Good central location.
The breakfast is very poor quality and may not be ready by the official 07:00 start time.
The hotel in overall and rooms were fairly furnished and very clean. WiFi was great.
Lighting in the room was not sufficient for working with papers at the available good desk. Moved lamp from bed cupboard to the desk but unfortunately there was no socket available to connect. My neighbors behind the wall were not speaking with excessive loud but I could fully follow their conversation. Breakfast was poor and there was few items not suitable for morning meal such as fried chicken.
Bed + sheets - definite western standard issue. (This is a key issue at Soviet hotels, as traditional Soviet sheets are like sand paper and many mattresses still in use today date form the 1950s.) WiFi was also fine.
Some details were lacking, such as: Towel rack: fell apart and came off the wall, but never repaired TV: I don't think it more than 3 channels, despite being a modern plasma TV Bathroom: some extra amenities (such as soap) and more than 2 towels would have been nice. Again - many minor details
The location is very good, almost center of Almaty, the wi-fi works fantastic. Also the Breakfast service is excellent.
Communication is a bit problem. When i was checking out, the reception was asking me more money, and when i showed them my online booking, then they say, oh sorry, we thought you stayed one night longer..be careful guys with this kind of experience..always keep the online booking receipt..
Spacious single room Large & confortable bed Great view on the mountains English speaking personnel Clean room
...a little bit too cramped space for legs on the toilet or too little choice for the breakfast...
Location, the room was large enough
Good wi-fi connection Center
Very small bathroom
great location, helpful staff, clean....flexible..had to leave early..no problem.
overpriced, I ordered two double bedrooms, I got two suites at over $100 per night each..however I found Almaty very expensive cf other countries in the region.
Door man spoke excellent english and always assisted when asked
No English TV channels available at all, despite a channel list indicating some English channels are available
Welcoming helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, a few minutes from metro station, choice of nearby restaurants. Mountain view.
AC could have been better.
Nice location with very large room, good for price.
Reservations are good for 24 hour stay from the time of check-in, a fantastic policy for business travelers or transit with badly timed connections. I will definitely stay again on future business
Very well-located, wonderful views to the mountains, friendly staff, quite comfortable room. I really appreciated the 24hours-concept with no fixed check-in and check-out time.
Usually I would say bad value for money - but for Almaty where hotels are expensive in general it is okay. Maybe a little less noodles and sausages for breakfast and some more bread and marmelade.
No recharge the minibar! WiFi not good Shower broken No hot water in bathroom..
Easy booking, no credit card required. No fixed check-out time - you may stay within 24 hours from the time of checkin.
Location is perfect.
Single standard room was outdated with furniture from 80's. There was no hair dryer in the room.
Very hepful staff, very cosy hotel, nice little cafe, excellent location, modern bathrooms with large shower cabin
Room doors very thin and not soundproof - very noisy during room cleaning and when guests arrive at night, talking loud in the corridors
Great view onto mountains.
Breakfast a bit basic- no juice for example.
location, price, staff
rooms are not quiet cars sounds coming from street too much disturbing during sleeping. not tea makers and waters for drinking free. all staff and restaurant don't know English their speaking is very bad
Old room, very bad drain in shower
Good and friendly staff. Location is perfect. Good value for money.
There was noise from repair during day time.
Bathroom need to be upgraded, No shelves or space next to the sink to put personal toiletry, shower has no shelve for soap, shampoo, etc. toilet plumbing need to be checked, room has vitrine with tea set in it, but no cattle to boil water and prepare tea (standard at almost every U.S & EU hotel) curtains not thick enough to block day light. choice of food served for Breakfast very poor. For the money hotel is charging, one would expect a higher standard
I'm glad I booked a comfort suite as I would hate to see the normal rooms. Room was big, wifi connection was really good even with two devices connected at the same time. Comfy bed - although two single duvets on the double bed? Excellent view looking up at mountains. Late Check out at no extra cost was very pleasing.
Toilet area very small and split into two parts - surely they can knock the wall down dividing the shower area and from the toilet. The height of the sink is perfect for a small child or a dwarf. The breakfast was shockingly bad - everything about it. Noise from traffic - traffic lights outside in both directions and everytime they turned green it sounded like the start of a grand prix. Sound proofing very poor due to the cheap doors leading to balcony not closing properly.
Staff slow in responding to emails No water boiler in room Wifi down for about an hour every morning
