Messed up with a taxi driver about the Reunion Hotel instead of yours, which is due to my lack of Russian or his lack of English...

Internet connection is very poor. Sometimes no connection, if there is , very slow. There is also water problem in bathroom, sometimes no water , sometimes just hot water ( very hot water ) .

The staff did not speak a word of english, did not even know the word "shop". In the minibar there was a half drunk soda, nothing else.

I did not like anything--stay away from this hotel-- not worth any money!

It is a clean hotel with moderate prices, and very comfortable bed, at least for a hotel in that price range. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is new and offers a very good price/quality ratio.

The hotel is located near the area where all the local prostitutes hang around, so be prepared for some noises at night time, because the walls are very thin. Traveling with kids is not recommended for the same reason. Bathrooms are far from being great, no toilet paper but just some roll of sand paper, towels are old.

I did not like anything about this Hotel. Kazakhstan is a place where many people do not speak english. But I was thinking at least the receptionist should speak ha? No! No one at this hotel speaks english, on the other hand the location is a very poor place. You have to pay lots of money to taxi drivers of course the hotel calls them and receive some share. Poor brakfast and so on. I have changed my hotel at my first chance. On the other hand the rate for tenge is 1 USD=146 tenge. But at this hotel the rate changes every time. Sometimes 144 sometimes 140 (especially when you check out). I hated the stuff and the whole hotel. I do not recommend this place to any one.

koupelna-sprchovací kout svojí kvalitou rozhodně neodpovídal ceně a ani pestrost výběru snídaně neodpovídala cene pokoje za hotel na které jsme zvyklí v Evropě. Víc bych nedoporučil jak ano.

Большой, просторный номер. Вежливый персонал. Сделали свидетельство о регистрации пребывания иностранца в миграционной полиции в течение суток, хоть и за 5 000 KZT. Рядом находится кафе Booblik, где очень хорошая кухня на любой вкус и кошелек.

В пятницу- субботу постоянно проходят свадьбы и торжества. Шумно до 2 часов ночи. В номерах плохая звукоизоляция, слышимость отличная. Недалеко находится мечеть и каждый день в 6 утра мулла через мощные колонки возвещает о времени намаза. В номере отсутствует сейф для хранения ценных вещей. Конструктивно очень ненадежные замки во входных дверях. Скудный выбор блюд на завтрак. 8 дней омлета и рисовой каши- это слишком !

Дружелюбный персонал

В отеле нет лифта. Находится в районе Алмата-1, это не центр, порядка 12 минут на такси до центра. Плохая звукоизоляция

Good to sleep there, comfortable bed, thick curtains, airconditioning works. Good restaurant, food can be ordered until 2 am.

Some of the rooms have very small windows, and/or might lack items such as bedside lamps (but that can be arranged at request). Location is away from the centre, it can be reached by taxi in 15-30 minutes depending on the traffic.

Не очень большой, чистый отель. Вежливый персонал. Есть трансфер до аэропорта, ехать 20 минут.

Дверь моего номера не закрывалась на замок. В комнате слышно шум из коридора.

The rate was reduced by booking.com from 11900 KZT to 9900 KZT (same price written at the reception of the hotel) but the hotel still charged 11900 KZT justifying that the 9900 KZT price was for single room only!!!

Good price and not too far from the airport.

The hotel is located a bit far from everything, but can get anywhere by taxi. Hotel is located quite close to 'red lights' place in Amaty. Staff could be a bit friendlier. Very few people from Europe or Americas stay there. Mainly Russians and Central Asians.

The place was clean, the staff compliant, the beds comfortable and of a good size.

The Reunion Hotel is located far from city center and in an area that locals described as dangerous at night. The area is not one you want to be spending a day walking around in. The immediate area is populated by internet gambling spots, small run-down local suburban-style housing areas, cheap corner stores and crummy restaurants and bars.

The bad staff, I have to pay for a room in 2 times more than was indicated when booking, poor Internet.
