Everything is so clean and there is virtually no crime.
Everything is so clean and there is virtually no crime. Transportation is so easy that getting around to museums, spa treatments, facials, shopping, palaces, restaurants, hand painted manicures a cinch. You can pack in several activities into a day and either walk, taxi, bus or subway everywhere. We ate at a lot of random restaurants but also at restaurants recommended on tiktok and at the food court at the basement of Lotte Department Store. There were also a lot of interesting coffee shops and bakeries that were outstanding. We used the ATM to get won, but the bank charges were high. You don't need much won as most stores and restaurants take credit card, but there were a few places where the credit card interface was entirely in Korean. Google Maps doesn't work well, so we used naver.com for walking, but it wasn't great.

Google maps is not available for walking navigation.
Google maps is not available for walking navigation. Naver doesn't work well enough, not easy to track. Food in Seoul is quite good. Local people are not friendly, sometimes hard to ask their support for street direction. I could not visit DDP Art & Museum because the ticket officer didn't explain clearly, just told me to wait outside.

Get a WOWpass, that's the first thing I'd recommend anyone who plan to travel to Korea. Although most shops accept cash but having a WOWpass (works as a debit card) is so much more convenient, especially if you do not speak Korean.
The transportation in Seoul is very convenient, just follow the routes recommended for you in NAVER app. You can get to anywhere!
Shopping and K-pop culture are must do/see/visit in Korea! I always come to Seoul for concerts plus one or two days relaxing, ie shopping, cafe-ing. One thing must be mentioned is that; any coffee shop, absolutely any cafe in Seoul, is fabulous!!

Seoul is a great place to find something new and to discover new foods and cultures. However, Seoul is very big. It is made up of many different kinds of neighborhoods that each target a different demographic. So when you think of Seoul, don't think of it as one place. Think of it as many different little neighborhoods that are all connected. You can easily travel by foot, bus, car, or train to any neighborhood. Just be willing to travel!!

Seoul is a beautiful city, easy to navigate with a local app called Naver maps. There are so many restaurants in and around Seoul and it's real is a Haven for foodies. I would suggest buying a Tmoney card in the convenience store and topping that up for use in public transports such as buses and subway (taxis as well).

