Very helpful staff with good English. They recommended me to eat at a restaurant just 1.5 blocks away (Pinta), which was great. The location is central, and within 5 mins walk of the Metro and the main pedestrianised shopping street. The breakfast was a limited selection, but ok. When I needed a car to take me to the bus station, the bell boy came out and explained to a driver where I needed to go, and confirmed the price, which was a lot cheaper than booking a taxi! It was a good hotel, and I'd stay there again. It was pricey by Asian standards, but I guess that's Almaty for you!

Very good location in city center, friendly staff, up-to-date and of very good quality bedding, good and effectif bathroom & water closet equipment. lightening in bathroom & bedroom are not sufficient. There is no separate button for switching or turning off for bathroom's ventilation system: it is switching simultaneousely with the light and makes a lot of noise.

3rd time staying there, nice rooms, especially the suite we had this time. Very nice, huge shower with great water pressure. Decent breakfasts, very handy location for our needs. Internet service had an annoying habit of dropping in and out even though the router was on the wall outside our room. Managed to do what we needed, but was frustrating. TV channels were a bit all over the place in the mornings, but no major issue...

Being from Almaty myself, I was in urgent need for a good hotel for a New Year nigh. Prices were too high for an apartments due to an event. Voyage hotel has a perfect city location (except big traffics), good pricing policy, very polite hotel workers and nice rooms. Never could imagine that there are good small hotels in my home city. Well done, guys! Wrote in English, so that foreigners will understand ;-) Отель супер!) Smoking is prohibited in the rooms =(

The hotel is in the city center, easy access from airport, railway station. Metro station is not far away. Employees are friendly. Room was very clean, but very small. Reception should inform about difference in price when they order the taxi: if you pay directly to taxi driver you pay like 3 times less then if reception pays for you for the same taxi. When I asked - the receptionist said there is no difference, but taxi driver explained the difference.

The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, courteous - all one could ask. The rooms are not big but are extremely comfy, very snug and warm. An excellent boutique hotel - two nights we stayed there we could here a concert violinist, obviously a soloist, practicing before a concert, so this is a quality place. Solid rooms, everything first rate without being over the top. Zero - which was the temperature outside, not bad for December.

Very good value for this price, having in mind I was there during Kioge exhibition and all hotels increased their prices. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice cafe next to the reception, where they serve good breakfast. It is open all day and they have nice coffee there. I had to leave hotel at 02:00 am going to the airport, and they offered me "breakfast in bed" at no add cost, which was very tasty. All together best hotel for this money I ever stayed in Almaty. Problems with Internet ( was some issue with their provider i understood). Bad TV signal / quality.

Great location, excellent staff, new and clean, not as expensive as other Almaty hotels of the same quality. Some smaller things like soap dispenser, slippers, bathrobe etc would be a plus.

It is a small hotel by size. The service was excellent . When I checked in I found the standard room I booked was not to my expectations. It was too small and there was no moving space. I asked for upgrade. I decided to check out if I don't get an upgrade. But Hotel Manager agreed to upgrade me the next morning as soon as a room available. I got shifted to a Superior room by morning 8.00 am and every thing was quite good. There was no tea/coffee facility in the room initially, but when I requested , they provided me. There is only one restaurant. It was ok. The loaction of the hotel is good My first impression when I checked in was not good. But later, after they upgraded me to a better room, everything was ok. No complaints.

The hotel wsa good, clean with prompt service. Not quite up to "Western" standards but much, much better than typical hotels in old Soviet countries up and until only a year or so ago. While progress has been massive with hotels in old eastern bloc countries there is still room to be less formal and friendlier.
