great location. room was very basic but surprising how much they were able to fit in with the shower, bathroom, desk, fridge, and tv. staff was very helpful and easy access to the market, subway, and city sites my room had a stuffy smell once you entered but the fan fixed this. Make sure when you get off the airport bus to find the steps and walk under the street- right across the way

The Bed in my room is somewhat short. I am 175cm tall, and the bed seems just 175cm tall. I should bend my knees to sleep in that bed.

Good location, helpful and friendly staff. Shared products you can use (shampoo, moisturizing cream among others). They provide coffee and bread/jam for breakfast. Rooms not sound proof, you can hear everything from the corridors and neighboring rooms. Minimum confort which corresponds to the cheap price.

The guest house room even not very big but at least enough for someone like me travel alone. The room was tidy and so lot of useful facility inside, such as little table, TV, stuff shelf, wardoard, central heat/ conditioner. The bath room small too, but alway have hot shower to use. I come to seoul for travel, and this house just at the center of the city, 15min walk to city hall and Gwanghwamun, 30 min walk to Nam Shan Park (N-seoul tower). And I just spend few time in the guest house, only sleep and stay little bit while at the moring to planing trip, So I think size of the room is not the matter, especially I only spent not much money in there. No

Thanks to the helpful staff who arranged the skiing trip for me. It was a memorable experience. There is also a washing machine and hanging clothes. It is just 5 minutes walking distance to the subway station of Hoehyuen. Shopping and food are easy because Namdaemun is just right opposite.

The english language speaking staff were very helpful, informative and cheerful. The guesthouse gave lots of amneties free of charge like the use of washing machine, providing free detergent, bread & jam, kimchi, noodles (FOC) and no restriction of how many helpings. Toilet rolls take as many as you need. Big bottles of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner is there at the common bathrooms. The room have whatever you need to make you comfortable. No complaints only praises.

Nice guesthouse in the center of the city. Really friendly English spoken staff. Great common space (kitchen) to meet people. Free laundry. Really tiny bedroom and too warm during the night, no windows. In fact, all the rooms are tiny. Very basic breakfast.

Good location: just few minutes from City Hall station (line 2) and Hoeyen line 4, and about 10-15 mns walk from Seoul station... The rooms are too small (small bed, small private bathroom).

The price and location are right. Quite, dark room with a fairy comfy mattress. upper bunk mattress was vinyl-covered and made a loud squeaky noise when my daughter would roll over. The bathroom was a bit grubby, but suited the purpose.

The Fridge, it's the most suprising item to me! Overview this trip, the location is the best, it's very near Myeongdong. Also there are many choices, by Bus or MTR, may be only 2-5minutes, for walk. The house-owner, the two brothers, are very nice and helpful, although I kept on asking some "silly" questions, sorry~ I think I'll book here if come back, this warm and nice place! The room is quite small. Just this one, it's small, small, small.

Absolutely terrific staff and personel! I will definitely stay here again if I travel to South Korea in the future. The price is really good, and the location is one of the best, located in Downtown Seoul. It's a 5-10 minutes walk to Seoul City Hall which is close to many attractions, (For instance Gyongbokgung Palace) Great place!

The location is extremely convenient. It is located right in the center of downtown Seoul, opposite the Namdaemun market, and a short walk to Myeongdong. The airport shuttle bus (called Airport Limousine in Korea) stops very close to Elm Tree Guesthouse, and services both Incheon and Gimpo airports. The subway station is a little bit further but still within easy walking distance. Overall, if you spend very little time in your accommodation and all you need is a hot shower and a cheap place to crash at the end of the day, this place is perfectly adequate. The single room is extremely small, and is on the inside of the building so there are no windows except a small ventilation hatch high up. The bed occupies about half the room, so if you are over 1.8m tall you will not fit in the bed. The room was rather warm at night - the building is air-conditioned, but there is a single unit that cools the whole floor. There are also only 2 bathrooms for the whole floor. Each bathroom is a combination shower/toilet, so if you need to go urgently you may be in trouble during peak hour.
