions and advices
A bit noisy at night
This is a small guesthouse with only four rooms. Very nice host, location very good (about 5 min walk from Busan Station). Also the guesthouse has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, it is nicely decorated and has everything one needs when travelling around: free cold and hot water, breakfast (eggs, juice, bread, etc) and a fully supplied kitchen free to use whenever needed. The host told me that the area is very safe, which I cannot confirm but believe nonetheless (have never felt uneasy). Also there is free wifi and the host will gladly give directions to every destination one wants to visit. As it is a little hard to find, here are a few tips: When coming out of Busan Station, cross the road and turn right. After a few meters, there is an 'Aritaum' on the left. Turn left here and walk until the first (!) alley, there turn right. The guest house is on the left side located on 5th floor (elevator), there is also a sign, but it is between others so you can easily miss it. There is also a bar in the building, you can see ad pictures when going in.
Unfortunately, finding it can be fine, but the staff at the tourist information will gladly help you if you need some more directions (ask them to walk the way on google earth, this really helps!). Also, it can be very loud at night as there is a bar in the same building, but I only visited for the weekend, so I could not tell how the situation is during the week. In any case, bring earplugs (if not the noise from outside, you never know what roommates you will get).
The owner, Crystal, is very kind and helpful in providing good traveling information to us. :) Security is good also.
All small notes displayed in the guesthouse are in Hangul. It might be difficult for foreigners to understand the instructions or nice reminders on the notes. For example, each guest is provided an egg (self-cooked) a day, but we failed to understand it:p
