The WiFi was not great. Signal strength seemed fine, but something was blocking a lot of sites or causing them to crash. I became so frustrated I walked ten minutes to the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn, where the WiFi worked great.
The view from my room was awesome, especially of the Khan Shatyr changing colors through the night, but also of the brand-new national theater and also the sunset. The room had an interesting shape, and felt sort of traditional and elegant, even though the building is clearly brand-new. The room did not seem to have AC, but was very comfortable and breezy, even though it was already getting quite hot in early June. I was quite comfortable.
