Location is great, roof bar, guns & roses and noodles all part of the hotel is great. good food, good service.

service and staff mentality of the hotel it self, is still 1977 standard. If management was changed, staff trained, this hotel could really take advantage of its location, history and facilities, and still be a top hotel in Almaty.

The view on the mountains from the window, especially on top floors (20-25). The bus to Medeo Ice Ring and tho the lower station of cable way to ski resort Shimbular is just across the road.

Instant coffee for breakfast - that's a shame. No fitness or gym facilities.

The breakfast was very poor quality for such a high priced hotel, it looked like some of the food had been repeatedly put out for several days and there was very little that was appealing. On one day my room was serviced and two hand towels were left but no bath towel

Some employers are rude, and not solution based.

Proximity to my work.

The desk staff, for the most part, were not friendly, nor engaged with the customers. I stood at the desk with two staff members and was completely ignored. The staff could use a lesson on customer service. The hotel had no hot water for about 4-5 hours one of the evenings. There were several lamps in my room, however, only one of them worked properly. Many of the appliances are out-dated (hair dryer, etc.) and the TV was a joke. My laptop monitor has a bigger screen than the TV in my room. Worse, I could never even get a channel to appear. The Internet in my room was so weak that I could not even use Skype. I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and for the money, this was by far the worst. RK

The location is super. Also there are a lot of bars and restaurants in the horel or around the hotel. The hotel's building is very impressive, it is one of the symbols of Almaty.

The hotel' staff tell lies you very often. For they tell you they didn't have change, envelopes, etc. but they have it.

Location only

The room mentioned was 20Sq.mt ,whereas I think it was not more than 12 mtr. Services were poor. No Iron was provided. Charged us$ 7 for ironing a Shirt . Minibar Expensive. It was not a 4 Star hotel ,I can compare it to 1 star . There were no alternate Plugs available or 3 Pin socket ,to charge even the Mobile Phones

Cracked sink in the bathroom. Loo seat not attached. Horrible and manky behind the loo. Extractor fan not working. Entry card failed to work.

Не дают нормальных отчетных документов - только карточный слип и какой-то счет на турецком языке. Фискального чека и нормальной счет-фактуры у них нет

Hotel liegt relativ zentral ist ist sowohl für Städtereisen, als auch für Geschäftsreisen zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, Service ist gut organisiert und fast alle Wünsche werden umgesetzt. das Hotelrestaurant "Guns and Roses" ist auch für "Nicht-Hotelgäste" geöffnet und wird wegen der Live-Musik auch stark besucht.

Wlan verbindung ist etwas kompliziert durch Codes, die aller paar Stunden erneuert werden müssen.
