Hanwha Resort Seorak offers unique facilities like a water theme park, movie theatre and an 18-hole golf course. It is a 2.5-hour drive from Seoul and has a luxurious spa. Rooms are elegant with wood flooring and furnishings. They provide spacious interiors, a seating area and a kitchenette. Select rooms come with a private balcony. Resort Hanwha has 2 swimming pools and a lake on-site. Featuring mineral water, the theme park is excellent for a fun day outdoors. Other facilities include karaoke rooms, billiard tables and an internet café. The spa offers relaxing massages and body treatments. A visit to Hanwha Resort’s sauna compliments the experience. The restaurants offer an international menu, as well as, local specialities. The resort provides a cosy coffee shop and a pub on-site. Supermart a saviour given the remoteness of this condo. A total rip-off and huge misnomer. It should be listed as a condominium, not hotel, as that was how it was run and based on the comparison with the real hotel, Hanwha Resort Serona. Totally shocked when I found the condo. Hallways stank of stale food since every unit had a kitchenette. Staff had very little to no English knowledge, making it tough to even get them to book a cab. It was far from the town, public bus was not really feasible, and cabs had to be callec for by the front desk. Only hand towels were provided, no toiletries.

Very expensive for the quality, location and service. Why is it called "resort" whereas nothing is included in the price. Everything costs extra and there's no shuttle/bus service to the Seorak National park.

The hotel did not capture my booking reference with Booking.com. Nevertheless, they still gave me the 3 rooms at the price booked with Booking.com.

The staff at the front desk were quick to make decision and tried their best to make our stay there comfortable.

Appartement spacieux, propre. Proximité de Sokcho et du parc naturel de Seorak. Accueil aimable. Le site est desservi par un bus (n°3 et 3-1, 1100 kwr) depuis Sokcho. Pour se rendre au Parc naturel, le plus simple est de prendre un taxi (ou bien aller à Sokcho avec le bus n°3 ou 3-1, puis prendre le bus n°7). Belle région. Le resort est un ensemble de 9 bâtiments de 7 étages alignés bout à bout, un peu vieillot, très fréquenté par les groupes scolaires en semaine et par les familles le weekend, avec un grand parking pour accueillir voitures et cars. De jour comme de nuit, on entend tout ce qui se passe sur le parking et dans les chambres voisines. Chauffage très fort la nuit. Manque éclairages pour lire dans le lit.