Very clean city and Koreans are very disciplined .
Very clean city and Koreans are very disciplined . Very nationalistic and because of this communication is difficult. Street signs and other directions are in Korean . Best to have a translator app on your phone.
Loved wearing their National costume -Hanbok and walking to the palace wearing it. How nice that they keep their culture and tradition to this day.
Easy access from the train. We come from Incheon Airport, taking train Line 1 towards Soyosan and exit station Jongno 3-ga station then use Exit 6. At the exit you can see the junction. Just turn left. Moving forward then turn left you can see the hotel. Very convenient to use the main road instead of in between routes which are ok if you want to see the cafe at the alley
The hotel provides a face towel. You can request a bath towel if needed
The washer and dryer provided but instructions are in Korean. You may Google translate
It’s about 10-15 mins away from Lotte department, Myeongdong shopping street, Deoksugung palace, City Hall train station, Olive Young, No brand burger, Mcdonald’s, several convenience stores, cheap delicious Korean restaurants, local coffee shops (ex. Ediya coffee), 3 Starbucks stores, Cheongye stream, Egg drop, and Airport Limousine bus stop. Then about 20-30 minutes away from the Gyeongbokgung palace where you can get in free if you rent from one from the Hanbok rentals nearby.
The deluxe suite was very large and clean. The deluxe suites are also on the top floors, so you'll get a nice view. I was on the 34th floor. The hotel also has a lot of restaurants and places to relax in the lobby area. They also have a video game area (PlayStation) and a casino on the lower level. The staff was very professional, and the room service food tasted great. This was my first time going to South Korea and they made me feel welcome. I will go to this hotel again.
The room was clean with all the items you'd expect from a hotel with a luxury feel. I loved the hotel room's window view, seeing all the city buildings and lights. The bed was very soft and comfortable, more than my bed at home. It was great to rest in that bed after travelling all day. The location was exceptional and I had to stay here again, less than 5 minutes from the subway and within walking distance to Hongdae St with all the shopping, restaurants and bars.
A wonderful, clean, and comfortable accommodation. The room is new and spacious, just like in the pictures. check-in process can be somewhat but no matter It's conveniently located not far from Gangnam and is suitable for families. I came here for a vacation in Korea, and it was perfect. Personally, I stayed here for a medical procedure, and the massage chair was very relaxing. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to stay again.
Close to the subway, staff spoke English well and were very helpful, they helped us book taxis to the airport. Great views of Gangnam and nice clean rooms! The gym was nice too. I like the restaurant and bar as well! The hotel also had reliable ATM machines at the reception level which was very handy. There’s a yummy Korean restaurant and 7 eleven at the basement of the hotel itself! Loved my stay here, I’d love to come back!
I've been at Solo Travel for over a month and this was one of the best places where I ever Stayed. I was able to learn a lot about South Korea thanks to Reina and it was always nice to spend time there, with all the people. I can really recommend this Hotel.
BTW "If you are a Man please make some noise if you strand behind Reina. She is very easy to Scare and this has happened to me several times 😅😅"
The location was good there was alot of restaurants surrounding the hotel and my friends and I are big into food! The hotel itself was pretty spacious and the bathroom set up was nice! I had booked two rooms one for my three friends and one for myself and my partner. The bed was cozy and comfortable for me and we all would book here again if we ever get the Chance to go to South Korea again!
The location of the hotel is convenient if you want to stay in Gangnam area. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around, and close to different transportations to get to other areas in the neighbourhood and around the city. The room was clean and bright. The room was cleaned every day and bathrobe is provided. Amenities and water is provided every day. The bed was huge.
The staff were absolutely amazing, made the experience the best hotel that I stayed at for my entire trip (1 month), even more so then a 5 star hotel I stayed at later on. The hotel is just a 2min walk from the station and the lines available at the station connect to most major attractions. Was amazing value for money to stay here, would absolutely recommend to everyone.
I've stayed in 10+ hotels/homestays in South Korea and this one is real good. I particularly enjoyed the communication with staff, I felt they are genuine people that do their best to make guests comfortable. The place itself is lovely, just 5 minutes away from Hongdae station and has lots of yummy places all around.
The staff very friendly , the location is 5 star (2 minute from metro station , 2 minute from airport bus and just on step ahead to BHC Chicken , Nike Main Store and Myeondong night street market) and the hotel have an access to Seven Eleven and Starbucks 😍
I loved that the staffs were totally attentive to my needs, the hotel was very clean overall. The continental food was delicious (if you like Korean food). Overall, the location was the best part because the hotel was located centrally to everything.
Best guesthouse i ever stay in Hongdae!!! i will be back to stay here again for sure! Staff was so kind and helpful. The location is perfect, just 5mins walk to the airport railway line. Nice breakfast as well. I had a very nice stay here.
Totally does not feels like 3 star hotel. More like 5 star. My boys were all surprised. The location is excellent too, both to tourist spots and going to airport . Best part is Lotte Mart is at the basement! Spoilt for food choices
Great Location near train station and within the heart of Myeongdong. Heaps to do within a minute walk from the hotel. Hotel is well furnished with TV with Netflix on it. Bathroom is very spacious. Nice laundry room for cheap.
Seoul can be an overwhelming city. Staying at Kims allowed me to relax and enjoy my time in South Korea much more than if I had stayed in a hotel or such. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating.
It's close to the walking street of Myeongdong and the airport bus express station is only a few step away. Subway is just below the hotel and its so convenient to stay at Sejong
location is great for first nights in Korea, as hotel is directly above the subway station from Incheon airport.
breakfast buffet is very good.
beds were comfortable
